I have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership and have had them all serviced there.  Each time, I have been treated well, been extremely satisfied with the service and have been given courtesies that I do not believe are given at any other dealership.  I had my car in for a very complicated repair, and the service manager allowed me to keep my loaner car for an extraordinarily lengthy time without one question.  They are knowledgeable, prompt and polite each time I come in.

Great customer service!!!! I have been to another dealer in the area that completely wasted my time. Brandon Scott was waiting for me and had the car I was interested in ready and warmed up for me when I arrived. (Important on a record setting cold winter day!) Brandon had a great deal of knowledge about the model. He was great to work with and straight forward and I would not hesitate to return. Everyone including finance and the manger were helpful and friendly. This was a great experience and I would recommend this dealership! Brandon Scott will take good care of you!

The Crown Acura Service Department is a living nightmare.   I brought my vehicle to be checked out here and was told that among other things I needed an alignment.  When I told them that the tires were brand new and I had documentation of their proper alignment I was told "oh, well tire wear can be deceptive"... so can sales tactics.  They also found a problem with the VTEC sensor in the engine.  When my vehicle was finally ready, six days after I dropped it off it did not even make it off the lot.  I got in the car and was promptly told to turn off the car and get out by some near by staff.  The radiator had burst and was leaking fluid everywhere.  I finally was able to speak with the Sales Manager, who I had requested a call back from four days ago.  He told me, along with my Service Coordinator that they did not work on the radiator and they would have to look at the car before they could determine if they could fix it.  I was also told that my message about "the sky falling" was received, I guess it was just ignored.  I was also told to "take a different perspective on the situation, it isn't life or death".  I guess that was a joke since I was on break from the hospital and in scrubs.  It wasn't funny, appropriate, or polite.  They fixed the radiator by Friday and said that it was a rusty connection that must have burst when I started the car...  They never took the blame nor did they offer a discount on the $1000 service I had initially brought the vehicle in for.  I have told everyone I can about this recent debacle and have cost Crown Acura four new car sales and their sister BMW dealership a long time customer.  A physician that had purchases three vehicles from the BMW dealership brought a new car within three weeks of this experience and refused to go back to the Crown Dealership.  Of the over a hundred people I interact with at work on a daily basis none of them will consider purchasing or servicing their vehicles here after my experience, except for the few who own Acuras still under warrantee who do not have a choice.  I may have been burned but there hopefully you learn from my experience.

I can only comment on my car buying experience; which for as complicated as it was, has gone relatively easy.

Brandon in sales has really gone out of his way to support me on purchasing a car from their lot from all the way across the country, sight unseen.  He even drove the car to a competing dealer for inspection!  But wait.. there's more...... The team at Crown Acura called the person who traded in the car to contact me to answer my questions and put me at ease about making a purchase from 2800 miles away.  At least where we come from, that is called GREAT customer service.

Hayton Jones is an exemplary sale associate at Crown Acura: industrious, enthusiastic, engaging, honest, thoughtful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional.
A true credit to your organization!
In fact, it is those qualities which helped influence our decision to buy not just one but two (a 2015 Acura MDX SH-AWD with tech. package, etc.; and a 2004 Acura TSX) vehicles on the same evening (Dec. 17, 2014). We would happily recommend him to any of our car-buying family and friends.
Our car-buying experience with him; along with the kind, fair, and able assistance of his general manager Alex Lutz and finance guy Tim S.; was the easiest and most pleasant by far (and we have bought 6 vehicles, all but one Hondas, in the last 22 years). It is respectful, fair, and honest service like this that would make us lifelong Crown Acura patrons. Of course, service after the sale is the truest test of all. Stay tuned!

Very poor service experience.  Dropped off late Tues, picked up late Sat.

Work completed: ZERO

Didnt get it into shop til Fri.  No phone calls to inform on status, assessment results, nothing!

Total waste of time.  Last time I'll EVER use this place.  DONE.

great customer service with every person we encountered at Crown Acura. David was extremely knowledgeable about the car and all its' features, very impressed. there are two different Tim's and they were both very helpful and patient - again, very knowledgable. we drove out of town to look at a specific car they had for sale and had to return a second time to complete the purchase, so they offered to fill the gas tank in the car we drove up in, which really went above and beyond (even though we didn't take them up on it as the tank had just been filled). thanks!!

Tried to do a deal here but they wouldn't budge.  Found a dealer in Falls Church who did the same deal for a few thousand less.

Handled the issues with tact and sympathy for the new Va residents, me, first encounter with the Va auto inspection law.

Here is my rational for my rating of the "Crook Acura of Richmond"
1) They would not honor a valid and non-expired coupon they mailed me for a brake job when I take my car for that service.
2) They mislead me into turning my perfectly fine rotors falsely stating that turning was a required step mandated by American Honda Motor Co. I've since then checked with AHM's client relations who confirmed that turning the rotor is required only when brakes have certain symptoms like shudder or noise; neither of which existed on my vehicle. The process involves shaving off metal from the rotor thus shortening its life and more prone to warping due to frictional heat.
3) They only topped off the brake fluid when the work order clearly states "Install New Brake Fluid" which would make any reasonable customer like me believe that they were going to drain old brake fluid before installing new one...
Has the greed to make quick bucks made them stoop down to the level where they can put people's lives at danger by compromising the #1 safety feature on an automobile?
