History

Established in 2010.

Sewell was awarded a new Cadillac point in West Houston in 2010.  The store opened in February 2011 in the former McGinnis dealership at Katy Freeway and Dairy Ashford Road.  A new building is being designed and we look forward to showcasing what 100 years of inspired service has taught us.

Brought my 2014 in to Sewell Cadillac for its first oil change, tire rotation, and recall on the sunroof switch. Didnt have to pay anything out of pocket since GM picks up the tab on oil changes etc. until a certain amount of miles. Sewell offered me a loaner car but decided to wait the hour to have the service and wash done. Sewell always does its best to shine and for that reason alone my business will always remain with them. Thanks for always providing me great customer service.

All the folks I dealt with were friendly, courteous, and very nice to work with. My SRX was only in for an oil change and tire rotation (and wash, of course) but I was on my way in 70 min. I love the fact I can keep my SRX looking nice with a complimentary car wash any time, not just when it is serviced. Thanks, Sewell.

Have a phenomenal experience every time I visit you guys.  I actually live 10 minutes from Stewart Cadillac, but your reviews are so much better and for good reason so I don't mind the 35 minute drive. From the lounge with drinks to the super helpful and friendly staff...I could not be more pleased.  Working in hospitality (Hotel ZaZa) I am constantly disappointed when I visit or call other businesses such as Verizon or Comcast and knowingly get terrible service so it's such a breath of fresh air knowing every time I go to Sewell Cadillac I will absolutely get 5 star service.  You guys are the best!!!!!  Thanks for all that you do, your service is impeccable and my last customer service representative should be absolutely commended for her effort in taking care of me as a customer and answering my every question or concern. I needed to bring my 2012 SRX in for an oil change and a recall repair. The service team scheduled me in quickly with a loaner as always. Sierra our service representative was incredible. She was extremely professional with a dash of delightfulness. We mostly enjoyed her passion, which is rare to see now a days. Our vehicle was ready to pick up within 4 hours which included an inside/outside cleaning.

They have a great team of service people. Our experience is consistent every time. Now if they can just open up a Chevy dealership for my husband's truck service, all will be perfect!

I do feel a need to comment about the sales team. We bought my car in another state  so I only have outstanding experience with the service team at Sewell, thus my 5 star review. Unfortunately, while we were waiting for a loaner, my husband went into the showroom to look at a $75,000 V Coupe. He was quite put off by the sales team because they acknowledged and greeted a more conservative looking gentleman and completely ignored my not so conservative husband. Come on folks, you should know better than that...

Really bad customer service. I went there to look for the 2015 escalade with my wife and was told they don't have any if I want one they will show it to me on website and i can order one.

THEY EXPECTED ME TO BUY A 85k car without test driving one or even seeing one. The sales rep did not even had the courtsey to take our number and call back when they got more in stock. Really really bad customer service will never go back. There are better Cadillac dealers in Houston area.

My husband & I bought our Cadillac srx here this past summer & the service was great! Out sales associate, Tim actually made purchasing a car a pleasant  experience. Tim was friendly, helpful & not at all pushy.  He had me relaxed & excited about the purchase.

The dealership is beautiful & the service is top notch. When buying a car here, you are also purchasing incredible service, which unfortunately, you just don't find that much anymore.

Tim answered all of my questions & the entire staff was friendly & not at all typical car dealership types. No smarmy, pushy people at Sewell. It's a class act all the way.

One main pro is the lifetime of unlimited car washes at the dealership! I know it's a small thing but it is very helpful & super convenient.

I used to think David Taylor was the "top of the line" Cadillac dealership in Houston, but Sewell has quickly changed my mind. They have the best selection, gave me a great deal with no pressure! I literally just came here to bring my bosses car to get taken care of, but they greet you with a smile right when you walk in, are very courteous and offered various amenities to me while I waited! (Ex: water, soda, cookie) lol The other reviewers seem to be right when they say Sewell knows everything about taking care of their customers. Not to mention the dealership itself is beautiful!

