After seeing a used  Kia Optima at another dealer we liked, we decided to drive to Archer Kia on a Sunday to take a look at some of their cars. As soon as we pulled up a security guard pulled up and said we weren't allowed to look and were asked to leave. Unbelievable. Shopping for cars on Sundays when there aren't any sales people around is something that many people like us prefer to do. Getting treated like we were criminals is not.

Sooo where do I start... I work from state to state but my car was transferred from Maryland to Texas. The car needed an oil change so I had my grandmother take it to get required maintenance. She went to the nearest KIA in Sugarland which was Archer as I did in the past. I just simply forgot to tell her to go to ANY other KIA than Archer. I previously came to Archer back in Feb/March and the mechanics failed to tell me my battery was bad after I requested them to test it over and over. At that point my battery was still covered under warranty and after taking it to Cowboy KIA it was short over the mileage on warranty. Cowboy KIA helped by still honoring and making sure the work was done for a recall that they were suppose to do. They also failed to tell me that my brakes were bad and near riding my rotors. Maintenance CLAIMED to have done an inspection and left a copy in my glove box which I have to this day never found. I also found it kind of odd that I was told that giving a positive yelp review would grant me a free oil change (Red Flag).

Fast forward today.... My grandmother takes the car in for an oil change. They immediately asked her if the car has had a 60000 mile engine check and I told her to tell them no but I already had one scheduled (I was on the phone throughout the conversation). She is the only one there and was told the wait time was an hour and fifteen minutes. WTH I do oil changes on helicopters faster than that. She waited two hours to get it done but an hour after waiting they brought her the air filter along with the engine filter telling her it was dirty. Mind you these are services done in the engine check I already had scheduled. Being grandma she still bought the filters even though its already included in the $300 for the 60000 engine check. I feel like they took advantage of my grandmother after they were told the service was not wanted. Even though part of this is my fault for not warning her of going to this KIA, I am livid. Where was the such concern when the car wasn't starting due to the bad battery or when my brakes were on the rotor?!

Buying the car from Bill Baisley KIA in Maryland was an awesome experience. Fast forward two years the sales guy still calls and ask about the car and I have build a relationship with them leading to buy two other KIAs for family members from them within the two years. KIAs are good affordable cars! I don't expect BMW or Audi customer service going into Archer KIA but I was looking for the comfort of knowing the car would be taken care of. For now on, the car will go to Cowboy KIA in Conroe while in Texas.

We were very disappointed with the process.  The salesman (G.) was not friendly and barely said a word... actually, that wasn't that bad.  We are still awaiting the extra key we negotiated for.  We also witnessed them jump the battery to get it started before we drove off with it.  So yes, they sold us a car with a failing battery.  Had to replace the battery within days of purchase.  We'd already signed everything - but it's still bull.

I recently bought a Kia optima from Archer and prior to leaving dealership I noticed a small scratch on the hood. The sales manager Ryan told me not to worry and to bring it back at my convenience and he would put me in a loaner and get the scratch taken care of. I called about 30 days later to schedule a time and Ryan was more than accommodating . He told me the car would be in the body shop for 1 day, when I called the next day to see if I could pick up, he let me know that he wasn't satisfied with the result and wanted to ensure everything was perfect for me. When I went to pick my car up, it was just perfect. Thank you Ryan for an excellent customer experience! Kudos to Archer Kia for hiring model employees who go the extra mile for their customers.

I finally bought myself a new car.  It feels like a rite of passage that I'm having way too late in life - but I'm glad I did.  I love my Kia Soul.

My salesman Geoff has been nothing helpful.  Even before I came in, he was answering my questions and helping me make the right decision.

Test drive, papework - all went smoothly.  The finance guy - Rod - was also great.

Something you need to consider (that I didn't) when buying are the service hours. Archer service apparently doesn't do weekends or late evenings.  If you work an 8 to 5, you have very few options. They will shuttle you to work if it's close by, but,  can't pick you up.   No loaner.

Luckily I work close by and was able to get a co-worker to drop me back off.

