HORRIBLE, Worst dealership i've ever had to deal with! Apparently a contract is only a contract when it benefits the dealership. I took delivery of my vehicle after being promised that the Check engine light be repaired, not the light itself, but the issue causing the light to illuminate. So i took delivery of the car and went on my merry way. To make a long story short they decided to have a brain dead technician work on my vehicle 5 times, and guess what, every time i left the lot and started my trek down to chicago the check engine light would come back on. So when i took the car back to them they told me that they've spent to much on the "repairs" of the vehicle and will no longer honor the "we owe" document. Now normally i wouldn't care to much about this because this is just a city car so i just need it to run healthy, but i can tell when people are just inherently shitty, like most of the sales managers here (because the dealership is losing money like a severed artery) but I'm heading over to Iraq again and needed this taken care of so my sister will have a car to drive while i'm gone, not trying to give a sob story but I wanted to express to them the nature of the situation. Well that didn't seem to help my case either. So in conclusion, this is a stereotypical dealership that preys on subprime customers, usually minorities, so save your nickels and go somewhere else in a less shitty area of town or perhaps a dealership that has the due diligence to inspect a vehicle before putting it on the lot and promising services that will never be fulfilled.

I traded my car in at Van Horn and had the pleasure of working with Dayne Piehl.  He took care of everything in an expeditious manner.  Thank you!

Called to inquire about a car I found online, I brought up the fact it was a "Total Loss" according to CarFax and asked for a lower price. Didn't budge on price and hung up on me... Going to another dealer.