We have shared nothing but praise and appreciation regarding the entire experience of dealing with Sewell Cadillac. Ratan Varma, our sales consultant, greeted and welcomed us at the front door on our initial visit, as if we were already friends. He was genuine, very knowledgeable and personable throughout our visit, no sales pressure and encouraged us to take their option of taking the SRX we test drove home for the weekend to make certain it was the vehicle for us. We also received a warm and personal welcome by General Manager, Dennis Nobles, as we waited for the brief paperwork to be filled out to enable us to take our extended test drive. Upon returning on Monday to complete the deal for our new car, Dennis also popped in to speak with us and to make certain that we were happy and satisfied with our decision. Can't say enough for all the Sewell personal from sales to finance to even the receptionist. Happy, willing and personable staff always.

We initially dealt with Graham who we later found out is an intern for Curtis St. Louis. Graham did an excellent job of introducing us to the XTS and answered all of our questions during our test drive. When we returned the following week intending to purchase, both Graham and Curtis were professional, patient and courteous. We were very pleased with their service.

I purchased a 2014 Cadillac XTS Premium. I must say initially my first encounter with the dealership was not great (to say the least). However, it didn't take long for me to meet some wonderful salesmen. Trust me when I say I'm usually on guard with salesmen; further, the term "wonderful salesmen" has never been in my vocabulary. I met Mark and can't tell you how enormously at ease he made me feel, as well as letting me know I WAS at the right place. Running back and forth to dealerships was hectic for my wonderful husband and I.  After talking to Mark we felt good about our decision. While at your dealership, I had the pleasure of meeting two other really friendly salesman (Julian and Ratan). I very much enjoyed their friendliness and kindness. Really liked chatting with Ratan about motorcycles. Finally, it was great meeting and dealing with Curtis; his great big smile, the way he tried to immediately get to know you, and how helpful he was were all wonderful things. Basically, without anyone knowing (or maybe you do know)...this sale WAS a team effort. I absolutely would recommend you. All of you are very good, some of you were superb.

One final note; if you have a promotion (like the $100 test drive thing), even if dealing with it eats into your floor time, you should just deal with that. Immediately trying to pin someone down about whether they are a) REALLY interested in buying a car or b) just there for the hundred bucks (and potentially wasting your time) is a BAD strategy. I came very close to leaving at that point. Happily, I stayed, and things got better, as mentioned above.

I went to Sewell Cadillac based on the reviews I saw on Yelp. I have to admit the reviews seemed too good to be true, but after a few easy phone conversations with my sales associate, Ray Cavazos, and a short visit to the dealership, We closed the deal and now I am also a believer in how great this place is. The facilities are modern, extremely clean and a pleasure to visit and that was at the used car part of the dealership! :) Everyone we met was friendly and professional and I will be returning here for many years to come.

I cannot say enough good stuff about Sewell, got my car and the sales process was great, I got the wheel and tire package as well, as luck would have it I was heading out at 3:30 pm and my tire was low. I called and stopped by the dealership and they got me in and found an object in the tire, they got a new one put on with my wheel and tire warranty. Just awesome!

Brought my CTS V in for its 30,000 mile checkup. Kyle from Service told me that it would be about a 1-2 hour wait, and I had the entire afternoon, so I decided to wait. After about 3-3.5 hours, Kyle came up to me and informed me why there was a longer wait (something with a car being difficult on the alignment stand ahead of mine). He got me a rental so that I didn't have to wait anymore, and while it was taking extra time to service my car, I went ahead and asked if they could fix a trim issue with my car, which I was informed that they could. The next morning, I got a call saying my car was finished and when I got there, it was complete including the trim work. It was a little convenient to wait longer than expected, but I was well informed and well taken care of.

I came to your dealership with the interest in the new 2014 CTS Vsport and i walked out with one. I have bought several cars in the past and by far this has been the most pleasant and streamlined process. From your floor representative, Eddie Wright, ( i didn't say sales person ) who took car of me finding the exact car i liked and being my advocate in getting the deal done to your service representative, Saul Kamya, who took care of all my OCD compelled request. I am also in the industry in sales and service and i can confidently say that Sewell as a group is on top of the automotive industry, in my opinion, when it comes down to those two things.

I am not crazy, but I love taking my Cadillac for service here at Sewell.  Having an appointment is not mandatory, but if you need a loaner car, it's best to call ahead to check availability.

