Reviews on Classic Cars of Houston

Classic Cars of Houston is the premier place to go for car restoration. Their craftsmanship and attitude put them on a level of professionalism that I've never seen with any other repair shop.

They're willing to work with you on your design ideas and keep you up to date with their progress to make sure you're being satisfied every step of the way. Owner, Jeff Pate, is a straight forward and honest businessman. He treats his employees and customers with the upmost respect and nobility. You can really tell that he cares about his work. They're reasonably priced and are flexible with payment plans. They also work quickly, making sure that your car spends less time in the shop and more time with you!

Classic Cars of Houston helped me turn my 1971 Cutlass Supreme Oldsmobile from a rusty, not-drivable car, to a pristine, fully functioning vehicle! They went above and beyond with helping me get the best deal for my car, and provided wonderful service. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a classic car repair shop!

No doubt about it, Jeff and his team make the impossible happen. The attention to detail is top notch, this is a true restoration shop. If you want laser straight body panels that will impress the most picky judge at a car show, they can do that. I had rust repair and other work done, but I don't need a show car.  Classic Cars worked with me to make my project come to life.

Honestly, just visiting the place to see your car being worked on is a treat, the quality of work and the cool cars you see is just amazing.

Not only did they do rust repair and paint work to my satisfaction, they worked with me: I helped find replacement body panels that weren't necessarily for my car, but they could use them and save me money. They also did quality mechanical work on my car that most mechanics would treat pretty poorly, as cars from the 1980s aren't exactly desirable to most folks. But Classic Cars of Houston treated it like a Bugatti, and I sincerely appreciate that.

If you are looking for more than just a "paint job", this is the place for you.  I'm wrapping of a full restoration on a Datsun 240Z and I'm very happy with the results.  Candidly, I spent a lot more money than I ever thought that I would spend, but I have zero regrets.  Their attention to detail and prep work were very thorough and, at the end of the day, it is all about preparing the surface of the car properly.  Very good customer service as well, even for obsessive-compulsive middl- aged guys like me.
