24 days ago I brought my car in for brake and noise issues with the expectation that they would be repaired under warranty.  The Asst. Service Manager, Jesse, insisted that they looked over everything and could find nothing wrong with the vehicle.

I brought my car back in today with the same exact issues, only now worse, ( less than 500 miles later) and he gives me a list of repairs totaling almost $2000, none of it, of course, covered under warranty.

Same Service Manager, same car, same issues.  He insisted he checked it all out the first time.  I asked him how he diagnosed nothing wrong  on the last visit and major issues on this visit ( cracked pads, massive rust, warped cables, bad tires, etc., and he stated that he "looked at lots of cars and could not remember them all".

Draw your own conclusions.

I will follow up with Senior Management and keep you posted.

Oh, and I got to pay $110 for today's diagnosis , since it was not covered under warranty!

Most dealerships sell you a car but at Red McCombs Hyundai, you buy into a automobile family.  There is a genuine sense that everyone here really wants you to be a happy 'family' member too. They share your interest in wanting your vehicle to be in tip-top shape.  Getting your car serviced is completely hassle-free and without any high pressure sales tactics.  Whether you wait for your vehicle or drop-off for its maintanence, the service department is always communicating with you to keep you up-to-date on its status.

It has always been a pleasure dealing with the service department and everyone at this dealership. Says a lot of the Red McCombs organization.

After my previous car being totaled I visited FIVE different dealerships prior to Red McCombs Hyundai, only to experience salesmen and finance refusing to work with me in my particular situation or approaching me with ridiculous offers. I decided to give it one last attempt and visited this location and I was impressed from the first step into the building. Right away I was approached by salesman Nicolas Galvan and he was very professional and understood my situation right away. Not once did I feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle that I did not want just so that he could make a huge sale, which made the whole experience very relaxed and comfortable. In just a few hours and after the "battle of the banks" I was driving off in my new 2015 Hyundai Elantra! HUGE thanks to Nicolas and the Red McCombs team for helping me out when no one else would! Also, shoutout to Mr. Perilloux for working with Nicolas to make this happen!

Yesterday, while I was driving to work, my brand new car suddenly bogged down and would no longer accelerate past 30mph. My car (yes, my car) called the dealership and set me up with an appointment. I was able to limp (literally) my car to the dealership where it would be looked at. The prognosis wasn't good and they sent me home in a loaner.

I received a phone call today and they told me what the issue was. There were problems with the CAM and it needed to be replaced... the only issue was that it's a 2015 car, and parts for the 2015 haven't even been manufactured yet.

Instead of waiting for the part to eventually be manufactured and the car fixed, I was placed in a brand new vehicle. Same color, same interior, with a few additional add ons. After a few hours and a ton of paperwork, I went home in a brand new 2015 Sonata.

I just want to say THANK YOU to Thomas, Ruben and Will at Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest for making this as painless as possible. Machines are machines and even the best can have issues, I was just unfortunately part of one. I am very happy with my Hyundai and I pray this one has a very long life!

My wife and I had a great experience buying from this dealership.

Our salesman, Julian, hustled to bring out 5 or 6 different colors, trims, and models that we asked for. He was knowledgable and answered questions I didn't know I had.

We had to leave to drop off our baby that was getting restless and when we came back everything was ready for us to sign and the process was fairly quick.

It's been around a month since we purchased our Hyundai and we still love it. I would absolutely recommend this dealership and brand to anyone in the market.

I have bought five cars from the dealership, I like the sales staff and the brand.  Today was the third time I scheduled maintenance online and received a confirmation email.  When I arrive the service representatives stay inside surfing NFL.COM . My appointment isnt showing up...again.  They service manager meeds to train his reps on professionalism and customer service, and how to find reservations in the computer.

I would not purchase from this dealer again.  I listed all of the problems I encountered in an email response to the "sales manager" whose emails always solicited feedback if I wasn't satisfied but who NEVER responded to my concerns when I notified him.  Here is my email.  The issues are self explanatory.  (Oh, by the way, the 2 stars are for price.  I do feel like I received a good deal.)

Mr. Brown,

Since purchasing my vehicle from your dealership, I have received several communications from you asking me to respond if I wasn't completely satisfied.  Thus far, I have ignored these requests. The truth is, though, I was not at all satisfied with my experience and I will most likely not be returning to your dealership.  I was unhappy for the following reasons:

1.  After deciding to purchase the vehicle, the salesperson left me, my wife, and my child sitting alone for over an hour without virtually any contact.  Apparently, the computers were down and he was hoping they would come back, but rather than giving us regular updates he just left us alone staring at the walls.  I ultimately had to have him paged so I could tell him I was leaving but would be back.
2. After the above issue, we left and came back the next day.  While completing the paperwork, the finance person continually tried to talk me into registering the car in the dealership's county rather than my own (Bexar vs. Guadalupe) because not doing so "would force y'all to have to make a special trip".
3. After finally completing the purchase, I come out to find my salesperson nowhere in sight and that I was handed off to someone else.  Really?  Were it my sale, I would sure be there at the end to thank the person and shake their hand!  I had to demand help with things my sales person had promised to do, such as setting up the blue link trial.  
4. After I got home, I discovered I had driven all the way there without temp tags!  To my substitute salesperson's credit, he did deliver them to my house later that evening.
5. I took the car to the store the next day and found that all of my groceries fell through the liner in the trunk.  I later discovered spare tires have apparently become optional, but it would've been nice if someone had told me!  What if something had happened?  I did not even have the minimal pump and can of fix-a-flat that I hear was supposed to come with cars now.
6. I have called the number on your privacy policy, which I was told I must do to limit sharing of my personal information, at least 5 times and have left 3 separate, detailed messages.  Thus far no one has returned my call.  If I have not heard back before the end of the 30 day window, I will be filing an official complaint with the FCC.  I am following the dealership's procedure without results.  It is ridiculous!

For these reasons and others I may have forgotten, I was not a happy customer and I will not be returning.  Perhaps by my taking the time to write this email, someone else will have a better experience.

This was a pretty painless car-buying experience for me, considering that I stopped by on a whim to see if they had anything in my price range.  Salesman Jay Vasquez went the extra mile to get me the deal that I *really* wanted on a used Mitsubishi, which had all the features I was looking for -- including a 1-year warranty.  

They had no problem with me taking the car offsite and getting it inspected, and were also very forthcoming with their version of the CarFax report.  +2, Would buy from Jay again. :-)

/ And a shout-out to Hector, thanks for helping me out with closing the deal and getting the paperwork all done painlessly. :)  They even worked with me to fix a safety-related part of the car that was not working quite right as part of the deal.

Will post back with additional results if/when I take the car in for service there; I'm pretty happy overall with the deal that they gave me.

PROTIP: I was able to visit their website and get all the details/features on the car, so I could check it out in advance online.  +1

Awful miscommunication, they're nice when you're scoping cars but once you buy it they dont really care about your situation. Had to make so many trips there and never even talked to gm always an excuse, I like my camry but i wont ever go to this dealership.

Terrible Terrible Terrible.  No customer service.  Poor communication.  Did not make any effort to make the experience a good one.  False advertising. Dealership is very dirty and associates are very unprofessional.  Expect all the problems/ headaches associated with buying a car.  We bought a used car (toyota) from them.   If it wasn't such a good price we would have walked.  We will NEVER buy from RM again.
