Have been taking my truck there for it's scheduled maintenance, oil/tire rotation, etc. Without fail, each time has taken in excess of 1 1/2 hrs for oil change and rotation. Service writers do not greet you and even act put out to do their jobs. I called the other day with questions about hail damage and was told they do not use 100% oem parts. Was enought for me to take my business elsewhere.

They have changed names to David Mcdavid Ford.  This is my first time going since the name change.  My previous experiences were ok, but this last time was abysmal.  I had to call to find out my car was ready.   I didn't get my free car wash.   Also when I came to pick up my car I was not greeted nor was my car ready.  They seemed to be having issues finding a Ford at a Ford dealership. The best part of the experience was the friendly shuttle driver.   I'll  probably only go back because it's so close to my work.

We bought our car here 6 months ago and the service was incredible. We were very pleased with the experience and looked forward to dealing with them again. When we bought our car the salesman scheduled our 1st oil change for us in February and assured us they would call and remind us. By the 12th of February no one had called, so I called them. The gentleman I spoke with informed me they had switched systems and lost most of their appointments.  I said fine I would like to schedule a oil change then he said to come in Monday the 16th at 9am. I asked if he wanted my information and he said no and basically hung up on me. I showed up Monday at 8:50 and was treated extremely rudely by a gentleman that wanted to know why I didn't have appointment.  I tried explaining to him about my conversation the previous week and he just walked away. A service tech then came out and assisted me but didn't say a word when I voiced my complaint about the rude man. As I sat waiting for my oil change I was informed they had found a nail in my tire and for $14.99 they would remove and patch it. I was fine with this and when it was all said and done I paid for a tire patch and oil change.  The next day I was on my way to the gym and my pressure light came on as I pulled into my parking space. I got out and looked at my tires, they seemed fine so I headed into the gym. A hour later the tire they had "fixed" was almost flat. I went to the service station next to my gym and they looked at it for free and put air back in and then informed me the plug that was in the tire was faulty and I need to call the dealership.  So that's what I did once again speaking with a extremely rude man who told me just to bring it in when I had time no appt necessary.  So today I brought it back in, i been waiting almost a 1 1/2 hours for them to fix my tire. No one will assit me or answer my questions, as soon as they fix my tire I am leaving and won't be back. Excuse my language but their customer service sucks!

This place has the worst customer service I have experienced in quite a while. They advertise $5 over cost on tires but good luck getting anyone on the phone to give you a price. I have bought tires at Texas Motors Ford before and I had similar problems then, just not this bad. If you buy road hazard or lifetime rotation and balancing, you will wait hours if you ever bring your vehicle in to use one of those services. Not even the managers of the service department and the dealership can answer their phones or return a phone call. It's no surprise that nobody else answers their phone. They are only as good as the management. Do yourself a favor and avoid Texas Motors Ford.

I dont know what the problem these other peoples reviews, but Ive been buying vehicles from this Texas Motors Ford in Fort Worth,Texas and doing buisness in the Service Dept. For over 10 Years ever since they were on Cherry Lane. Me and My Wife went in yesterday 7/18/2013 at 5 PM due to their Internet ad and we were treated with extreme courtesy from everyone we met! We picked out a 2014 Ford Escape and started working on the payoff on My 2006 Ford Focus and the best deal we could get, me and My Wife picked the vehicle ourselves and they did not try to get us into a cheaper or older car! This was what we wanted and LynnSelf in Internet sales stayed there until 10:30 PM getting the deal done as well as the finance mgr.Jeff, and Rick Long as well. They were all supposed to get off at 5 PM and we never knew until the deal was done. Lynn could of stated come back tomorrow to finish the deal, yes sure they wanted to sell the Vehicle but we were the adamant ones on Buying it! We had no pressures from anyone to purchase the Vehicle. Ive dealt with the service Department as well and have received only courteous and fast service and all the service advisors were upfront and called me promptly if they had any problems. Maybe the old saying is that you get More bees with honey than vinegar!

They tried to sell me a defective truck and then proceeded to publicly guilt me for not buying it. (Details below)

After doing my research for over a little under a year I had intentions to buy a Ford F150 FX2. After Texas Motors Ford quoted me over the internet I showed up the next day to look at the truck. Within that time frame they had "Sold" the truck in question but were willing to trade with another local dealer to get me the truck I wanted.

At this point I asked them, why I shouldn't just drive up the road and buy from the other dealer. They replied that they would be able to get me the best deal. I naively agreed to wait for them to get the truck on their lot, they asked for a $500 deposit to assure them I would show up so I complied.

I came back the next day ready to buy my new truck. They kept me waiting for over an hour because it was being "Washed". Finally, they brought it out for me to test drive (the truck was dusty so I'm not sure what the real delay was about). I drove the truck a couple of miles and circled back to the dealer. Fortunately I brought my father with me (an experienced senior mechanic) who noticed a abnormal engine noise and a slightly odd smell.

We pulled up another truck, same model different color, and it did not make the same engine noise. After further observation we deducted that the noise was coming from a loose belt and the smell from a stuck break pad. Vehicles that sit for over 3 months can develop stuck breaks which can cause uneven wear on the disk.

I was then told everything could be fixed up by their shop but I did not want to spend +$30,000 on a new truck that would start its life in the shop with manufacture defects. When I informed our salesman he tried to guilt me at their front desk but I had made up my mind that enough of my time was wasted. I went to Grapevine Ford who quoted me a better price and were very transparent.

Bottom line: They Texas Motors Ford is NOT an honest dealer and will pressure at all ends to make a quick sell. Stay way or be diligent about doing your homework before you step foot on their lot.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I dropped my work truck off with the service adviser on Monday June 3rd for what I thought could be a 2 day job, so on Wednesday I called to get an update because I had not heard anything from the dealership. I left 4 messages that morning, but no one called me back so I had to drive up there to finally speak to the adviser. Adviser, I think he needs a new name. He tells me that they still haven't looked at it because they've been too busy.

You would think on Monday afternoon he would have realized that my truck wasn't going to be looked at and maybe, just maybe he should call me so I could take it to someone else for repairs. How many people can just leave their vehicle at the shop for a week?

So, he tells me that they will try to get it in on Thursday and I'm not going to apologize for being busy. Again, I leave several messages Friday morning trying to get an update because I'll need to make other arrangements if I can't get my truck back. He never returns my call so I have to drive up to the dealership again. They page him and  I wait in his office until he finally comes in and doesn't say a word to me such as I'm sorry that I never return your calls or I'm so sorry for not doing my job. Nope, just that the parts have been ordered for your truck and it won't be ready until Tuesday.

Well, he calls me on Tuesday about 5pm and tells me that it's done. OMG I can't believe it! Don't go there for anything more than an oil change. My dear Yelp friends I hope you all read this and learn from it. Customer service is almost non existent in this world and when you actually receive good service everyone is surprised.
