Reviews on Pierre Chevrolet

Simplicity is key. Got my GMC 2012 Terrain in for an oil chance/service and customer service was on point. Matt Davis was my rep and was professional and also went over all of the vehicle inspection with me. I felt like I was not being hussled at all and appreciated the quick service. All under $44 for oil change, filter, fill up all other fluids like windshield wiper and it's nice they have a decent lounge with cable, wifi and power plugs.  Simple dependable.

I leased a Volt from Pierre in late 2012. The sales experience was okay- the salesperson didn't know anything about the car or GM lease deals at the time, but was polite. Service/maintenance was great, one of the best dealers around.

My main problem happened after returning the lease. I dropped off the car free of damage (with a signed form stating as such). A few weeks later, Ally Financial sent me a bill with an excess wear charge for damage to the front bumper. Looking at the inspection photos, it was clear that someone backed into the car with a trailer hitch and left a 2" hole in the front bumper.

I immediately called Pierre to work out the issue. I was told their lease guy was on vacation for a week and a half and I pushed back since the Ally bill was due immediately. After being bounced around to different voicemails with no calls back for a couple days, I finally spoke to a manager. He promised to take care of it, but needed to check something out. I was promised a call back a week ago, and haven't been able to get in touch with him since.

I am now trying to work something out with Ally and am seriously disappointed in how this dealership handled the situation.

1 Star for deceiving advertizing... SO thank goodness I decided to call BEFORE I showed up!
They sent me an ad of Scratch and Win; so I did; I won "7,500"; notice something missing??? Yes, no "$" (dollar signs) ... the super polite lady over the phone explain that the number is to match SOMETHING on their wall + claim my $5.00 + and Enter to a chance to win any of their actual 4 prices (the ones advertised in the ad)!!!!

With grad school work, a concert and a out-of-town trip! PEOPLE ARE BUSY! Imagine if I would have gone! I would have been arrested for causing a scene!

In October, I scheduled my 2003 Chevy Malibu for its ignition switch recall.

When I arrived on Friday, October 17th, I was told that I would be required to pay for the recall because I did not have the original keys to my car. I agreed because it was a small domination of money, but felt frustrated (maybe tricked) because I had explicitly asked the customer service representative on the phone about this. I had explicitly asked about all fees and charges associated with the repair. He assured me it was all "free." It took them three hours, but eventually they replaced my keys.

Phil told me that he had difficulties turning-over my car, he couldn't get the keys to work. In the three hours he had my vehicle, he was never able to successfully start it; therefore he matched the keys from the parking lot.
I watched him bang around the ignition, and it was true, he really couldn't get it to turn-over.

I had never had this problem before. I thought it was weird that he was experiencing difficulties. On my first attempt, I was able to start my vehicle. I laughed and said: "oh, maybe she only drives for me."

Fast forward a few weeks:
My car suddenly began having problems starting. The battery would get electricity but no fuel would enter the system. When it would turn-over, it would randomly, and without notice, shut-off. Imagine driving 40 mph on Aurora, when suddenly the dashboard illuminates, the power steering turns-off, and the car dies. This is incredibly dangerous and scary -- especially on a busy thoroughfare. There are something like eight reported deaths as from this exact Chevy problem.

I did some simple googling and learned that this is a systemic issue the recall was intended to fix.

My car had never had any problems starting, or staying on, until I had that "free" recall.

I called Chevy.
Cliff over at Chevy confirmed for me that they would take care of the issue at no expense of my own. He said, verbatim: "it sounds like something we must've done while we were fixing your recall. Bring it in, we'll take care of it." He confirmed numerous times that I would not I incur any cost for them to fix this problem.

When I arrived, however, I was told that I would be required to pay a $120 diagnosis fee. *If* Chevy determined that the issue was their fault, then I would not be required to pay the fee, but I still may be responsible for the cost of the replacement parts, or labor.
This was 100-percent, the absolute opposite of what was communicated to me via the phone.

I asked for the supervisor. Eventually, he came to the desk, but he did not make eye contact with me, nor did he speak to me. The supervisor immediately began speaking quietly to Cliff. Whatever was happening, I know this, it wasn't customer service. It smelled a lot like protecting the short-term, poorly-prioritized interests of the company.

I politely expressed to the supervisor that I was told my car repairs would be covered under the recall, and I wanted him to confirm that this was going to be honored before I gave them permission to take my car.

He was discernibly bothered to be speaking about this with me. He scoffed at me. He told me that I probably misunderstood what was told me, or "[I] probably only heard what [I] wanted to hear."

I explained to him that I did not appreciate being lured into business, and they misrepresented their services to me.

It was around this point that the the supervisor looked me in the eye and told me that I should: "take my car to another dealership for free repairs."

In no uncertain terms, I have been lied to by this dealership.
In no uncertain terms, the costs, fees, and expenses have changed both times I have arrived for my appointment.
In no uncertain terms, I have been been treated with disrespect -- my time has been disrespected, my intelligence has been mocked, and and my integrity has been questioned -- accusing me of mooching for free services.

In no uncertain terms, my car developed severe issues after receiving services from them -- and they want to be absolved from any liability or consequence.

I took my vehicle to two separate mechanics, both of whom I trust. Independently and without my prompting, both mechanics have said it is likely Chevy is responsible for the new issue. Both mechanics associate the intermittent turn-over issue with the new key, or whatever happened while the mechanic was attempting to get the key to work.
Both mechanics laughed at Chevy's failure to take responsibility for their negligence.

A fun little final detail: Chevy did perform a diagnosis on my car. They did not charge me the $120 fee. However, they did give me an estimate of repairs nearing $500 which included a new ignition switch.
I took my car to my trusted mechanic. He replaced just the electrical portion of the ignition switch, a repair that cost me about $200 -- including his $88 diagnosis fee.

Terrible customer service.
Lady at the front desk was rude and very unwelcoming.
Ended up walking out after doing paper work for 5 minutes because I couldn't handle how rude, inconsiderate & pushy this place is. Sales man said we had to be sure we would buy it today so we wouldn't be "flaky" as he didn't want to enter the paper work and have us walk out and not get a sale..... Ridiculous!!!

Nice guys and a good dealership. This is the 2nd car we have purchased from them. Both Chevy volts. It took a while today but we are happy. The microphone for Onstar is broken so we'll have to travel back and get that fixed. Other than that it's all good. I wished they would have detailed it a bit better too. The inside front window was very dirty and the back seat carpets weren't vacuumed. It's little things like that I like to have, but I'm still happy with the car.

Gerardo A. | 2014-12-28

I would not come back to this place. I got cussed out because i didn't take the vehicle i was pressured to buy. At the end of the day its a business and I'm the one spending the money.

James W. | 2014-12-03

Just purchased a Chevy Spark from Bill Pierre Chevrolet.  The car buying experience was smooth. The sales staff and finance personal made it effortless for my car buying experience.

Ally D. | 2014-11-29

Whenever we stop by the Bill Pierre Chevrolet dealership, we know that we are going to be well taken care of. Not only do they do a great job maintaining our vehicles, but they even wash them after oil changes. As long as we live in the Seattle area, we won't buy a Chevy anywhere else.

