The used car salesman made a promise to fix a part when I test drove a certain car. After I bought the car he kept giving me the run around saying it would be "a few days". Checking with the parts dept revealed that no part was ever ordered under either of our names and also that the part's "search history" showed it was never searched for. It took nearly 2 whole months of waiting and getting the run around for the salesman to finally rudely and indignantly tell me "no", he won't follow through on his word. Proof that the "used car salesman" stereotype still holds up today even at a supposedly classy dealership.

I worked with Corey McDonald buying my new vehicle. I was impressed at his knowledge and how much time and attention he devoted to helping me make a purchase decision (in spite of how busy the dealership was). After I had purchased my new Buick he still took the time to make sure I knew everything about the features of the car and made sure that all of my additional questions were answered. I would recommend Cavender West, and Corey McDonald to anybody looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I went to the 1604 west location after speaking to someone on the phone about body work after I hit an animal with my truck over the weekend. I arrived only to find out that I was at the incorrect location but the people at the counter jumped right up to go take a look at my truck anyway! It was the day before Thanksgiving, when most employees are just biding their time until they can leave... but not these employees! They were energized & ready to help me vs sending me to another location! It turns out that they were able to assist me, order parts & get the service scheduled vs me having to go across town to get my truck repaired! To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement! I expected delays, especially due to the holiday, but that was not the case at all! The parts arrived the day after Thanksgiving and I was called promptly. Service was set up for 1 hr on Monday morning. After 1 hr exactly on Monday, my truck was clean & ready to go in the driveway! It doesn't get better than this! While I was waiting for the repair, I was offered a comfortable place to work, drinks, snacks and someone checked on me while I was waiting. Fantastic experience!

Mr. Julio Puente was extremely helpful and diligent in getting my Suburban repaired. I was surprised by his thoroughness and the expedience of the repair. The use of a loaner vehicle was icing on the cake, especially with a meeting that I had to attend downtown while my vehicle was in the service shop. I am used to this type of service from the luxury dealerships that I use with my other vehicles, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that you all run your service in the same manner. You now have a regular customer in me. The repair is perfect and I cannot even tell there were any mechanics inside my vehicle as it was returned to me just as clean as when I dropped it off. Thank you!

Greatest service department in town. Donna Pate makes miracles happen everyday.
Went in for an oil change, they checked a squeak in the steering wheel, and replace the Rack and Pinion on the car.  They also took care of a side airbag recall. And the car was done by 5:00PM. nice to know a dealership still cares.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Brought my Saturn in for a CEL that I could not figure out. Tim expertly diagnosed my problem, discussed the situation with me, and made the needed repairs in a professional manner. No issues since! During the service visit, a piece of trim went missing, presumably from the car wash. This was addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. Donna and Judy were my service advisors and I am very pleased with their responsiveness and helpfulness. Anthony was my porter - professional, on time, and pleasant. No issues. Very happy with the overall service experience. THANK YOU!

I signed up to take in my Acadia at 7 am thinking that I would still be able to make it to work on time (8:45 am), since all I needed was my headlight bulb replaced. Who knew that even though I was the first one at the dealers this morning it was still going to take almost 2 hours to complete this! Not only was I late to work but I also had to pay $115 for labor for a LIGHT! Thank goodness I had gone to my local Auto Zone and bought the $15 bulb myself the night before and that saved me $23 - bc originally Donna had quoted me (1  1/2 hours into my wait time) $138 with parts and labor... Also I don't appreciate being lied to... Donna told me that the reason on why it took so long was because the technician had to take off the whole front end and the tire... I researched the process and called GMC myself and they told me all I needed to have done was take the wheel off and go through the splash guard... I would like to know if I paid the $115 in labor for 2 hour's worth of service... because according to customer service rep for GMC they told me it should take less than 30 minutes and that there is absolutely no need to remove the "whole" front end (as Donna had proclaimed).
