Called about an 08 Mercury Grand Marquis and was told it was a clean, one-owner non-rental car.

Spent the money to pull the CarFax myself because of a hunch and sure enough it's actually a 3 owner car that spent most of it's life a rental car...  Buyer beware...

AVOID DEALING w/ ANY related H&R Auto Motors location/business in San Antonio/New Braunfels area!!!!!!!
-Was lured to dealership (literally 150+ miles round trip) for a vehicle which was advertised at a location 30-40 miles closer than where the vehicle actually was (several locations in SA & one in NB), when we arrived, waited almost an hour for them to find and then DRIVE TO PICK UP the vehicle.
-We called in advance- discussed that the price was very high compared to others available in the market- was told it was due to the condition & package on vehicle.
-When they FINALLY brought us the vehicle, *EVERY SINGLE PANEL/DOOR/BUMPER/HOOD/FENDER* had damage on it. Paint missing, scrapes, chips, dents from collisions. These people refused to lower the price even $500, when the vehicle was priced ~$2K more than others (same year, make, model) around.
-The unit allegedly had only 37K miles, there was RUST in the engine, pieces to the car missing, and it had obviously been in more than a few fender benders.
This is the best part:
-Our salesman Andy told us we were "overreacting and needed to calm down" about the amount of damage and that it was "still a great deal".  He spoke to us as if we were some friends of his from down the street, not with any tone of professionalism or customer service.
-They also lied to us about how much they paid for the vehicle, several times. Our entire experience was unprofessionally handled, by lackluster 'sales' staff, an aloof, defiant and LYING finance manager and subsequently, they did not, nor will they ever, sell us a car.

gave one star only bc we have to. bought a Subaru from this place almost 2 years ago. immediately the car had major problems they didn't disclose. we took it back 2 days later and they said they would fix it. the car came back even more messed up than before and they refused to put any more time into it. Clearly the mechanic didn't know what he was doing. I asked if my mechanic could look at it and fix it for a reasonable price. They refused to help. so we are stuck with this car after only having it for a few days. on top of this nightmare, after paying them every month for over a year at their location. we o in to make a payment to find they have sold my loan to another random lender. they didn't notify me of these changes till I got there.. not a simple phone call, nothing. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP YOU CAN GO TO, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
