A& E has kept both my old 240 volvos running, i am completely grateful to them for working until they find the problem, and it has been some strange problems, far better than the 'volvo' repair place in west seattle, i never feel like i am being rooked at A & E.

I live just a couple miles away and have been here a few times. They are always really nice and get what I need done quickly. The price is always lower than I'm expecting for car repairs and they never do more than I need. They are honest and do good work!

I tried their shop since they just  opened  in1999. They are really honest and their price are reasonable. I have 94 honda accord,  my mechanic said that it need the clutch job and it would cost me about  $600 but when I towed it to them, it cost me only $110 to replaced the clutch slave cylinder.

I live a few miles up the road from this place and they were highly recommended to me.  I had the check engine light on my 96 Lexus come on and wanted to have it checked.  I think it was $70 for the analysis..turned out I needed some work on my EGR system.  Not being the Automotive Repair type...I got the quote and it sounded reasonable.  They told me they should be able to finish it that day and would call me when it was done.  No call (minus 1 star), so I called them and they told me that it wasn't the EGR Vacuum it was the VSV valve, I could go used/refurb or new (difference was about $40).  I got the new quote (still reasonable) and told they would get it done the next day, they would call me when it was done.  No call (minus one star) I decided to drop by since it was on my way home (actually, they called me as I was walking in the front door but I was annoyed by this point in time since she was only returning my previous call to their voicemail).  Car was done and ready to roll.  Total damage $250 plus tax out the door with analysis and work done.  Good price and the car is running fabulous again, but customer service is a bit lacking.  I might bump them up to four stars if I use them again and they repairs are done well but, have to wait and see.

I live in the neighborhood and have taken my car there several times. I have found the service very quick (usually same day), and the prices reasonable.  Sometimes it is difficult to understand the Vietnamese accent, but they nice folks, and I always get the work I need without problems.

Contrary to what I read, I actually had a very good experience here.  I too live literally across the street, and after an accident with my girlfriend's car, we took it here.

It's definitely a mom & pop shop, so keep that in mind if you try it.  The wife runs the waiting room, her husband handles the shop.  Their kids hang around too, which can be annoying when the baby starts crying, but I can't hate.

There is a little dialect barrier, but if you just take your time and clarify what you're hearing she has no problem explaining things.  The work was fast and definitely affordable.  We had to replace a broken lower control arm, parts + labor + tax was only $166.  And he finished it in the same day.

Seems like a good deal to me.  I don't know how well their engine & electrical work is, but if it's just straight mechanical (suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc.) they seem to do a pretty good job. For the price and convenience, a good deal.

No, I don't work there.

This place sucks. I live literally across the street and they told me I would have to have my car towed to them to fix it after the ignition they had put in a little over two months before bit the dust. They are actually even downhill, the a-holes could've rolled my car the 100 feet over there.

I suppose I should've known when while I was in the lobby there was some guy belligerently yelling at the owner about what a sh*tty job he did fixing his girlfriend's car (or not fixing it, I suppose).

I really would love to tell you to go to my current mechanic who is nice, honest and reasonably priced, but he's busy enough as it is and I'm selfish.