Maki S. | 2014-11-14

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership, and the professionally straightforward mechanics that work there. Don't expect to yuck it up with grease monkeys. The service guys may as well be wearing suits! They will try very hard to make sure any obstacles are met with their best efforts to save you money (and who doesn't love that!). They will say something like "we checked under your car, tire treads, in the trunk and will need to order such and such part", followed by multiple apologies, which are always great. They will escort you to the waiting room that has amenities such as a large flat screen tv, microwave, sink, and (more importantly) multiple sockets to charge your phone. They will work efficiently and quickly, which is unfortunate for your phone (that would likely be dying like it always does). Expect to receive update calls, should you request one. In addition to the aforementioned efforts, you will get a car wash/vacuum on the house. My car never ran so smoothly!

Went in yesterday after emailing back and forth with Mike and Matt. They actually found the car I wanted before I got there (and I'm a car salesman, we don't usually do this kind of thing), and once I arrived we test-drove, figured out the math, sat down with Stuart in finance, and I was driving away soon afterward.

Positive experience overall. Mike was a great salesman and Matt (the desk manager) really went out of his way to make the numbers work.

Highly recommended!

Do not let these people get your email address.  Seriously.

I naively used the Corvette website to spec out a car I wanted to order.  At the end, I was given the option to share my information so that I could obtain a quote.  Boy did that sound convenient.  Boy was I mistaken.

The website doesn't actually share out the specs for your vehicle, so all they know is that you wanted a Corvette.  Not what type of Corvette.  This makes a quote impossible.

Once I realized that, I explained to Theo that I would prefer to just re-do the specs in person and not via email, and asked that he stop emailing me.  He did... and then Gursh started emailing me.  Once again, I asked that the company stop emailing me.  He stopped... and then Anne started emailing me.  This time I realized there was an opt out option at the bottom of the email.  I not only asked Anne to stop emailing me, but I opted out of any future communications.

Guess how well that worked?  So today I asked Zayd to stop emailing me.

Don't get me wrong - I don't blame any of those individuals.  I realize they're most likely just doing what they were told to do, but wow for a complete lack of respect for an individual's wishes.  When I queried for Bill Pierre in my inbox, I currently have around 20 emails from some combination of wecare@pierrechevrolet.c… , billpierrechevrolet@meet… , and emailService@dealersocke… .  (Yes, they use multiple email addresses which makes blocking them even harder.)

I have since then ordered a Corvette through Lee Johnson Chevrolet in Kirkland.

I came into Bill Pierre this weekend looking for a car with my family after being in a nasty accident about two weeks ago.  My car (a Sebring convertible) was totaled from the incident and the experience didn't leave me with much hope to find something new.  However, thanks to our awesome sales consultant, Kelly McNeal my outlook quickly changed.

I wasn't sure what type of vehicle I was searching for, but I had good experiences driving my parents' Ford Escape last winter while working at a ski resort.  Above all, safety was my top priority.  Almost anything seemed better than that awful convertible.  We looked at several models including fiesta, focus, and fusion, but after test driving the escape I knew I was in love.

After negotiating prices, we were able to sign a two year lease at a really reasonable rate.  I can't tell you how happy I was from my experience with Kelly.  Although it took some time to determine an affordable plan, he stuck by me the entire time.  I was pretty flexible with whichever model (though I loved the escape the most) and I sensed Kelly picked up on that.  I really appreciate his kindness, honesty, and commitment.  He really made me feel important and gave me back my sense of security.  I'm so overjoyed at the investment I have made and grateful to Kelly and the BP staff for their patience and perseverance.

This place is truly wonderful.  Their hard efforts will definitely not go unnoticed because they care about your wants and needs.  Thanks to Kelly I no longer feel intimidated driving in the city.  Through and through he made sure my input was acknowledged and that I didn't leave feeling like I settled for less than I wanted.  Thank you again Kelly for bringing light back into my life.  Can't stress enough how happy I am.  Cheers!

I am in awe of what Bill Pierre Chevrolet has done for me.  Finally, after 4-1/2 years of negotiating with several dealers, Bill Pierre got it done.  Bill Pierre got me into a brand new Cruze 1LT in Blue Ray Metallic for 3% financing when other dealers had me in the 12% to 20% bracket.  I don't know how they did it, but that's fine by me.  My new car handles awesome, and with the 1LT options I can keep this one for many years.  Mitch was very straightforward and Scott is a steely-eyed missile man in finance and got me the best deal in town with Ally (GM financing) when everybody else wanted to rake me over the coals with Capital One.

This is a great day, I am so happy with my deal and very affordable car payments that mean I can pay the rent, too.  It was either a Camaro or a Cruze, and for me the Cruze fits my budget nicely. Best of all, there was no attitude, no unpleasantness I felt at other dealerships.  This one has got it together, and no, they did not push for a good review.  I offered it to them as a way of saying "Thank you" for getting me into a great new car!  Chevy dealers Seattle, best Chevy dealers, no-nonsense, great financing, smooth process, best new car deals Seattle.

Awesome!

We bought trade in 2013 Plug-in Prius their customer traded with Volt. While their own website listed for $24,995, they wrote $31,000 on sales contract. They changed it after I pointed it out. Salesman, Cedric told us the car was traded in one week ago. However, I sew the ad was placed in June and they even reduced the price. Matt told us there's no room to negotiate. so we bought it as listed.

It had big scratches on the bumper and Cedric said the shop can take care of it for free first thing in the morning. When we went back on Monday morning, they said they were too busy and don't know when they can get to it. They loaned me a rental car so that they can work on it. They got it done by Wednesday evening.

After I signed a contract, I was given one remote key. I asked for another remote key but it didn't come with it. We also found out electrical cord for plug-in was missing. Cedric told us plug-in Prius doesn't come with the electrical cord. We know it comes with the car because we have seen another plug-in Prius at different dealership. I wished the fact (it didn't come with the charge cord nor spare remote) was disclosed at the negotiation. Because charge cord costs $1,000 and remote key cost $450.

The car actually had 2,500 miles more than it was listed on sales paper and ad online. Also, previous owners auto insurance information and temporary permit vehicle registration was inside of grove compartment. These could have lead to legal issue, too. Good to Go sticker was still on the car as well.

I would not buy Volt from this dealership we plan to purchase in a future. We gave them a chance but sadly disappointed.

A sales person, Keith was kind enough to fill up the gas for the rental car. I wished he was my salesman. Stuart provided good service on financing.

Bill Pierre Chevrolet employs the most dishonest people I've ever encountered. My wife and I drove from Idaho to purchase a 2007 Honda Element we saw on Cars.com on April 22, 2013. I called the dealership to make sure it was still available and was quoted by the salesman, Abdallah, that the price was $13, 800. When we arrived at the Bill Pierre Chevrolet, the price jumped to $14,500 (the first of many lies and deceptions) and the vehicle was nowhere in sight. We were told that it was just received as a trade-in (another lie...Carfax says they received the vehicle almost 3 weeks before we came to look at it) and still needed to be looked over by their mechanic and detailed. Okay fine, so we zip over to the mechanics lot to give the car a visual inspection. The car is very dirty and crammed between 2 other cars and we aren't able to fully inspect the vehicle or even start it. Abdallah says if we like the vehicle, we can START the paperwork contingent on the test drive/full inspection by us. Soooo, being naïve and excited about our potential new car, we say okay, we'll do that. He tells us that the car will be available to us that evening, 10am the following morning at the latest, so we start the paperwork.

