We were on a road trip from Elko to Park City when our companion car noticed something hanging from the bottom of the car. It turned out the skid plate was left loose from an oil change by another place from earlier In the day. The service tech immediately got under the truck and tightened the loose bolts and sent us on our way at no charge! We were back on the road in 10 minutes.

We have a 2006 Ford F-350 Dually is washed and waxed like a garage queen and worked like a rented mule. Anyway, while hauling an extremely heavy load the thermostat went out on the truck and it overheated. User error. Anywho, since it was needed for work we sent it to LHM to be serviced the next morning. After a few brief phone calls the deal was done. The head work took a little longer than we liked but we were ok with the timeframe. Within two weeks of getting it back the gaskets completely blew. And the truck was hauling no weight whatsoever and no check engine lights were on. We were guaranteed that the work was done right and they would stand behind the work.... Imagine our surprise when they said that since the truck was used for hauling skid steers and construction equipment... They could not warranty the work. Liars. Anywho, yet again we needed the truck asap and they already had the truck in their shop so we made a huge mistake and let them work on our truck again. We were guaranteed that the work would take a week and a half at max.... Haha liars... Took three and a half. We borrowed a friends diesel to do the work we needed. After picking it up we thought we might as well check the fluids and do a quick inspection on her since these guys don't exactly know their way around a wrench. Imagine our surprise that they used *drum roll* 10w-30..... What the hell LHM. A 6.0 uses 15w-40. We called them and they asked us to bring the truck in to them to verify the problems and a water leak they were also supposed to fix that they didn't yet charged us for. The hell we were going to pay for oil and gas to take it to these scam artists. We eventually convinced them to take the truck back on a tow truck and asked that they bring us a truck that can handle weight since yet again, we needed that diesel. Imagine our surprise when they brought us a POS early 2000's F150 (which we drove like a rented mule and off roaded on it like we stole it). Eventually the truck was fixed..... After two more visits that should of never happened. We laughed right in their faces when they asked how their service was and if we would like to work out a deal on a new diesel truck. From now on we will be taking the diesel to Henry Day. These scum do not deserve business.

Worst experience I have ever had trying to buy anything. I walked in with my checkbook fully intent on purchasing a new vehicle. What I experienced was the worst customer service imaginable. Then when I said I needed to think it over for a night, I was basically yelled at for not signing a deal right then and there. I still wanted the vehicle and did not want the hassle of going to another dealer so I talked to a salesman who quoted me a price.

I gave a deposit over the phone based on the price and when I got there, he first tried to change the price without me noticing. He blatantly lied to me about the price. When I got there, I wrote a check for a LARGE sum of money (about a third of the cost of a new F150). After being lied to multiple times and experiencing horrible customer service even from the manager, I told them I was not going to purchase the vehicle. They said my check was already in the vault and they would void it the next day and I would also receive a credit to my credit card the following day.

A few days later, no credit to my account and they actually deposited the check!!!!!!!! As you can imagine I was not happy that they had deposited such a large check that I was assured would be voided the following day. When I called the manager, he said it would be at least 10 days until they could write me a check for the amount. I can't imagine how much worse a car buying experience could be. I happily drove down to Ken Garff Ford and wrote them a check. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. I too read negative reviews on here but decided to go there anyway. What a mistake. All they had to do was be honest and nice to me and I would have happily bought a vehicle.

I specifically made an appointment to have my vehicle looked at but was told they were too busy and I would need to wait. 45 minutes later they looked at my vehicle. An hour and a half later they did replace a switch that I am sure took a total of 5 minutes to replace.  The issue I am most upset about is that they did not ask if I wanted my vehicle washed.  They took it upon themselves to do it anyway. My vehicle was perfectly clean when I arrived.  I spend 30 minutes when I got home cleaning of all the water spots and polishing my wheels.

If I could take away stars I would.  Jason Rowland and his staff treated me and my wife so terribly I can't even begin to express it properly.  The truck that we bought was in no way close to the truck that we were sold.  And attempts to contact anyone for answers just led to frustration and unanswered phone calls and messages. Stay away from Larry H Miller Super Ford... Larry H Miller himself would turn in his grave if he knew what they were doing with his name.

I bought my ford SUV at this place in fall 2013. My car buying experience at this dealer is awful. The finance manager I met was very arrogant, and showed no respect to me as a customer. Even worse, they are dishonest and dare to lie to sell you the car.

They, both the sales rep and the finance manager, promised that a one year car maintenance package was included in the deal when I did the paper work. After I got home, I realized that they did not provided a written document for the maintenance. So I called back and email the sales rep but never got any reply. Last week I planed to change oil for the first time after I got the car so I called the LHM ford service, and was told that they indeed did not have my name in there record for free first year maintenance. The service rep promised to have the finance manager to call me back but it of course never happened. (And I am also not surprised to find out that the sales rep, Ray, who sold me the car did not work there any more, when I asked to speak with him on the phone.)

