Reviews on Fredy Kia

I've purchased two vehicles at this location and have experienced only friendly employees.
I took my car in a month ago for a recall and the wait time was not long in the comfortable customer area.
I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone who is looking to buy a KIA.

Very unprofessional, uncaring service dept.
The interior finish on my new Kia is already failing after a month and when I asked them to look at it, they refused, and instead said I should just get it detailed. Nice advice from someone who didn't even bother to look at it, and it was 10 feet away. They were condescending, dismissive and completely ungrateful that I had just purchased a new Kia. It will be my last, and I'd never patronize this dealership again for anything.

I'm so highly pissed off I don't know where to begin. These people have been begging me to come in for a clean slate program . With NO money down pick any car u want . And out the door . I'm like yea right but they keep bugging and bugging so I finally told her look I'm not trying to go in their a waste time on people and I sure don't wanna waste time on myself . So I try it out .. well I get their and I explain to the gentleman that the lady's who were bugging me and bugging they said my credit was already ran and I don't have to do nothing just pick a car. And he reassured me and he went to go run my credit and sure enough he came back and he told me that I would need a Co signer and trade in my other car .. I didn't want to do that. So I raised he'll .
So I went off on the accounting people . And told them how and the he'll are they gonna tell people the qualify for something when they don't and the asses needed to get fired . And if these people call and tell u that lie don't go .. Cause they lying. .

Very pushy and deceptive ! Check out there horrible record with the BBB . Buyer beware, check your rights as a consumer with the Federal Trade Commission. They are clearly in violation. Filthy dealership with gangster rap music in the background. There are too many other dealerships !!!!!!!!

Stay away from this dealership. I saw a 2011 Kia Forte internet priced at $11,999. I went to the dealership and asked to test drive the car. They had me go out in the cold with the sales person to the lot across the freeway. The sales person found the car's battery dead. He had to charge it. After we got in it, he had to fill it with gas. I decided I liked the car and offered $200 less than the internet price. I sat while they took my application, ran my credit for 35 minutes. I finally got up to call my wife and had to go to my car because my cell phone was dead. They indicated they were ready to present their offer. The finance clown person showed me 3 payment scenarios with different down payments, but the price jumped from $10,999 to $14,265. "We can't sell it to you for that internet price because it has a $3,500 upgrade package." Can you imagine a dealer RAISING the advertised price quoted! Unbelievable, I was so pissed. Why not tell me that crap before I sat there wasting my Friday afternoon and evening waiting on these clowns to give me a crap offer? I was willing to pay the internet price for the car, but they enjoyed jerking me around. Buying cars is a painful process to begin with and these snakes make it even worse. Stay away!!

I was very dissatisfied with the fact that nobody could tell me the price of a car I was interested over the phone. Then they called me today and still didn't have a price.... It was near my work so I decided to go and check out the car in person. Come to find out there was no car... The salesman said it was sold two days ago... If that is true why did the "manager" call me today to get me to the lot to buy it this afternoon.

Then being a female the salesman thought I should have a minivan... Everybody was smoking. I am an avid athlete so there is no way in hell I would ever step foot on a scummy car dealership like this.

Avoid this shady place if you don't want to give your money to crooks.

I received a Grand Opening ad for the I-45 Fredy Kia dealership in my mailbox. It had a fake key stuck to it and a scratch-off circle. The ad said that if the scratch-off number matched the one printed next to it, you were a winner. Of course I was a "winner". But I checked the back and found the fine print which nullifies everything said on the front, along with the odds of winning various prizes being 1:500,000, much higher for the grand prize.

Seriously guys, is this how you plan to treat people in Houston? Your very first act as a business is to pull a mass-mailed bait-n-switch dupe?? You're doing nothing but reinforcing the car-salesman cliche, and smashing the spirits of those who don't think to find the fine print.

I genuinely hope this new dealership fails, preferably buried under the consequences of their own greed and callousness.

Just received an ad in the mail. The delivery instructions for the post office said to deliver between 4/27 - 4/30 (I received on the 30th). HOWEVER the date on the contest printed said in order to claim one of the advertised prizes you had to bring in the ad by close of business on the 28th. What kind of shady/deceptive advertising is that? I don't think I'd trust them to do right by me in a transaction that's for sure.

The service department is great here.  By great I mean they diagnose problems accurately and charge MORE than fair prices.  Recently a local repair shop wanted to charge me $1,200 for a repair.  I thought it was a bit steep so I called Fredy's who quoted me $300 over the phone for the same repair.  Needless to say, I drove out of my way to take it to Fredy's.  I've been going to this location since 2007 (under previous ownership) and will never take my car anywhere else until they mess up.  LOL.  Just kidding.  I hope they don't.