We are handed off to a short bald man who is the "finance guy". I despise this man. He tacks on $3000 in warranties/fees to the purchase price. I told him repeatedly that I wanted no warranties added to the financing, which he fought me over. I finally get him to remove the warranties and notice that he's left on something called "Theftgard" which he tells me we need to have. I tell him to take that off too. He gets an attitude and a pouty face and finally removes all but $99 of this "protection". In doing this, he jacks up our interest rate to 10%. I tell him that my wife has an 800 credit score and could easily go to the bank and get a loan with a 3-4% APR. He gets cranky and tells me that because I removed the warranties, my interest rate is going to be sky high. Lies, lies, lies!!!  We should have run away from this place at this point, but instead we stupidly signed the paperwork.

The vehicle is not ready by that evening, or by 10am the following morning, or noon, or 3pm. We sit at the dealership the entire following day waiting for the car, continuously being lied to about what is happening or when the car will be available to us. Everyone is ignoring us and acting like we are invisible. It was pretty uncomfortable. Finally at 3:45ish, the car appears and we take it out for the test drive. It has not been detailed as promised. Instead, the exterior has been sprayed off and the interior hasn't been cleaned at all. There is dog hair still on the rear seats and the car smells like an entire can of deodorant spray has exploded inside. We discover that the interior is faaaaarrr from the Excellent condition price we agreed on in the purchase price. It has tears/rips in the seats and headliner and several plastic pieces are broken or damaged. The exterior paint condition is also in Fair condition. There are big chips and an area all around the gas door where the paint has been scraped off. The car is in barely better than Fair condition.

The final straw is that when we are thoroughly looking over the car we discover that there is oil spraying from underneath the car. We drive back to the dealership and tell them "We want our down payment and our trade in and we are leaving".  They spend the next uncomfortable 2+ hours trying to get us to take the LEMON. We are both so irate at the end that we feel like screaming at them. We are even told my Abdallah that "it's a done deal. The car is yours." One of the 5 people (none of whom tell us their job title) they send to try to make us take the pile of garbage car and even tells us that if we want to leave, our only option is to take "our new car". These people are the worst. I've never encountered so many slime balls in one place. Finally, without a word, they give us our money and our trade-in back and we leave the place.

The best part is that once we arrive home, I check the Carfax thoroughly and find out that the car we almost bought, VIN # 5J6YH27737L000202, has been wrecked and was used as a fleet vehicle (think 4,000+ miles a month). The KBB value was only $12,500 for one in Excellent condition, which it clearly was not. My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing a used car from Bill Pierre Chevrolet is...STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE LIARS!!!  They are extremely high pressure and will lie and deceive you to make the sale.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, that's not an option.

Ali W. | 2014-08-06

DON'T GO HERE!!

I went to this dealership to buy a 2012 Nissan Ultima S a very basic car that had 69000 on the odometer after receiving numerous emails and calls from them. I told them how much I wanted to spend and they said "we will be able to negotiate a deal" When I got there first, the car wasn't there, it was actually 15 miles away at a different dealership. After wasting nearly 2 hours of my time, the so called manager says " I can only buy old car with lots of damage on it" . Now keep in mind that I made an offer before I went there which was $10,500.  This guy was very disrespectful and had no regard for my time.

Brian J. | 2014-07-18

Pushy.  Yes.

Good business.  Yes.

While they are a bit of a pressure type in sales, if you negotiate hard you'll get a good deal.  I got over KBB for my trade and $1750 under invoice on my new car here.

Edited to add: I bought my car in 2012 and when I paid off the loan, they promptly delivered the title.  Additionally they replaced a blinker light bulb under warranty and it was no hassle.

Over the years, I have purchased many new vehicles. Sometimes the experience was less than enjoyable. That was not the case yesterday at Bill Pierre Chevrolet. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional.

I was greeted warmly by team members. The Internet Sales manager, Casey, had the vehicle ready to look at and drive. He answered all of my questions. He was never in "sales mode."  A true gentleman to work with.

The experience inside was more of the same. From negotiations to finance to delivery - everything was smooth, friendly and enjoyable.

I do not hesitate to highly recommend Casey and the Bill Pierre Chevrolet team!

Sincerely,

John

This is my third time visiting this dealership since I moved to Seattle, and I believe a review is overdue. I've owned my Chevy since 05, and this is my 3rd dealership, and I'm blown away -- never thought I'd say that. Last time I went in, I had a unique situation (which I can't mention here) and they went above and beyond to help me resolve it. Today I went in, and the service tech took great care of me. He was cool and intelligent, and patient with my lack of knowledge -- but really cared about helping me locate my truck's issues I've been having. They were generous on diagnosis charges which is the opposite of my experience with other dealership service dept.'s. They were super helpful at explaining things to me, and Brian, the tech, took a ton of time to show me what was going on under the truck, despite needing to get himself to a personal appointment. Thanks to Alan and Brian, I gotta say I'm impressed. I have a good list from them of what I need to get done to my truck, with no pressure and no BS, and a good idea of how to prioritize the work. This is how a dealership ought to run, and thanks to these gents their shop has my loyalty.

They have done everything I needed afterward out standing.

We had a great experience today with Galen McKay!  He worked hard to find us the right car to fit our big family at a price we could afford.  Nailed it!  Go check in with Galen when you are in the market for car - he'll work hard for you.

Plain and simple, my experience at Bill Pierre Chevrolet was exactly what I did not want to have happen and what I told the sales rep I was working with I wanted to avoid. I *literally* said what I did not want to have happen as the first thing I told the rep. Unfortunately, that's exactly what did happen. Here's how it went...

I told the rep I know what I want, it's nothing special, just a particular configuration, and I don't want to pay for a bunch of extras. Rather, I just want to pay for what I want and get exactly what I want. And, to that, I asked for confirmation that if we work together, and if he could not find what I want in his or someone else's inventory, that he would order from the factory for me. His reply, exactly, was, "Well, I am sure we'll find something that works." I know, I should have just left. But, I pressed the rep and he said, yes, we'll order from the factory. So.....

After walking through the exact build I wanted, and making it very clear that I want what I want, not what is close to what I want or easy for them to get, they told me they had exactly what I wanted. GREAT! Only issue was, it wasn't exactly what I wanted. It was the wrong color. In fact, they located two cars, neither was what I wanted. So after a whole lot of explanation I have these guys trying to sell me the car I do not want and not making an effort to get the one I do want.

I left after driving a couple of cars to think about my next move. Before leaving the Sales Manager came over to assess the timing of my purchase, not to make sure I had what I wanted (I didn't). I found the rep I was working with difficult to work with remotely (I tried via phone and email). We had a couple of exchanges but then he just forgot about me because, silly me, I had questions to ask before giving my money away. I am pretty shocked because I had my mind made up to give somebody my money. They make it difficult at Bill Pierre - I know this because I also bought a Ford from their dealership across the street. That was a ridiculous process, too. Way more so because I saw it all the way through and witnessed absolute incompetence from some of their salespeople. I demanded a different salesperson as a result. The Bill Pierre Ford Finance Manager is a great guy though and knows his stuff, but I had trouble with other folks in sales. Their culture at Bill Pierre is to lure you in, hook you, and grind you down in the dealership. Trust me, that is how they do it. I would avoid them. But... if you want a Chevy (or a Kia) I have a GREAT solution...