However, the service rep told me that as a courtesy, I could have my oil changed at their place for free for the first service. But after reading all the reviews from customers with similar experiences on yelp, I think walking away from this place is the best option! They are without honor! They deserve only half a star!

I brought my RV based on a Ford Chassis into the dealership to have an oil change and have the A/C checked out. I parked the RV and started to walk into the service department. Not a single person acknowledged my arrival, so I finally bothered someone who told me they were not the right person. I eventually made it to my service advisor who could not find my reservation. After I was checked in, he found my reservation ... on a sticky note (I had made my reservation a week prior).

They changed the oil in the promised timeframe and checked the A/C as requested. The cost was reasonable but my experience here was "meh", they are just another large dealership with employees who seem to not care.

If you want to have an awful, painful, and complicated car buying experience then go to Larry H Miller! My husband and I recently bought a car here and totally regret buying from them. The car is nice but it was a disaster!  They will wheel and deal you! They are exactly the kind of people that give "car salesmans" that BAD connotation!

Their first offer had NO incentives or discounts so BEWARE they want to screw you over! I had to step in as the tough one in the relationship & really push these guys to do anything for us! They were cocky, rude, demanding and will out right lie to you to get you to buy. My husband will pay for poop if left alone so I had to take the reins which made the two salesmen upset :)

Why did we even buy from them? They had the exact car my husband wanted.

Now to the good part, they had to fix something on the car and we were told it would be ready in 2 days (Monday). Well 2 days came and went and they told us another two days (Wednesday). The new car still wasn't ready and they told us 2 more days (Friday). By this time my husbands plates expired and he was driving on expired plates :/ It had been a week after we purchased the vehicle.

I finally had to call and seriously rip him a new one. I told them they kept putting us off and giving us timeframes they can't even come close to committing to. That they should get themselves to work and really stand behind their customer service and work ethic! What does he tell me...? "Just give us 2 more days please." Ya, I was pissed. Then my phone died which is good cause I might have cursed at him. He called my husband and said they understood why I had called and they offered him a rental car till the new one was ready.

When my husband went in they were apologetic (finally) and gave him the rental. The car was done Monday or Tuesday if I remember correctly. Which was at least a week behind schedule. If not for me having to call in and demand someone to actually work it would have taken weeks!

I'm sorry but this place is ridiculous. The buying experience was a headache, the customer service was awful, & the car mechanics are lazy. I will NEVER EVER go back to LHM.

This was my first time I went to LHM Super Ford and out of all the dealership service shops I've been to this one is the best in SLC, NAY! Utah. They offer some of the best lube and oil packages and if you have an old beater like mine or a new top of the line sports car, all I can suggest is give them a try. The service is awesome, fast and It doesn't hurt that it's a few blocks from my home.

Another trip to the Larry Miller, and yet another positive experience. I came during a busy time and my car was serviced fast and friendly. I also had a great experience with the parts people. I needed some parts for my Mazda which I thought they might not have? And they had everything I needed. I love coming here for my car stuff. Because they always treat me right. I will be back when I need anything else for my car.

This is the place to go when you need to get some work done on your car and you can trust that they will do it right! (the first time too!) Everytime I go in, (which is alot!) everyone is super nice from the guys showing me into the bay or the awesome guys and gals at the counter taking my money. Great place to come and simply get your oil changed or to get some major work done! Screw the jiffy lube and les schwabb, Larry H Miller Super Ford all the way! YEAAAAHHH!

My car overheated and check engine light came on during my vacation (was traveling by car) on June 18, 2013. We added water to the car and it was running fine, but the check engine light remained on. I was nervous about the car and wanted to get it looked at so that we didn't break down in the desert on our way to Arches National Park. We were outside of Salt Lake City so I called Larry H Miller Ford Dealership on Tuesday June 18th at 1:07pm and made an appointment for 10:00am on June 19, 2013 to get my car looked at. I figured going straight to the dealership would be best since I was traveling and they should know the car (its a Ford Focus) and they would have the parts, etc. When I arrived on the 19th they said they did not have me down for an appointment (I definitely called & made one the day before) but they did find someone to look at the car. We spoke with Steve in the service department. He said they would check everything out on the car. Steve called later that afternoon and said the thermostat housing was leaking and would need to be replaced. He said this was not a fun thing to replace and would cost about $300 for parts plus $300 for labor. I was really devastated at the cost but reluctantly agreed to this repair as we were traveling and did not want to break down and Steve was confident this would fix the car. Steve called later in the day and said that the car was not fixed yet and needed a radiator that would cost an additional $300 for the part and $300 for the labor. I called a mechanic friend back home who told me not to agree to this as he thought it sounded like they did not know what was wrong with the car and were just guessing and throwing expensive parts and labor at it. We paid the 598$ bill and left and the car was in worse shape than when we brought it in as now the car was overheating as soon as we got on the freeway. We took the car down the street to JMAC complete car care which specializes in radiator & cooling systems. After they did a lengthy diagnostics on the car determined that it did not need a radiator and did not need the thermostat & housing replaced and that I should ask for a refund from Ford. JMAC said they would be happy to assist me and offered to speak directly with Ford if they had any questions. JMAC was very honest and upfront with me about the car, and I plan to give them a good review, but I can not say the same for this Ford dealership. I would not recommend anyone go to this Ford dealership for service.

