Service appointment was made just fine. When I entered the service facility, I didn't receive anything but the most cold treatment by the woman service rep. who came up to my car as I exited. Her service desk was/is between a Blake and the gentleman who assisted me. She not only was stoic in expression, but her cold demeanor made me feel uncomfortable around the service team in general. I was assigned another service rep. for some reason, and he took too long to return and respond to me, and couldn't make a print out of the headlight relay part that I wanted ordered. All he did was volunteer to write it in his sloppy handwriting. I would have preferred a bit more professionalism from both reps. and just a basic smile from the woman service team member. Her coldness didn't bother me, but I can only imagine how other customers feel while working with her.

Having basic professionalism and kindness isn't a lot to ask for. I just asked for a print out of my estimate from the male rep, and a smile from the rude female service rep. would have been sufficient for my normally low maintenance lifestyle. Haha. Any fruit in the service area would have been nice, but fruit isn't needed to make my day, I can bring my own. Haha. However, just a simple smile and a print out of my estimate would have been sufficient. That's all. Haha. ;-)

I needed to have my oil changed on my car so I called this morning and was able to get in right away today. When I checked in I asked if I had enough points for my oil change and sure enough I did and as a result it was completely free. In addition to a free oil change I got my car washed for free and a complimentary bag of Famous Amos cookies.  Love this place.

So...I'm sitting here buying my new car, waiting on the paperwork, and thought if draft a review.

Seems I had that thought already during a service and didn't finish it out. I either need an editor to harass me or a ghostwriter.

That said, hooray for the 2014.5 Camry!  I've said all the nice things about the service staff, but I can at least contribute to the sales process now, too.

Prentiss was the man (take note, Mr. Han). He was ready for my appointment when I walked in the door, asked the right questions and didn't try to be some sort of hustler on the lot. He noted my preferences, guided me to some great deals and worked with me to get me into the car I wanted. From start to finish, he was consistent, kept me informed, and even when he had other tasks and customers while I was waiting on the papers and such, still checked in to make sure I was happy.

Jared, who completed the contract and all, also clued me in on a bunch of little details from my previous car that actually got me a return of over $1k from my old car. (in addition to the $2k in rebates on the new ride) that I wouldn't have thought to even question.

This has single-handedly been the best car buying experience I've had in my many years of buying pricey toys. I'll be back for the next one after this is up in three years, and I'll recommend them each time.

Would  I buy again from Andrew.   Now I can say YES.  I am pleased to see they are sincere in their desire to make car purchase at a dealer a better experience.

I'm sure we've all purchased goods/services and had great customer communication and not so great.  When doing a large transaction in a retail/service setting I would expect it to far exceed an online purchase experience.

Update 5-2014.  After a lengthy discussion and sharing more of the experience with them, I can say they do seem to take my comments/suggestions/concerns very seriously.

I can truly say that  if you do have concerns, make sure you take the time to share with them.  I've moved Andrew Toyota from a 2star IMO to a 4star based solely on their professional, supportive and non-judgmental follow-up email exchange.

Thanks!
Rob!

Well my tire deflated for a third time after my second great experience. When I called the final time to ask for a refund they suggested I could have run over a nail since the last time. Cut me some slack here, it's the same tire three times in a row after being patched here, I think it's safe to assume going in that a patch job just wasn't the answer and it's no error on my part. They offered me a quote of 2 tires for $180 each. When AAA came to boot my car for the third time in two weeks I asked him how much a tire for my car should cost and he said no more than $100. Went to fleet farm, got some decent tires for 90 each and I'm not looking back. Loved the counter service at Andrew but I'm not sad to leave it behind.

Great customer service in Toyota sales at Andrew. I had a problem that was misdiagnosed initially. Duane, the sales
Manager took care of the issue and went over and beyond to fix the issue. Thank you for fixing my car and taking care of me.

I've had my car serviced at Andrew Toyota twice this summer -- first for scheduled maintenance, then to have a new side mirror installed (after my car got 'modified,' by a bus).

I think that Andrew Toyota's service department is exceptional.  When talking with staff on the phone and soon after arriving at the service department, it's very clear that Andrew Toyota takes customer service extremely seriously.  I was able to make appointments for service with very short notice (same day, or for the next morning), I have been greeted promptly by staff after pulling my car into the service area, and have never had to wait long for my car to be finished.  To me, Andrew Toyota's service folks have perfected their craft.

Spoiler alert: When your service is done and your car is ready to go, you'll find not only your car key and a service invoice in your car. You'll also find a package of Famous Amos cookies on your passenger seat, with a service employee's card stapled to the bag.  I don't eat cookies (blasphemy, I know), but this is a very nice gesture, which I appreciate and remember.

Well I accepted a deal for selling a vehicle to your dealership, and now to be told you no longer need my vehicle. Not acceptable. Thanks.

Superior Customer Service!  We have recently taken our Prius here for repair.  We did not buy our Prius at Andrew but we received the best customer service ever.  The employees had a great attitude and went above and beyond.  We are a die-hard toyota family and will be getting our next vehicle at Andrew!

I bought a car here a while back, and had a good experience with Prentiss.  He even spent about an hour helping me return my rental car so I could drive home in the car I bought from them.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they said my car had never been in any accidents.  They even showed me a printout of this.  But then, a few months after I bought the car, my dad had my car serviced and they pulled up a carfax which showed that it actually HAD been in an accident (albeit a minor one).

I'm still not sure how that happened, with the two conflicting reports, but either way it hasn't given me any problems and I really love my car.  It had low mileage, wasn't too old, and was in really good condition (plus the price was right).  Also, it was a certified used car :-)

5! 5! 5! Love this place. Bought 2 cars here with no complaints and my car dealer is amazing. We've been going to him ever since we have purchased Toyotas (Andrew Akhanon sp?) was our advisor. I never felt he tried to trick me into getting HIM a good deal, and was always honest. He took into consideration my financial situations (i.e. working/student my personal budget) and it has always worked out in the end. Their maintenance staff is very good as well! Always kept me up to date about my vehicle and explained things to me I did not understand. One of the service reps even gave me advice as to who to contact for a good deal for my broken window. What I like most is that you can even sign up for a maintenance appointment online - with no hassel! Will definitely recommend this to whomever is looking for a good car, let alone a good honest salesman!

used to live in mke.  got charged few hundred on routine maintenance.  at that visit asked why my steering wheel clicking--told me needed power steering line changed for over 700 dollars.  had second opinion at Kar Kare on Bluemound.  they printed out service bulletin from toyota website saying the clicking is a known complaint and a benign problem.  Only charged me a low (less than 50 dollar) diagnostic fee.

I bought my car here years ago, but this review is not for that. It is for the most recent service experience I had. Every step of the way, I dealt with very friendly people who made everything really easy. It seems like every employee really enjoys working here. I would assume that the company takes good care of their employees.

I greatly appreciate the free shuttle service they provide (within 30 miles, which is a HUGE area!). I dropped my car off at 2:00 and asked that it be done by 5:00 and they were able to accommodate that.

They put paper down on the floor mats and a full cover over the driver's seat so they don't get anything on it. They also leave a handy checklist of the work they did, along with a package of cookies on the passenger seat for you!

I might consider having future work done on my car here, but I also like to spread my business to small, local mechanics, too, so we'll see!

In the last dozen years we have bought 3  new cars from Andrew Toyota. My wife and I have come to expect a high level of professionalism from both sales and service at Andrew. We have never had buyers remorse after these purchases.  The sales people have always given us plenty of time and space to decide which options and trim levels we wanted.   The service are reliable in terms of completing work in a reasonable amount of time.