I resolved my Chevy problem by calling Chuck Olson Chevrolet. I was bitter and pissed off when I called them the first time (from my experience at Bill Pierre Chevrolet). I asked for the Sales Manager (Perry) and explained exactly what I did not want to go through and how I wanted the process to go down and that I knew they did not have in inventory what I wanted (because I checked) and that I just needed them to order me my car. He said they would absolutely do that and put me on the phone with Bill Koch.

Bill and I spoke, he listened, he confirmed they did not have what I wanted (exactly), and would order me MY car. He followed-up with me via mail later that day, answered ALL of my questions in detail (he actually knew the answers), and was very professional. I went in the next day and, in an hour, had placed my order. It was that easy. Perry came over to introduce himself and say hi. No shakedown from the Sales Manager.

If you want a Chevy (or a Kia) PLEASE... just go to see Bill Koch at Chuck Olson. In full disclosure, I have ordered my car from the factory and don't have it yet. So, there is more to work through. So far, they made this process so easy and I would absolutely go back to them.

BTW - out of courtesy to the folks at Bill Pierre Chevrolet, I emailed them back to say they could continue to forget about me because I was going somewhere else. THEN I got a reply. The rep told me he did in fact want to work with me and earn my business. I told him too late. He asked me what I ended up getting. Well, had he listened all along he would have already known.

Wow, these guys are great! They totally fixed multiple problems with my car when other auto shops couldn't figure it out. Also, for some of the work they only charged me for parts and not labor. When that part didn't solve my problem they took my car back and did a lot of work on it completely free to rectify the situation. AND they washed my car on the outside and inside (my car was gross too)! They really built up my trust and I will never go anywhere else for repairs.

Just out of principle and respect for how they do business, when I want a new car or any repairs, I'm going here first.

J S. | 2014-04-09

So I waited 2 weeks to let that "new(to me) car" feeling sink in and be able to write an objectionable review based on my experience and the vehicle that I purchased. I went in and was quickly paired with Jessie a relatively new salesman, which was nice. He was very personable and started asking me all the necessary questions to get me into what I wanted.  I only had one other experience with Bill Pierre and that was 10 YEARS ago! BUT... That was the very car I was trading in! So that experience was a good one. That car I had literally driven into the ground and they were still willing to take, actually tow it from my house and give me $1800 for it. Jessie showed me several different options at different lots around town. I eventually was shown a Nissan Murano, 2006, which was way older then I was looking for. But it had only 40k miles and was super clean! One owner and clean car fax report. I took it. So far it's been an amazing car to drive and I couldn't be happier with it. The financing was a little more than I wanted but that was due to my own credit issues, certainly no fault to the dealer. I would definitely recommend these guys and be sure to ask for Jessie Snowden

First Class Experience,
I called Mitch Edvald about buying a used vehicle he said he would call me back because he had to check on the price, Mitch got busy so Erick Kelley promptly retuned my call and flat out asked what I was looking for. Erick thought he could work a lease on a NEW 2014 Silverado, a lease was my preference but it seemed to be out of my budget and I thought it was 100% out of the question. I told Erick I can't stand the bait and switch, If you can honor that price I will lease a 2014 tonight. Erick had Mike one of the sales guys pick me up at my house in Newcastle in the new truck and drive me to the dealership. Too my surprise Erick, Mitch and Mike made the deal happen for exactly what they told me on the phone THEY ARE MEN OF THEIR WORD! what a great vehicle buying experience, they have earned my business!. In the one week of not having a truck I had 3 horrible dealership experiences with the classic bait and switch, complete time wasters with slim ball dudes.
It is very obvious Mitch, Mike, Erick and Stuart in Finance are very proud of there jobs and are very good at what they do, I cant thank you enough for providing a pleasurable hassle free buying experience.

You Guy's Rock!!

PS I LOVE MY NEW TRUCK

Steve

Thank you Mat, Stuart and Theodore! Everyone stepped up at Pierre and did more than anybody else would even consider. Highly recommended.....

I love Pierre Chevrolet. I recently bought a used 2011 BMW from them, and there was one headlight out. They gave me a great price for the car and for my trade in and promised they would replace the light free of charge. In the coming days I scheduled an appointment to replace my light bulb, in which they discovered another halo light was not working, and some of my fuses were bad. They called a rental call for me and drove my car down to BMW Seattle for them to fix everything up. During the fix up BMW Seattle noticed that my door lock on the passenger side was failing, Pierre Chevrolet paid and fixed that. In the end, they fixed everything that was wrong with me car, paid for the rental car for a week, and in the end it did not cost me a dime. When it is time to replace my car again I will most defiantly go to Pierre Chevrolet. Their customer service was also amazing! I am recommending them to everyone!

Jeff Tims was super friendly and helpful as we went through the whole car buying process. It was important to us to find something affordable while accommodating my 6'5" husband and tall teenage sons so, the backseat had to be roomy.  We got to take as long as we needed to figure out which car best suits our family. Ended up purchasing a 2013, Dodge Avenger.  The check engine light went on a day afterwards and he helped us to get service.  He went above and beyond, we would go back to him in the future.

They hooked me up.

Long story short I saw a 1 year old low mileage Volvo XC90 R Design on Craigslist that was listed under Bill Pierre. Those are rare and the car was exactly what I wanted so I called them - they quoted me a high sum (compared to what I was expecting but nothing outlandish - it was in the ballpark of what other dealers where asking) but sensing my reluctance they offered I stop by, drive the car as long as I wanted to and chat with them.

5.30 hours later (1.30 test drive and 4 hours negotiations/paperwork) I walked out with the car I wanted and both sides were happy with the deal. But that's not why I gave them 5 stars. The reason is they took care of my extreme demands for perfection on a used car that wasnt even a Chevy...

- I negotiated they add a clear bra/paint protecting film on the car. They had a top notch shop do it, not the cheapest firm even though they could have made more money that way. When I saw it and changed my mind and decided I wanted more of the car covered, they worked with the shop to accommodate that and it was a complex job (the hood has all sorts of indentations etc)
- they got a company to touch up a few small scratches that my car had (for 50 bucks)
- they got a company to fix a door ding I had (paint less dent repair) for free
- I wasn't happy with the original detail job they did (before I bought the car) as the wax was everywhere (in nooks and crannies). I pointed it out, they had their best guy do my car - it came out looking perfect.
- They constantly kept in touch and let me know when the car would be ready. Did stuff super quickly.

This isn't a BMW dealer, no fancy waiting room etc. They are also experienced salesmen so do your homework - they are running a business after all. However, if you know what you want and are willing to ask for it, they will go out of their way to please you.

Special call out to Matt Goldstein - used car sales manager who 'got it', Keith Battle in sales and Jeff in service who took care of all my many requests. Happy customer.