I have purchased several vehicles here but after the experience trying to buy another vehicle here this week I will never go back.  They are doing everything they can not to take my money, Smug smart ass salesmen acting like they are doing you a favor by taking the time to talk to you, acting put out with every question and broke two appointments to view and do paperwork for our new truck.

The first question sales Kinh asked after we sat down was: "Are you able to pay? If not why would I waste my time", then after I told him what I want and gave him my costco authentication code, He said:"I can't give you a price, you have to build it first, you can GO HOME, build it and print it and bring it to me then I can give you a price." ...  and after 2 hours and many round of "wait here let me ask my manager" finally the sales manager came out and told me the costco price, and after another 30 mins finally they are willing to show me the official costco price sheet which according to costco, should be present to me right when I walked in. Too bad they are the only dealership who's in the costco program.
Final words: Don't waste your time with them.

As an update:
The morning after I posted this, Abe (Service dept manager) contacted me.  I'd tried contacting him several times to resolve the problems that ended up with me posting this and never heard back from him.  
He apologized for not getting back to me, but did not address the issues I've had with the inattentiveness of their technicians and their inability to fix common, easy problems, much less the lie that was told about a "cracked pump" (He blew it off as if it were nothing when I told him I fixed it and had to replace clips his technician neglected to replace)
At this point in time, I don't think I'd even accept a "free ignition key" that they'd promised at point of sale and have given us the run around on every time the car has been in since.  
I'd probably buy another Ford, but based on their service department, I will never purchase another vehicle from a Larry H Miller dealership ever again.

I own a Ford so I clearly like the vehicles, however, this dealership makes me want to sell it back to them. I have NEVER been to a place that is more lacking in customer service. They completely ignore you when you pull your car in while you stand there looking like an idiot. They won't ask you if you've been helped, you have to physically hunt someone down.

I made an appointment to have them look at my Sync system because it won't play my iPod. After an hour of waiting, I find someone to tell them that I want to take my car and leave. They hadn't even got to my car and no one had taken the time to inform me of the status! An oil change might warrant an hour but certainly not an issue with my iPod.

I will never go back to this dealership nor will I recommend them to anyone!

I had a decent experience here very recently.  I went in for an oil change that included a 10+ point inspection and they found that my breaks were down to 1/32 or something god awful and rotors needed to be ground down, polished or whatever. I asked for a quote to get them done and then for some time to think. Well I ended up calling 4 other places in the city for the same service and they came in lowest. The waiting area is nice with lots of vending machines, free popcorn and coffee. They also have a separate CLEAN kids area with lots of toys and chairs. for parents (no tv though). Nate was our service rep and he was awesome. I was in with my infant and b/c he new the service would exceed an hour asked if I would prefer a shuttle back home and they could come get me when my car was ready. He was very professional, didn't try to up sell me on anything that wasn't totally necessary. I will definitely return next time my vehicle needs servicing.

My own experience was of salesmen who, if not exactly lie, tend to withhold pertinent pieces of information. This would make for a tedious tale, but my brother's experience (buying a certified used car) is more amusing. He's kindly given me permission to quote him, as follows.
My salesman told me that the previous owner was an old lady. That the car had never been driven hard. I told him that was cliche. He insisted.
In the trunk I found the court documents for the previous owner who was a young man who had drug problems and had his license revoked and was looking at prison time.

There were also two nice towels. I have enjoyed the towels.

They then told me about their 122 point safety inspection that each car goes through. My car, once I drove home with it and took it to the mechanic, had no oil in the engine.

Also the front ball joint was dead and had to be replaced immediately.

And did they warrant any of this? No. I tried talking to them and had a terrible time.

Helpful and courteous service advisor. Unfortunately, the problem described was not addressed and instead they attempted to charge $580 to R&R a part that was neither broken nor related to the described problem.  In addition, the part to be replaced is valued by Ford @ $60, but they wanted to charge $240 plus another $340 in labor. The part could easily be replaced in less than an hour.
Under no circumstances would I ever bring an auto here for service.