ABDEL ROCKS!  Mr Abdel Benz is the man to see if you're looking for a great car at an amazing price.  He goes the extra mile to make sure his clients get exactly the right car at the best price possible.  I love my KIA and will recommend Archer KIA and especially Abdel to anyone looking for a car.  Their salesmen are friendly, helpful, and their finance department is strong and resourceful.  I'm self employed and usually that is a headache for financing, but I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and drove away in a gorgeous new car.
I might add I used to sell for Mercedes, so I know professional when I see it.  :)

I was in the market recently and I had Although I didnt purchase a car from this dealership, they were in my top two dealerships to buy from.  I called the day before I planned to shop and I spoke to Carl P. at the dealership.  He seemed very helpful and he called me the morning I planned to buy and confirmed our meeting time.

Once I arrived, he did seem a bit distracted but it was the last day of the month so, It was to be expected.  I test drove the pre-owned car I planned on buying and I let him know I planned on checking out another dealer before deciding to buy.

At the end of the day, I decided to go with another dealer but, I applaud Mr. P. on remaining professional and touching base with me throughout the process.

Service is horrible here!! I came only for an oil change and the guy that is helping me with my car tells me it needs new brake pads and a transmission flush. So I go ahead and get it done. After 7 hours of waiting the mechanic tells me that he damaged my rotters from him changing the break pads. That if he can't fix it I will need new rotters!!! I've never had this happened to me at any other Kia dealership. I will never come back here again. And I will never recommend any person to bring there vehicle here for service.

The salesmen next to us was spraying deodorant all over himself and under his arms while we sat there. Kind of gross. The salesmen obviously pushed the newer, more expensive vehicles but I'm all around happy with my purchase. He pushed checking multiple banks for the best rate which I kept trying to explain I did not want to do because I wanted to go through my credit union and I didn't want them to ding my credit with multiple bank inquiries. He did it anyway. I still went with my credit union because of course they had the lowest rate. Overall I'm happy with the car. The sales people did their jobs being sales people. I kept having to contact my sales rep multiple times to fax in required documents to my credit union to finalize my loan. It took a week and I still haven't finished closing. I finally got upset and told him that I didn't have time to keep going back and forth with the credit union and him because I was at work and since it's HIS job to sell cars HE needs to contact the lien holder and provide the remaining information required by them to close on the loan. He reluctantly did it. Smh. Kind of a mess. I like my vehicle but Archer Kia is a bit of a handful to deal with.

Terrible. Took 2 months to get plates, temporaries expired. When they finally came in, they just told me to wait at the top of the stairs. I was there for FAR too long, and no one ever came. Had to go complain, and then it still took another 10-15 minutes...and their excuse? "Maybe she's in the bathroom."

Called today to try to get an appointment to bring my car in. It's 11am and they are open until 6p. The girl on the phone clearly doesn't want anyone's business because she said I should come by next week and just drop it off. I asked to make an appointment so I wouldn't be waiting around all day and she suggested that I not do that.
I'm sorry- I own one car, and can't simply "drop it off" for a day

The girl I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. I have never been treated with such disregard by a Kia center. I need to get my car serviced, and it looks like I'll be calling the Kia corporation with my complaints.

My dad and I went to buy my first car at archer Kia today. The experience was great and the finance professional Rod was extremely helpful and explained the process to us thoroughly. You could tell the car salesman Ron appreciated our business and treated us with the utmost respect. My father, who has gone through the car buying process many times, kept repeating how Archer Kia was the best car buying experience he has ever had. We would definitely recommend Archer Kia.

I purchased a Kia Sorento last weekend from this dealership and I cannot say enough about how awesome we were treated.  The entire staff was so friendly and helpful.  The finance person also made me a great deal and did not play any games like I have experienced at other dealerships in the past.  I even received an email from the dealership within hours of leaving to thank me for my purchase.  The entire car buying experience wasone of the least stressful I have had in a very long time.  Thanks again to the staff at Archer Kia!

I went there to buy a used car and the salesman did a great job. It was over 100 outside and he kept letting us test drive car after car. He then showed us a really nice new car but I said no because we couldn't afford a new car. He said he'd make us a deal, so I let him run the numbers on the new car.

Sure enough, the new car was a crazy cheap deal, so we ended up with the new car! All told we were at the dealership for 6 hours and I can say that the salesman and finance folks were easy to work with and did a great job.

They get 4 stars because 4 stars is the highest I will give to any car dealership. Check out their website and look at the deals!