Bunch of dirtbags! Do NOT buy a car there! They'll screw you! I wanted to cancel the extended warranty the very next day, and got absolutely no answer back from these freaks! I was told at the time that I can cancel anytime without any problems. Sent emails, tried calling...nothing! Stay away!

Well, aside from having to go through the whole car buying process and spending hours at the dealership....  the vehicle and the salesman were both great.  When I first arrived I said I wanted an SUV and had to have specific things such as leather, third row seating, plenty of room for a large family.  The salesman-Devon Thiele led me straight to a Suburban that was deeply discounted and pretty quickly we took it for a test drive.  It was a difficult sell for me because I was not excited about the V8 gas guzzling type of SUV.  Because of the price I actually entertained it but had a couple things I wanted discounted further (stains on the carpets, few small dents) so he tried really hard to get the sales manager to negotiate even more on the price.  Unfortunately his "sales manager" was a total dick.  He really pushed, did the hard sell and was extremely rude and condescending...  so much so that I got up and was walking out of the dealership, extremely disappointed and immensely irritated.
I could tell Devon was trying really hard to just get me what I wanted so when he mentioned (as I was getting in my car) that they did have a Traverse with leather and third row seating if I wanted to take a look at it... I decided to go ahead and see it. Only because he had been so courteous and respectful up to that point, did I decide to take a look at it (also, the fact that his sales manager disappeared played out extremely well for Devon).
So he brought the car up front and I was instantly interested.  He told me about the pricing decrease that had not yet been advertised (was going to be reduced that night) so it was $2,000 less than the sticker price.  He probably could've gone without doing that as much as I liked the car, so I really appreciated his desire to make up for the previous issues with the manager.
He hung out and chatted with me and my grandfather during the long process of paperwork, financing and finding the best rates on the vehicle loan.  Very personable and the fact that he wasn't pushy or arrogant was MUCH APPRECIATED!!  If you are going to Bill Pierre, definitely see Devon.

THANK YOU!!!! I came in with a car that was way passed dead... The amount it would have cost to fix all of it's problems was just way more than my car was worth. I walked in and was greeted by Weston. Lucky me! He helped me get the perfect car for me for pretty close to what I had budgeted!! His boss and him worked their butts off for hours to make sure I left that night with a car that I loved that I could afford. When it was time to sign papers, there was no BS pushing of extra warranties and stuff! Jared was awesome and let me know the benefits of each add on and I added on what I felt I needed. The whole experience was great and I appreciate these guys so much!! THANK YOU!!

These guys totally tried to pull a bait-and-switch on me.  Over the phone I arranged a deal with one of their salesmen on a Chevy Volt.  I talked to the salesman around 1pm and he begged me to come in after work to close the deal.  I reluctantly agreed, but I specifically told the guy on the phone that I didn't want to waste my time if the dealership wouldn't honor the deal when I came in.  He promised...

When I got there, the salesman I had been talking to on the phone was not there.  Another salesman told me that something had come up and he had to leave.  The new salesman was unwilling to honor the deal I had worked out over the phone, and made an offer to me that was about 25% higher than what we had discussed on the phone.  I left.

Classic bait-and-switch.  In my opinion, very dishonest.  I would defintely go somewhere else, even if it means driving further.

As a side note, there was this couple sitting behind us when we were waiting for the substitute dealer to make us an offer.  We sat there and listened to another dealer unload a huge pile of BS on that couple.  Seems to me like dishonesty is the standard at this dealership.

This was the smoothest car buying/trade-in experience we have ever had. We contacted this dealer because they had the best Internet price for the car we were looking for. There was no pressure. They honored the price and gave us a fair deal on our trade-in. They even beat the financing we walked in the door with. All three people we dealt with we're great. They knew we were in a hurry and worked as fast as they could to help us. They even mailed us the things we forgot from our trade-in. Best car buying experience ever!

STAY AWAY.

I saw an ad on Edmunds for a car being sold here and went to check it out. First David was trying to steer me HARD to get a new car, and essentially told me I shouldn't even be there if I wanted the car I did. Then I managed to get through to Charles, another sales rep, who tried to convince me that a completely different car is what the ad was for, at a completely different price. He promised a test drive after copying my driver's license, then came back out to the car and said I had to fill out paperwork, then we could do a test drive while folks at the office looked at it, then when the paperwork was done had me wait while they looked at it, then eventually took me for a test drive. This car in "Excellent condition" was shaking like it had Parkinson's disease when we got up to speed, and the interior was in poor shape. When we got back, I got the usual sales pitch and pressure, but I noticed that they were pushing VERY hard to get the deal that day, and were throwing out a different offered price/payment every two minutes. When I said I wanted to take a night to talk to my significant other about the purchase, I was greeted with "Why do you hate this car?" "Don't you know this will be gone tomorrow?" etc.

They had FALSE ADVERTISING, then lied, put on a lot of pressure, lied, tried to confuse me with constant conflicting rate offers, lied, and generally treated a customer like crap. As other reviewers have said, steer clear.

Addendum:
I forgot to mention that like others, my significant other and I were essentially held there while they bombarded with pitches, being given no polite way out other than buying immediately. We were also discouraged from looking at Carfax or looking online at Kelly Blue Book, etc. When we tried to get any information other than "BUY IT NOW BUY IT NOW BUY IT NOW", we were pestered by the sales guy.

Josh B. | 2013-07-27

Jessica LaTour helped us purchase a Jeep Compass. She is by far the best car sales person I have ever worked with. If you go here bypass everyone else and go straight to her!

Chris P. | 2013-07-11

Don't buy a used car here. These guys don't operate with credible business practices and are pushy sales people. Once they've got you out the door with the car they won't follow up with you at all on commitments they made at could absolutely care less about you as a customer. Also be careful about the warranties they try to sell you here. Sales rep told me the warranty he sold me would cover all routine repairs for 50,000 miles as long as I "maintained the car". He described this as regular oil changes - didn't tell me I'd have to get a $1500 repair in less than 2000 miles to keep my warranty. Would never buy from here again.

Mauri S. | 2013-06-24

Salesman Billy Falla is the best.  He worked so hard to show me all the types of cars I wanted to see and test drive.  He ran in the rain to find more keys, etc.  He suggested a car I hadn't thought of and that is the one I liked the best.
Then he introduced me to his boss, Tom Baldwin, and I am here to tell you: this guy is the best dealership manager I have ever met in my life!  He has absolutely NO sleaze-factor, if you know what I mean.
He and Billy were straightforward, extremely polite and professional, and made us understand exactly how we could save money and get a great car.

Bill Pierre Chevrolet employs the slimiest people I've ever encountered. My husband and I drove from Idaho to purchase a 2007 Honda Element we saw on Cars.com on April 22, 2013.

I hate this man. I tell him that I have an 800 credit score and could easily go to the bank and get a loan with a 3-4% APR. He gets cranky and tells me that because I removed the BS warranties, my interest rate is going to be sky high.

The car is yours." One of the 5 people (none of whom tell us their job title) they send to try to make us take the POS even tells us that if we want to leave, our only option is to take "our new car". These people are the worst. I've never encountered so many slime balls in one place. Finally, without a word, they give us our money and our trade-in back and we leave the hellhole.

