Worst Dealership Ever!... Scratch that- Worst BUSINESS Ever!

After losing my construction job last year, I was forced to take a break from College and take a full time job at a local grocery store. Needless to say, my income at ten cents over minimum wage was no comparison to what I was making as a finish carpenter, even if it was only at 30 hours a week.

Sure enough, I was struggling to stay afloat, and not long after, my truck was repossessed.

Then I found some saving grace. I was hired by a local insurance company and started seeing some "real" income for the first time in a year. The buddy whose car I'd been borrowing from needed it back and it was time for me to venture out into financing, yet again, another vehicle to use for my occupation.

North Seattle Auto Sales worked with my bad credit and were able to get me into a nice and relatively new car...

...for about a month.

They allowed me to make Three- $1000 payments in two week increments for my down payment. My final payment was due last week; and due to some unforeseen expenses, I was unable to make that payment. The sales rep that had originally sold me the vehicle said that they would accept the final payment the following week.

Unfortunately, his boss (whom I'd never met and whose name his employees were reluctant to give out) did not agree. Even more unfortunate was the fact that no one had enough courtesy to call me and tell me that he didn't agree.

I woke up this morning at 6:30 am to a message from a repossession company, left an hour earlier, informing me that they were taking my car and I could meet them downstairs in the garage to give them my key and get my things.

Needless to say, I hurried down to our parking garage only to find an oil stain in the empty spot in which I had parked my vehicle the evening before.

As if that wasn't a tough-enough pill to swallow, North Seattle Auto Sales didn't call me back until later on that day and informed me that I was being charged with the $500 towing fee.

All-in-all, steer clear of these guys! If you're in desperate need of a vehicle, you're better off buying a beater car with cash and working your way up. Don't trust these guys with your money, your vehicle, and your credit.

... Did I mention that after half a day, the check engine light came on, I realized the air conditioner didn't work (it was 50 degrees out the day I bought the car and didn't notice), one of the rims was bent and needed replacing, and I needed to replace the catalytic converter. None of which were covered by the extra warranty I purchased from the dealership... How convenient.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences of my life!

I bought a 2001 Volvo from these guys, but before buying I noticed the light for the "Check ABS brakes" was on. The deal was that they would fix the brakes for me. Dante the little chilupa, is very good at lying specifically, but also at making you feel calm so he can ease you into his trap. So I took the car home and he told me to bring the car back in two days, so they could fix the brakes. Well I get a call the day I'm supposed to bring it in, and he says that "They're so busy and can't fix it right now" ...I was planning on leaving on a road trip a couple days later, so he tells me to call him when I come back. I decide to be understanding and go with the flow.

I call him a week later and he tells me to bring my car in the next day. So I get there and he sees me when I first pull up, and like he had "forgotten", he scurries through the maze of cars, ignoring me, to go talk to someone. I follow him to the building and I'm like "????" and he's like "Yeah... So I don't know if we're going to be able to fix your car right now, we're so busy..." OK at this point I'm done being patient and lingered on. He catches my drift and gives me a Mazda 626 loaner. He tells me it should only take until Thursday to fix the brakes, and this was on a Tuesday. He tells me he would call me, and I leave. Well, now it's Thursday and I haven't heard anything about my car, so I decide to call. It just so happened that Thursday and Friday are Dante's days off. GREAT. So the rest of the douche bags there treat me like shit, when I'm just simply asking what is the status of my car. They were rude and acting like since they didn't get the commission and I was "Dantes client" I would have to talk to him. Talk about awesome customer service! SO, Saturday I call and talk to Dante. He tells me they had to ship a part to Idaho, and they are waiting for it to come back and that it should only take 3 days.

A WEEK GOES BY. Not one call from Dante. So I decide to start calling them every fucking day. They still tell me the same shit, "nope it's not here yet". Keep in mind I am a 22 year old female, buying my first car, Obviously I know nothing about cars, and at this point I feel completely taken advantage of... but just wait it gets better!
So now it's going on two weeks, and I'm still driving the loaner Mazda 626 when it overheats on the West Seattle Bridge. After I just put 15$ worth of gas in it. My boyfriend comes to my rescue, checks the water and oil, and the had NOTHING! he filled it with both, and we drove back to my house, but it continued to overheat. I called them and 2 hours later they sent a tow truck to pick it up, and I went back to the lot to get another loaner. I tell Dante I want to be reimbursed for the gas and oil, and he tells me when I come to pick up my Volvo he will "try" and get me some gas. So I agree, and his time they give me a Ford Focus piece of crap! The second I get on the freeway this car starts to overheat! I honestly couldn't believe it! I call Dante and he tells me to bring the car back and he'll give me another. This time they give me a Chevy Impala. I'm feeling comfortable because I've driven these before. All these loaners they've been giving me literally have zero gas, so I put 10$ in the Impala and I get on the freeway. The car was driving fine, but the second I got on main roads the car struggled and jerked like the transmission was slipping. I was so scared to drive the car, I call Dante up AGAIN, and he was like "Wow, well I had to pull some strings to get that loaner... but bring it back and I'll see what I can do."
Please keep in mind he didn't have to "pull any strings"!!! These "loaners" he was giving me, are the cars that have just been SITTING on the lot not getting sold! And for good reason!

I come back, my whole day ruined, I get not one apology and I still maintain somewhat nice because after all they still have my car, and could possibly mess with it if I was out of control. I told Dante I had just put 10$ in that car, and again, he tells me he'll get me some gas. He gives me the keys to a Honda Accord with a maintenance light on, and this was on a Sunday so they were closing up for the day. I just wanted to get home, so I leave the lot, of course I have to stop at the gas station because the tank is past empty...and 4 days later Dante calls and leaves a message that my car is done. Interesting how a part that was supposed to take 3 days to come back, took two weeks. I call Dante to remind him about the gas, and he says the mechanic put some in. Finally I get to my baby and I see that my tank is half full just like when I left it. It was Dante's day off, so I talk to Ron about the gas I was promised. He didn't care one bit about the horrible ordeal I had just went through, and brushed me off, saying "You'll just have to talk to Dante when he comes back on Saturday" I go back to my car and I see a big tube thing in my backseat
