Hands down one of the best service experiences I've ever had.  Incredibly honest, and customer focused.  Had been told by another service center that I needed a long list of maintenance and repairs.  They  checked out my vehicle (I gave them the list i had been provided by the other service provider, which they could see on some type of central data system) and concluded that most of the items were not necessary.  They were so helpful and friendly.  Huge fan now!!

The first time I brought my car in, they made me wait an hour before they told me they didn't have the part I needed and couldn't fix the problem. When I brought my car back a few weeks later, they told me it would take an hour but it took two. Bottom line: prepare to wait longer than expected. However, I do have to say the staff is friendly.

Our dreaded Camry Check Engine light came on. Advance Auto gave us a free code read (which may not include all the data the Toyota dealership can see). It was a cylinder #1 misfire, and since we had a trip coming up 3 days we took it to the dealership for fastest, most accurate repairs in spite of a low-ish Yelp rating at the time. They got us in and out quickly to meet our schedule. Nice.

They charge a shocking $110 just to read the code, but it can be applied to your bill if you do the repairs with them.

The bill was $65 more than quoted. When I asked about it, they said they charged for parts that should have been included. 3 minutes later the bill was corrected and paid.

The next day, on the trip, that Check Engine light came on again.
Advance Auto: same code (misfire cylinder #1).
Taking it back, Haley was apologetic, found something else wrong, said it was cylinders #1 AND #2, made the new repair and discounted it $100. So we paid for two repairs.
I had previously replaced the spark plugs myself, so I asked if it was caused by wrong/bad plugs? They checked them for free and said they were just fine, no change needed.

They were courteous and fast, I was left with mixed feelings about service/billing accuracy, and always a bad taste in my mouth about Toyota policy on charging outrageously for a service code reading, but that's a Toyota thing. so I'm considering buying a Ford next time since their engineering is becoming excellent. For this Camry, I will again try Haley Toyota next time and report back how it goes.

I bought my car at this dealership 9years ago and have been servicing it here ever since. They get me in and out very quickly. Would highly recommend Haley Toyota.

I take my wife's car here for service once in a while and it never fails, everytime I go in there I see and hear the service writers arguing about what a customer did or how it was the other person's job to handle the situation and it's very unprofessional to do that where people can see and hear you talk about customers like that.

I also saw a service writer tell a customer what the technician recommended but didn't make it sound important that it needed to be done. All they said was "Well, it's up to you if you want to do it or not, it's not up to me." I mean if I'm recommending an important service to someone, and they can't do it or afford it right now, I would let them know that it's okay if they can't do it now, say it should be done soon and that they are always here whenever they are ready to get it done. That might make me dish out the extra money to get it done sooner than later.

The only thing I've had an issue with is that they tell me my car will be done in 1 hour but 2 hours pass and no one has said anything to me. This gets really irritating because it's happened twice, but not just with this Haley, Haley Buick and Haley Toyota on Hull st. If it's going to take 2 or more hours than tell me that and I'll go do something else instead of wait in the customer lounge

I like Haley certified because their prices are competitive but man their customer service really needs help

I bought an SUV from Haley Certified last December and have been VERY happy with the service they provide me. I had a small issue with a tire and with no questions asked they swapped it out despite my warranty having just expired. Super nice group of people. I recommend shopping at Haley!

I found a car on their website that I thought would be a good fit for my wife, but she works in the evenings, so I was struggling to find a way for her to drive it.  I called and explained my situation to Michael O'Hare, and he offered to stay a little late so she could drive the car.  We arrived at about 7:05 and took the car for a spin, only to find out that my wife hated it.  As we were heading back into the showroom she saw a Nissan Murano that caught her eye, and even though it was 45 minutes after they had closed Michael let us take that one out and test drive it.  My wife was immediately in love with the car, and since it was too late to arrange for financing, Michael allowed us to take the car home and come back the next day to fill out the paperwork.  The entire process was quick and painless, and my wife commented on the way home that Michael was the first person she'd ever bought a car from who she felt like cared about her being happy rather than just how much money he could make from the transaction.

Car owner BEWARE. This was hands down the WORST repair shop I ever had the misfortune to use.  The repairs were sloppy and had to be redone.  They missed repairs that needed to be done. They CREATED problems that weren't there before (yes, I'm sure) then refused to fix them and denied having anything to do with them. They were rude when they bothered to talk to me but provided no communication even after being past their own deadline by 10 days.

I went back to Royal collision and will never go anywhere else.