My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing a used car from Bill Pierre Chevrolet is...STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SHYSTERS!!!  They are extremely high pressure and will lie and deceive you to make the sale.

My fiancée and I were really interested in test driving a Chevrolet Spark after much online research. We have been a big fan of the micro cars we have been seeing roll on to the market lately. The Spark reviewed well and looked just like what we were wanting for our very own.  I liked that we were able to set up a test drive through their website. A representative called us to confirm they had the car we wanted and pulled it up front. We were able to look at 3 different models of the Spark. We test drove two of these.

The gentlemen we worked with, Austin, was really friendly. He cracked jokes and chatted with us as if we were old friends.  I liked how open and low pressure he was. He did a good job balancing his sales push and our right to choose. He also did not make fun of my obsessive runs to check on our puppy in the car. They even let me to bring her inside after I ran back out for the 4th or 5th time.

We were able to quickly settle on an acceptable offer for the car. We were able to take the car home at the price my fiancée and I agreed we were comfortable with before going to the dealership. We rolled out of there pretty late, but did not mind. They helped us clear out our trade in and load things in to the new car. Overall I am really happy with the service we received. I have never bought a car before, but I admit I was not expecting to enjoy myself! Thanks Austin and Pierre Chevrolet for making my experience so pleasant.

Horrible experience! I went to bill pierre while on my recent search for a new car. I was first greeted by a young new salesman who had no idea what they had on the lot. We marched through the pouting rain for a good 5-10 minutes before he passed me off to an older salesman who made me feel belittled and pressured. He made me wait 10 minutes before coming back and telling me he didn't want to waste his time if I wouldn't commit to buying a car that day.

Kaycee G. | 2013-02-21

idiotically went there tonight to try to find a car within my super small price range. I don't know what I was thinking going to a big box dealership and expecting a car payment for less than $200. I worked with Bobby, who picked me up and drove me home since I don't have a vehicle. He was very friendly.. sales pitch was a bit pushy, but if you go to ANY car dealership expecting a lot less, you're nuts. it's a business, they wanna make money. I didn't leave with a car, although Bobby tried really hard to get me into a nice car that I test drove.. it was just a little out of my price range. My responsibility, not theirs.

All in all I'd visit this dealership again - just don't go in there without expecting a hard sales pitch.

This was the worst car shopping experience I've ever had. Pressure, pressure, pressure to get you out of there that day with a vehicle.
No good.

I have had an outstanding experience so far with Bill Pierre Chevrolet. In November it became time for me to get a new vehicle. I have had my new truck for just over a month now.

I'm a big man and after driving a Hyundai for just over 8 years I decided it was time for a new "man size" vehicle. I decided I would get a new full size pickup truck, needed to be an extended cab with 4x4 a plus. I started looking around and doing my homework. After talking to Ford, Toyota, Dave Smith and another north end Chevy dealer I went to the guys at Bill Pierre.

In my research I had stopped by the dealership in their off hours so I could see the trucks they had available on the lot in my own time. I stopped by Bill Pierre Chevy on a Monday afternoon. I sat down and got right to the point with their sales manager that was on duty at the time, Ron. I explained that within 30 days I'd be buying a truck, but it was not going to be today. No problem, within about 15 minutes they gave me a deal that they said was their best deal on the truck I told them I was interested in. The deal would be good for my 30 day time frame. It was a very low pressure experience. I ended up picking the truck up 4 days later.

In my research I was able to determine what to expect for best price for the truck I wanted, Bill Pierre nailed it. They also came in almost $2000 below Chuck Olsen who gave me a "best deal" price, UNLESS I was ready to by that day. All in all the guys at Bill Pierre have treated me professionally and with respect. Not once have I felt like they have been steering me wrong or dishonest with me in any way.

Like I said it's been about a month now since I got my new truck. The truck is great I am really happy with it. I have been back to the dealership a couple of times and the guys remember me by name. They have been really helpful with some parts I wanted to get for the truck. There was a manual for one of the additions I had them do when I bought the truck that got left out of my delivery package, they got me one promptly. I had a service call to have a bed-liner put in the truck. Very smooth and the job was well done. The service department contact was very professional.

I will absolutely see them again the next time I am in the market to buy a car.

Maria S. | 2012-12-09

I got the best deal and they were soooo helpful!  They definitely went the extra mile to get me the exact car I was looking for.  They showed me the cost of the car and let me  decide what was a good deal.  It was amazing!  By far the easiest car purchase I have ever made.  I will definitely go back.  We have three kids that are going to be driving soon...

Tracey F. | 2012-12-02

Don't do it!  Cannot say enough bad about these guys-shady dealing, high pressure , sloppy repairs, no transparency, horrible customer service, bad post-market work that was promised to be "like factory",  will never buy a car here  again-I did have  an awesome car buying experience at Bellevue Chevrolet that when compared was night and day-strongly recommend them instead

Tommy T. | 2012-08-03

We purchased a 2011 Suburban about 8 months ago.  The sales process wasn't the best and kinda cheesy.  It wasn't my first car rodeo and i'm in sales, so it was pretty easy for me to get to their level and negotiate a good deal.  Obviously they make more money on used cars vs. new so it was easy to get all the pricing info. via. internet research.  Having said that, the AC fan was making some noise so I brought it in yesterday to have it checked.  I dealt with Danielle Ross in the Service Department and I have to say it was one of the best customer service experiences I've had ever.  She was unreal from the first contact until she handed me the keys and I drove away.  My bill was only $21 bucks for rotating the tires, but regardless of the minimal cost, she went above and beyond the call of duty!!  She even buffed out some paint we had on the front bumper from clipping the side of our garage door opening.  I've had mercedes, BMWs and have dealt with other 'so called' high end dealerships, and she blew them out of the water.  If you need to deal with their service department, make sure you request her.  She should be running the place soon!  Hey Bill Pierre, make sure you give her a raise and keep that gal!!!

I worked for these people for 3 years and everything these negetive reviews say are absolutly true. They are liars thieves and will do and say ANYTHING to get you to buy a car. I used to hear the sales people talk about there customers saying things like "they dont even know what they are buying and im just trynna get this piece of shit off the lot" i even bought a car from here and i was told the car was 11,900 and when everything was said and done with the tax and interest the car was closer to 17,000!!! they also told me that "just refinance in 12 months" that is a complete lie! they always say that then when it comes time to do it they say they cant do that anymore the rules have changed. the only reason i even bought a car there was because i worked there and got a discount (lotta good that discount got me) i havent worked there in many years. I like everyone i worked with and had fun working there but i would never suggest buying from them. They truly live up to the phrase USED CAR SALESMAN. Please dont screw yourself over by buying from them.

Lisa A. | 2012-03-19

DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU'RE READY TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE THAT DAY.  THEY HOLD YOU CAPTIVE UNTIL YOU DO.  My husband and I went in yesterday, not intending to buy, but just to look.  Once a salesman met us in the lot, they had their hooks in.  First we looked, then we test drove.  Next thing we knew, we were at the bargaining table with offers being pushed in out face and a hand-drawn "X_____________" signature line.  The car salesman are very clever and phrase every sentence in a way that doesn't allow "no" as an answer.  They pushed a few different offers in front of us.  I told them I needed more time to think a few different times.  DURING NEGOTIATION, I ALSO REALIZED THEY TOOK OUR CAR KEYS TO ASSESS OUR TRADE IN.  SO WE COULDN'T LEAVE UNTIL THEY GAVE US OUR KEYS!  It's actually a really clever move, now that I think about it.  Funny.  As I was relaying the final "no", however, they came back with an offer that we couldn't pass up.