Once you pull up to the service bay, someone will greet you and escort you into a service technician's office. They will type in your information and ask you questions about the service or maintenance you require on your car. If you need a loaner car, they will escort you across the service bay to their counter who will make copies of your drivers license and you will fill out paperwork for the loaner car. If necessary, you can have a seat and chill while they process all the paperwork.  I love their waiting room. Better than most luxury hotel lobbies. In a jiff, they will pull up a gorgeous and sporty car for you to borrow while your car is worked on. You have 24 hours to bring the loaner back with the gas filled at the same level they loaned it to you.

Communication is superb with this company. They will call you when the car is ready and are extremely professional.

I had a tire blowout in my 2012 SRX, i called Sewell Cadillac service department and spoke with Lynn from Road Side Assistance.  He was excellent, came to my home with a spare tire, took my old tire and rim back to sewell and had a new tire installed.  When he was finished with that he came to the Golf course near my home and installed it.  The entire time communication was great and overall Excellent service!

Buying a new car can be daunting and intimidating and generally no fun.   Sewell Cadillac and Allyson Janes in particular make it just the opposite.  

We searched online for a long time deciding on a new car.   When we settled on the SRX we went to the dealership closest to us.   Thankfully for us that is Sewell.  

Allyson is courteous,  professional and well trained.   She took the time to explain all the numbers and answer my numerous questions without becoming annoyed or impatient.  

We are very pleased with the car, service and experience so far.  My wife said that she feels as comfortable shopping here as she does at the mall.  She did not feel at all intimated or uncomfortable.  She is really excited about the free car washes for the entire time you own the car.

This is a top notch dealership and they provide a top notch buying experience.  I highly recommend them!

My husband and I bought our 2013 XTS Platinum back in Washington State and were apprehensive about any service being done on our vehicle here in Texas. After 7,000 miles our check engine light came on. I called Sewell and Matt told me to have my husband bring it right in (he works close by on Eldridge). My husband went right there and although Matt was busy, the service writer checked him in and got the paperwork started right away. Matt did take the time to come over and introduce himself to my husband after he was done helping another customer. They did provide us with a loaner CTS while they checked out and diagnosed what was happening with our car. It wasn't quite as luxurious as our XTS but it was clean and an okay vehicle to drive. After looking at our car, they had to replace the engine purge cylinder on our vehicle.
My only complaint was lack of communication in letting us know what was happening or how much longer they anticipated needing our car. It took two full days to diagnose and repair and I had to continually call to find out what was going on. My husband even called and spoke with James who said he would check with a technician and call him back. He NEVER called. I ended up calling as my husband went into a meeting and James finally came back to tell me what was going on. Other than that, we both thought they were professional and friendly and we won't hesitate to take our car back for service.

Purchased a 2012 Cadillac SRX from Sewell Audi.  It was a quick transaction but we had some bumps afterwards but upper management from Sewell were prompt and attentive.
The service is awesome and they do all they can no make you comfortable from fresh baked cookies, fountain drinks and coffee, & a free iPad to use while waiting for service work.

Four stars are strictly for the maintenance department because they are timely, kept me posted on what was going on with my vehicle, had a loaner car ready for me in minutes after arriving, and provided me with documentation on everything that was done to my vehicle. I am not mechanically inclined at all, so I need things in writing to relay information to the men in my life who watch out for me. The service adviser, Kate, was pleasant and she spoke with my dad directly when I didn't completely understand what repairs were being made.

I have no complaints, but did not want to rate them five stars because I have only been here once. BUT --- they give you chocolate before you leave. I like that. Five stars, it is!

The service department at McGinnis is excellent.  I bought my car at a midtown Cadi dealer where the service was awful.  McGinnis is not the most convenient location for me, but it is well worth the drive.  Michael Brister takes care of any problem I have.  My car is still under factory warranty so other than routine service, everything is covered.  They have fixed every irritating rattle, noise or other issue I have had with my car.  Sadly, they have lost their Cadi franchise due to GM downsizing.  I hope they get it back because the thought of going back to the where I bought the car (even though it is blocks from my house) makes me break out in hives.