On July 19th of this year, I sold my car to Haley Toyota Certified Center. I went the dealership route because I needed to get rid of my car payment and I figured this would be the fastest way to sell. I was wrong.
After 2 months of dealing with the CA and VA dmv's because of a clerical error on someone's part, I STILL have not gotten paid for my car (I'm owed about $5500).
I found out last week that Haley Toyota has SOLD MY CAR without the title and STILL has not paid me. They are working with the CA dmv to get the title, but have no eta on when they will receive it and when I will get paid. Rand, the sales manager at the Midlothian store, is the one I have been dealing with and was quite rude to me on the phone when I questioned him on why my car had been sold and I hadn't been paid. He told me they sell cars "all the time" without titles (this is illegal in VA).  I have spoken with Rand and Michael at the dealership and Melissa (titles department).  I even looked up the comptroller's name (Carolyn Barron) and contacted her directly after the dealership said she was the only one that could issue a check and then flat out refused to give me her name and phone number (thankfully, I knew how to find this information out through other means).  When I mentioned speaking to my attorney, I was given the sarcastic "I'd love to speak with him" line, obviously assuming that because I don't have money, I don't have an attorney.  Newsflash: even poor people have friends in high places.  My attorney was SHOCKED when I told her what the dealership had done (and continues to do) and we will take this to court if necessary.
I will be letting everyone I know in on their extremely shady business practices via Yelp, Angie's List, FB....and since my last job was in search engine optimization, no reason I can't go ahead and set up my own website so that whenever anyone searches for "Haley Toyota" or even "car dealerships Richmond" my experience with them will be one of the first results they see.
If you are looking to buy or sell a car, STAY AWAY from Haley Toyota.

The sales team is great but the service department is terrible. Harry in service tried to charge me over $200 to perform a repair that was covered by warranty. WATCH OUT FOR HARRY IN SERVICE HE WILL SCREW YOU IF HE CAN!!!!

I had the BEST service of my car-owning life this week at Haley Certified! They rotated my tires and changed my oil, and even fixed an issue with my car that another dealer caused. They listened to my questions, answered them thoughtfully and didn't try to sell me services I didn't want or need. Plus, everyone there is personable.

What a great experience! You're missing out if you don't start using Haley.

I've always had a good experience here for my toyota corolla and come regularly for oil changes and various repairs. Maybe the prices are cheaper elsewhere but not by much. Here I feel that they will do the job right and the correct parts are readily available. Plus everyone is very nice!

Good service and great staff. I took my 06 Prius in for service and was very pleased with my experience here. Raman was very helpful and professional. I would recommend this service center to anyone.

I took an hour off work on Friday to come over so they could verify which part to order.  I came in at 8 AM today for my appointment and was told at 10 AM that they ordered the wrong part.  4 hours of my time wasted and car still not fixed.  Extra star is for the apologetic employees at the service counter, otherwise this would be a one star review.

I took in my 1999 Sienna (purchased by me at Haley in 99), because the ignition was making a clicking sound and every now and then, didn't engage. Haley Service on Midlothian said it was a computer chip, they replaced it for around $330.  Got the car back, next day, it did the same thing. Clicked when I turned the key, didn't start, but later did start.  Took it back.
This time the service department said the ignition starter was bad and the whole unit cost $540 for the part.  I asked what it was going to be the third time I brought it back, picked up the car and took it to Richmond Imports on Broad Street.
The RI people said the contact with the starter was worn. Small repair. Cost $166 with labor. Showed me the worn contact. Said Toyota Siennas have this issue on older ones (which mine is), but that the whole ignition rarely fails. If the problem had been the ignition, the key wouldn't have turned at all.
I will never take any of our Toyotas (we have 2) to Haley for service ever again. They're either incompetent or ....I won't use the word I want to use.
This all happened in June, 2011.

We bought a 2009 Yaris from Haley in Dec 2008. The car is great, gets good mileage.
One of the perks was their "Rewards Card" - you basically earned points for maintenance service performed. Points were calculated based on dollars spent. It was a nice program. We were able to save a few bucks from the couple of times we took the car in. There never was mechanical trouble but the manufacturer built in all these digital 'reminders'. Every time the car's odometer nears one of the recommended milestone maintenance inspections (e.g., 5000, 10000, etc), the 'Maintenance Required" light will flash when the car starts for the next hundred miles or so. As you get to the milestone mileage, the light stays on all the time. Basically, you take the car in to get the light turned off.
Well, last time in, we were told that the dealer had done away with the 'Rewards Card'. We had a few dollars left from the previous visit (no points earned from the current visit) that were applied to our bill. That was nice - we were able to use up our points, but it was very disappointing to learn that the program was canceled.