In the end, we left with a new car and are happy with the deal they offered.  However, the way deal went down and the pressure they put on us to buy a car was unbelievably whack.  We thought we would be in and out, but ended up spending 6 hours there.  Did we fall to the pressure?  Yes.  But, we're happy with the car itself, and we're grown adults responsible for our own decisions, hence 2 stars instead of 1.

Heather J. | 2011-12-17

Buying a car is never fun, but these reviews really scared me. Its not that bad. Its comparable to every other car place. I got my car here and am pretty happy over all. Dealt with many people at this establishment and everyone was nice enough. Although my favorite was the guy who took me for my first test drive, I think his name is Ross. It did take forever to get all the paperwork completed and it was fairly high pressure, but since I had been searching for a car for nearly a month I was used to car salesman and thier tactics. I also experienced a lot of non information over the internet and I think their advertising is a little suspect, but I got a car for a price I am happy with and some money for my trade in sight unseen. I wouldnt go so far as to recommned this as the best place ever to buy a car, but my last car buying experience at somewhere else in lake city was worse. Its just really not a pleasant thing to do. I hope I will continue to be happy using the service shop in the future.

dana s. | 2011-11-23

i get that car salesman are liars and manipulators.  i get that they see you as stupid and just want to make a sale.  but i had never truly felt this until calling this place.

i called them a couple days ago about a car advertised on craigslist with no pic or price.  i was instantly distracted with questions and was not given information on the car i called about.  he said he could not give me the price over the phone(?) yet told me all about a different car and told me the price of that car and told me all about how it had the same features (which after pulling up on their site, i saw it did not have the main thing i was looking for!).   then, today, i see the listing pop up again, this time with a price and photos.  i call again and talk to a different person who pull the same shit.  the car IS BAIT.  it does not exist.  this time i was told it was sold but i could still come look at it and another car that is similar....the person tells me i could still buy the car that has a deposit by someone else (?) and then talks for awhile about the car...when i confirm that we are talking about the car i called about, he says "no, that one is pending, we are talking about the (car i DID NOT call about)".   can you say MIND GAMES?  um, yeah, thanks.  i've dated plenty of assholes to know what being mind-fucked feels like.....and it feels like this.

They are baiting and lying to get you out there.   do not trust anything about them.

they are slimeballs, douchenozzles, toolboxes, and dirty slimy snakes.    guess who will NEVER get a penny from me?

Jack R. | 2011-11-03

The guys in the service department are all extremely nice and helpful! You have to pay more because they are a dealership, but they do a good job and usually have all the services done same day!

Have never purchased a vehicle from them, so I cannot comment on that portion, but if you're looking for a one stop shop to get services done, this is the place!!

When our daughter wanted a Chevy Cruze, we checked a few things out on the internet, then I called Bill Pierre Chevrolet in Lake City, the receptionist transferred my call to the sales department and Michael Thornton answered my call.  I told him I am shopping around for a new 2011 LS 1LT Cruze with the standard package.  He told me that he will find the car and will give me a call back in 20 minutes; he also gave me his cell phone to make sure I can get a hold of him anytime I needed.  Mike called me back soon after that and told me he found the car with the color we wanted and was ready for us to see him so I made an appointment and came in at 3:45 the same day.  When I came to see the car already parked in front of the showroom, but instead of seeing Mike, I met Mitch Edvalds because Mike had to deliver a car to Oregon.  I worked with Mitch, took a test drive and asked Mitch to point out every single feature of the car.  Mitch took his time and showed me everything I wanted to know before we sat down for negotiation.  Before we started I told Mitch that I'm ready to do business with him and asked him to be fair with me.  I also told him that no matter how hard he tired I will not buy the car if the price is more then I wanted to pay.  And likewise, he will not sell me the car if I do not make a reasonable offer.  From there it took less then 30 minutes to get the deal done.  While I worked with Mitch, the manager, Mitch Mattson, who is very knowledgeable, worked on my trade in and he paid me exactly what I wanted for the trade in - which was much better than two other dealerships.  Mitch M. figured all the numbers out for me such as my net cost, tax benefit for trade, etc.  In short, we are very satisfied and happy with the manager and sales persons who helped us at Bill Pierre Chevrolet.  If you read this review and want to buy a Chevrolet car I strongly recommend Bill Pierre Chevrolet and give Michael Thorton, Mitch Edvalds, or the manager, Mitch Mattson a call before you go.  I am sure you will have the same experience that we had! I've had so many painful car buying experiences that I expected this one to be the same but I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy this was. I knew exactly what pre-owned car I wanted and what I was willing to pay for it. I called up Bill Pierre and spoke to Mitch. We did the deal in about 2 minutes on the phone and for the first time, ever, I didn't feel like I was ripped off. We went to the dealer yesterday to drive the car and sign the papers if we liked it and drove away in our new car in less than 2 hours. We worked with Paul Young, who was friendly and professional and made sure we were never kept waiting. Matt in financing did the paperwork in a flash and Theo was helpful with helping me get to know my new car. Thank you Mitch and team for making this the best car buying experience I've ever had.
I highly recommend Bill Pierre Auto Centers!

Scary service:
03 Tahoe
Thinking that a Chevrolet dealer service dept was the one to fix the clunking in my steering (typical of GM's SUVs ) I had them replace a part to correct the problem. I asked to check out the brakes etc as well and call me before any work was done.

So service calls and states the front roters and pad need replacing for $650 and the rears same thing but I might wait a month or two. Also wipers needed replacing.

I said I'd would get another opinion and took it to Affordable Brake and Tire on Roosevelt.

Summation:
B Pierre was right on the front brakes but Affordable would do it for $450

I'd replace wiper blades about 2 months ago so....that in itself set off a few alarms. The rear brakes were fine with 60% remaining and likely would not need replacing ...ever.

Nice enough folks at B Pierre Chevrolet but the litany of items suggested for repair and big numbers for costs of each absolutely sent me running. Just plain dishonest. Caveat Emptor Amigos. Steer clear !!

Like most of the other reviewers, I would go with "0" if I could.  Wish I had yelped before buying my Tahoe there.  Got a "good" price if you included the promises -- but since none have been fulfilled -- my good deal turns out to be horrible.  Odd how you can't get any post sale responses to any questions.  I started getting service done at Lee Johnson on the other side of the lake.  Wish I had purchased there as they provide loaner cars to those who purchase there and thus the distance wouldn't have been a big deal.  I recommend staying as far away from Bill Pierre as possible and take the time to send a note to Chevy hqrts -- maybe Bill will be gone the next time Chevy downsizes.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was looking into buying a truck for my company and inquired with one of the sales reps who is charge of fleets. We were in conversation and then suddenly he stopped corresponding with me. I left him voicemails and emails and he never returned my call. Finally, I called the manager who was super unprofessional, explaining that he was really stressed out too. They didn't seem excited about the fact that they were still getting my sale (due to time constraints) and the manager told me to email all my information to a certain email address, when I sent the email it came back that the email box was full!! Are you kidding me? Unprofessional and rude. I will NEVER use them again. If you want good service go to the neighboring Good Chevrolet or Wilsonville Chevrolet, if I wasn't in a time crunch I would have much rather used either of them.
Also, no one seemed to know what was going on and they had entered information into the computer system wrong-a fact the manager shared with me on the phone!

