Reviews on Lexus of Richmond

Nothing but good service at this dealership. My boyfriend and I were skeptical at first when we saw all the yelp reviews for this place but after our visit, we totally disagree with all the negative reviews. Maybe this dealership improved their customer service since seeing all these negative reviews?

I know a lot of previous complaints was that no one paid attention to them when they walked in but I'm not really sure how that could happen. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the receptionist. We had made an appointment and our dealer, Rick Fox, was already waiting for us in the lobby. He immediately took us to the car we were looking for and let us test drive it. After the test drive, an appraisal offer was made on our trade in car. They offered $500 less than Carmax but when we mentioned this, Rick helped us get a price match to save us the hassle from having to go back to Carmax!

Rick got everything done for us in less than 2 hours! Our new car is ready to be picked up in 2 days and we're totally excited! I'm really glad we made the choice to come here.

Who goes to a dealership for servicing and comes out with a $50 gas card and new key chain??? So what if I had to take care of a couple of recalls...they got fixed, free of charge, and I got paid to as a way to say, "thank you for bringing in your car and selecting to drive safely!"  To top it off, I didn't come out with a list of expensive maintenance recommendations.  One of the first few happy car maintenance trips I've taken throughout my years of owning cars. Lastly, the people are friendly, professional, and considerate of your time.

I'm with Kelly R on this one.  I've had nothing but fantastic service at Lexus of Richmond. They are total professionals and don't leave me waiting like other dealerships. They are the only Lexus dealership in all of Richmond. They could use this to their advantage or use it to ruin the Lexus name. In my opinion, Lexus of Richmond uses this to make the Lexus brand shine.

Today was my first "check-in" through Yelp but I've been here several times before.  Specifically 9/6/2013 and 11/18/2013. On both of those dates Robert Jennell has always taken really good care of me. He's great like others have said. I'm truly shocked that people are having such problems with the service department.

This morning while I was standing there waiting for Robert a lady immediately attended to my needs. I was speaking with a different service associate within seconds because Robert was out.

I'm not one to write soft review and I did have a brake issue last year. I had the rotors replaced and new pads put on. The brakes squeaked like crazy and I waited about a month to see if it would go away on its own. It didn't, so I brought the car back in for service. Did I have to get all huffy and accusing and throw a temper tantrum like some child? No I did not. I calmly told Robert that the brakes squeal like crazy and if he could have his guys take a look. They ended up replacing the rotors and pads at NO CHARGE. We never even talked about money; it got done for free because the previous work used old part numbers.

On another occasion I used my extended warranty to replace the passenger side power window motor and that was an excellent experience.  This morning the purpose of my visit is factory recalls. I'm getting 3 things serviced for my particular vehicle. I do NOT hand out 5 star reviews easily (as you can see) but I feel Lexus of Richmond earned it with me.

If I encounter a bad experience you can believe a 1 star updated review will follow. Good luck out there fellow Lexus owners!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this dealership. I have been taking my lexus here for years and I always feel I get treated with the utmost respect.

Robbie Jennell was my most recent service advisor and he was so calm and helpful. It's nice to feel respected and listened to. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a service advisor at this dealership.

If you are looking to buy a car Rick Fox is amazing.  He listens to you, does not push you and provides you the right amount of information and space to think about your potential purchase.

Many times when I look for cars I feel pressured and the sales person spends more time telling me what I want instead of just listening to what I want.

If you are looking for a place for service or to buy a new or used car... You want to start here! They have made me a Lexus owner for life.

Wow. I am leaving Lexis very disappointed. I walked into the showroom and was not acknowleged by anyone at the desk. I walked over to the models and spent some time in and around one car in particular. Not one person walked over and said good morning or even asked if I had any questions.

I am going to save my questions and interest for a Lexus dealership that is interested in my business. Very disappointing.

Stopped by Lexus of Richmond to look at some CT200h models and was completely floored that in the 30 minutes or so I was walking around and in the showroom sitting in and going over the model on their floor that none of the employees even bothered to greet or even acknowledge my presence. I even made eye contact with a few walking around.

Very poor service. I brought my LS460 in to have an oil leak repaired and the car serviced. I was told i needed to replace ONE tire and the oil leak was a seal that was not replaced the last time the oil was changed so they changed the oil and replaced the seal. Close to $900. The oil leak continued so I brought it back again. This time, I was told it was o-seals and valve and that my water pump needed replacing because it was leaking. I had that fixed even though I never asked them to look at the water pump.Hundreds of dollars more spent. The oil leak is still there. When I called to tell them the oil is still leaking, the service person would not commit to fixing it without charge. At this point, I am not going to EVER use Lexus of Richmond again. I do not trust them and I paid close to 2 thousand dollars to fix an oil leak that is not fixed.

Had a great experience with Service Advisor: Robert Jennell.

He was pleasant, courteous, informative and very approachable.  He came by the waiting area to give us updates of the car several times throughout the process.  We knew when the car would be done throughout our time in the dealership.  Best expereince we have ever had at a car dealership!!

You'd think if you were going to call your cars luxury you would have your service match. My experience has been anything but luxury. Their service waiting area is alike a run down 90s prison and their staff has to be some of the rudest "I'm just here to do a job" people in town.

Very poor service! Does not acknowledge you when entering dealership. Service representatives always preoccupied. Work not done right first time on several visits. Forgot to put back wheel lock key and properly inflate tires!