I have to say  "DON'T BUY A CAR AT BILL PIERRE".  I knew what I wanted before I got there and told the guy this is what I want. They bring out a base model and tell me to drive that and then we can talk. Well strike one. Then they send me out in this fully loaded that has more then I want and they tell me 44,000 plus tax and all that shit. I told the sales manager that it was out of our budget and he goes on and on that it is only 4,000 more then the minivan we are thinking about. Strike two. No asshole its 8,000 more. I thought after this I would call the sales-man and tell him that I just can't buy from them because of the sales manager and he puts the asshole on the phone with me and tells me to go to Toyota. I hung up. Buying a car is stressful enough when you have kids you don't need more stress from an asshole.

I'm sure the 1-star reviews are well-deserved (it's a dealership, right?), but I had a great experience there a couple of weeks ago.  Bought a new remote locker for my car (got it online for about $20 cheaper than BP parts quoted me) and brought it to them to be programmed.  Was quoted $29-$49 over the phone, depending on "how long it takes for the program to get in there."  Okay, points off for not knowing how programming things work, and I expected the highest price.  S'okay, I can live with it.  Also expected some flak for bringing them a non-Chevy remote.  Made an appointment and rolled in.

Got there right on time, tell the guy at the desk what I need, hand him the new and original remotes.  He's super-friendly, points me to the lounge and tells me that it'll be a few minutes.  Cool.  I go and look at the ZR-1 in the showroom (no salesmonkeys descend on me, just polite inquiries into the status of my day), then settle down in the lounge.  I'm there for about a minute before the service guy comes in with my remotes.  Cool, how much?  "For that?  Ah, don't worry about it."  And that's it.  Great service, nice guy.  I'm very impressed.

For the record, I didn't buy my car from Bill Pierre, haven't been in there to have it worked on and the service guy didn't even ask my name or for any identifying info on the car.  Just gave some random guy off the street really, really good service.

I finally came out of lurking Yelp and signed up so I could further the one star reviews for this pitiful excuse of a dealership.

If it weren't for their sheer greed, and inconvenience I may not have looked so closely at Washington's anti bushing laws.  These people are crooks.  Don't listen to anything they tell you.

So far they've renegotiated a couple of times, back dated renegotiated contracts, provided my husband and I with two gasless vehicles based on verbal 'promise' to reimburse us, and we're not even finished with this nightmare.

Can't wait to find out how this will end!!!  =/

This review is for the service station at Bill Pierre Chevy. I also wish I could give this place a 0 star. I took my truck in there and said it was running sluggish and slow. About 8 hours later they called me and quoted me $4,500 for repairs and suggested that I trade my car in for "cash for clunkers" at the Chevy dealership.
Well I went in, got my truck back, paid the $110 service charge for them to look at my truck and left. I found another mechanic (My Mechanic on 99 and 96th) and they told me the problem was something other than what the $4,500 quote was for. So My Mechanic fixed my truck and gave me a bill for $450!!!!
Bill Pierre Chevy is a rip off. Go somewhere else for any of your auto needs.

UPDATE: It took follow up calls up the wazoo to get everything I was promised as a part of the deal. I bought the car in January and I still don't have everything yet. Lame.

I won't be back. Same place, different name. Now it's like Bill Pierre Superstore or some-shit. Doesn't matter. High pressure BS. I drive a PT Cruiser. I know that it's a pretty easy car to make fun of. I get it. I'm okay with it. I think it's a nice car to look at, myself. I'll live.
But having them be like "WE GOTTA GET YOU OUT OF THAT OLD LADY CAR-- HERE, CHECK OUT THIS KIA" is the most ridiculous, unprofessional garbage ever.

They got me on the phone in the morning, they told me that they'd be willing to work with my requests in terms of monthly payments and interest rates. They got me to go into the shop because they said they'd work with me. They couldn't. The only way they would was to offer me a KIA or a gas-guzzling, dead battery Pontiac. They tried to convince me that with my bad credit that i was LUCKY to be even looking at their cars.

Everything about what they said there rings false. Every last word.

Thank you Pierre Dodge Superstore or whatever you're called now. Now I know that I can't allow myself to be pushed around by false promises. That if I'm buying a car I should really and truly hold out for what I want. I won't be returning.

I've decided to add this review to Pierre Money Mart too because this is the new name for the place I went to. Not a penny to these people!

I wish I could give 0 stars.  Never in my life have i felt more pushed around.  These people kept telling my boyfriend and I that we have no other options, banks will laugh at us, that if we want a car we have to buy one from them.  Not only that, but they will only sell us a next to new car, still under warranty, for A LOT of money.  18,000 car (my boyfriend and I don't need a car this nice, we were thinking more in the 4-6,000 range),  at $500 a month for 72 months!  That's $36,000!!!!  They tell you that you wont need to stay in this expensive car, that after a 12 month period you can refinance and get into a more "high risk" car, aka affordable.  I talked to a friend after my visit who previously did buy a car from these people, she told me that this "12 month plan" is totally false, that they did not provide any of the services they talked about, or live up to any of their promises.  My boyfriend and I tried very hard to politely say that we had all the information we needed and that if we were interested we would call the next day, that so much money was something we would need to sleep on, not just be impulsive about.  They told us over and over that people just don't buy cars that way, everyone that comes into their establishment leaves with a car.  As we tried to leave, they sent in FOUR more men, one at a time to try to talk us into this car, lemme tell ya, if we we're planning to leave with a car that day, we did a great job haggling.  These people literally just wouldn't let us leave, it was over an hour after we told them we were leaving that they finally gave up and allowed us to.

To say these people put a bad taste in my mouth is really being too kind, but I think I'm just going to take the higher road in this situation and go with that.

I realize that some people have no choice but to go to a place like this, that their banks really have laughed at them and they are desperate for a car.  But please, please be smart about it.  Come very prepared, calculator in hand, these people talk very fast and throw out a lot of numbers.  They will try to get you to commit to a payment plan long before they will even show you a car, just say no, keep saying no.  They will leave the room to go call the "bank" and work something out.  I'm not as stupid as they assumed apparently, it was well after 8o'clock at night, the bank was closed.  Beyond that, I could see into the room they disappeared to!  All they're doing is talking to their boss.  They went and "called the bank"  three times!  Every time they came back saying this was the best they could do and their final offer.  Of course the final of the four men they sent in to talk to us was the "bank", the man i had seen through the window in the other office.  He ended up saying we could leave there with no money down (originally they told us no less than $1000 would be possible)  and no payment for 45 days.  If you need to buy a car from this place, settle for no less than that!  Don't let them push you around!  These are used car salesmen and nothing else!
