Called today to schedule an oil change. The guy who answered said ok. I replied do you want my name or they model of my car ect.... He said no and hung up.

I drove down around 11am and check in to the service dept. I didn't confirm a time but was thinking possibly they won't be busy ect.

Two hour wait for an oil change. I mentioned that I was hung up on when I called. They said it was probably me. Ha!

Also, I did bring my car for its initial first oil change. A sales rep was trying to trade my 3 week old car in. I was just sitting there waiting on my car so I talked to him for fun. He took a WRX out. He drove. He drove the car so hard that I certainly would not buy the car as we were drifting though corners on backroads. Was driving over the red limit cause car engine was at rev limiter. It was fun but no way would buy a new car after driving it that hard+plus just bought my car. They called several times trying to sell me a car.

Not the best Subaru dealer. Seems more like amateur hour.

Wanted to say thanks to salesman Gary for making our car buying experience a good one. I purchased a used Dodge Durango from this dealership. If you visit hiley make sure to ask for Gary. He will take good care of you while there are others there that are pushy and difficult to work with. I do wish my car has been a little bit cleaner when we picked it up. When I originally inquired about putting earnest $$ down I was told no. But while I was working out $ with my bank they then said they needed some $$ to hold our vehicle. Rules are rules and I understand but there seems to be some inconsistencies between their employees.

This is the best dealership in the Metroplex! I Bought & sold back two  vehicles In the last few months before settling down on my third and final purchase! They never lost patience with me or inflated the price. This team made what could have been an awkward experience, smooth and easy! Kudos to Brandon Sedgwick for walking me through it! I love my Subaru! Thank you, Hiley's!

The first time I spoke with the salesman,Drew Dreyspring, on negotiating a price, he asked aggressively why I wouldn't take his first offer because its better than the price where I am from and I simply said I wanted it lower. I declined at first because I felt pressured, but later on decided to buy from him when he called me back that he was able to get an a lower price.

Later on, I was told that there was a key with lock buttons that belonged to me and it is on its way to me in the mail. When I did receive it, I explained that the key was straight edged, which would not fit in my car nor did it match my current key's cut. He wasn't sure about why it was like that and asked for me to mail it back.

About two months later of hearing no updates, I called him and He told me the key was made like that by the manufacturer and that he will send it back to me. Again, the same key from earlier will be mailed to me and I would have to go to my local dealership to get it cut like my car key.  He collected my VIN information so the key is already programmed to my car.

Upon doing that, I realized that the buttons on my key didn't work on my car, so I told Drew about it and he told me I would need to have it programmed here locally, pay for the programming out of my pocket so it is done right away and mail the receipt to Hiley to get reimbursed for the programming fee and shipping. I expressed my frustrations with him on the communication and service and he apologized for it all, but it didn't sound genuine.  He told me if I am ever in fort worth, I can get my car detailed or receive freebies.

After a few days that I have mail expressed the key receipt, I call him to see if it was received and he said he is sick. After a week of mailing it, I'm told the reimbursement is on the way. Two weeks later, I check up on when exactly should I receive it and he doesn't know. So I call the accounting department and was told that it was sent just three days ago and that the reimbursement amount was only the car key programming fee, not the shipping included.

Finally I talked with the manager, Jeff, to tell him this issue and expressed my frustrating experience with the salesman. He was able to have my reimbursement for the shipping mailed to me, however he did not addressed or followed up with my concerns with Drew.

In conclusion, I do not recommend this dealership due to not feeling like a valued customer after having bought my car from out of town. I would have been better off buying from my local dealership from friendly, charismatic salesmen than the Hiley Dealership regardless of price.

If you go to Hiley Subaru...look up John - Michael! !!   I had a long list of requirements for a vehicle...and John - Michael took them, did the research for me, and got me to come look over what he found.   and what he found for me was exactly what i needed (and did so, under  budget).   I was extremely happy with a sales guy who listens!

Salesman: Marcell Bailey

I called Hiley Subaru requesting a 2015 WRX. My salesman seemed great, invited me for a test drive, gave me the choice of three separate colors for the base model. However, the color I wanted wasn't available unless I waited for two weeks. I figured at the time; if I am spending near $30k on a car, I want it to have the color I like. So I placed a $500 deposit and was given a guarantee that in two weeks I would have my car. Meanwhile, I am using a rental car and figured spending an extra 200 on rental for two weeks in order to get my color, was worth it. When the date finally arrived, my salesman sent me a text message saying 'Your car was sold out from under us'. Four days later they tell me 'we have to refund your $500, we won't get any more WRX for three months'.

The dealership never offered me restitution for the extra $200 I spent on a rental waiting for their color. They never even offered me a loaner car. As a matter of fact, when I approached the new car sales manager (Rick) and asked him for a loaner car while they try to find me a car, he said verbatim "There is nothing we can do, we don't have loaner cars". One day later my salesman Marcell offers me a loaner car if I buy a premium edition in white. Great deal, but I hate white and don't like being lied to about 'no loaner cars'.

I applaud Marcell for his initial professional manner and willingness to negotiate price. His customer service skills initially were impeccable. His sales manager Rick was unprofessional blaming his salesman for getting me into the issue, and offered me absolutely nothing to make up for the mess I was in.

Being in the Navy, I have a network of 2500 on this base. 250,000 across the Navy. I will never advocate buying from Hiley Subaru to anyone and will recommend the establishment be blacklisted among my fellow shipmates.

Worst experience buying a car.

I was quoted $800 to do the work on my vehicle and I took it elsewhere and the work was completed for $315. The reason they were going to charge me so much was to warranty the work for a year.

Also, their machine for doing state inspections was broken the last two times I was there. :(

With my wife we needed an new car to replace our huge Envoy, and we shopped around for a few days. We hesitated between the Honda Crosstour, WV Tiguan and a Nissan Rogue.
After driving the 2014 Subaru Forester The choice was a no brainer.
Cade, the sales Manager was of great assistance and the whole team was very pleasant to work with and never pushy.
I highly recommend Hiley Subaru.

My experience was very bad here, I will not ever return.

After they diagnosed some problems with my car, I decided to take it home without making the repairs. When I picked it up, there was gasoline spilled inside my car (the access to the fuel filter is under backseat). The part that went into my gas tank was not properly, or even tightly replaced. The smell of fuel was so bad I could barely drive home. Once home, I found the hardware to parts they removed to inspect my engine were on the windshield wiper, not sure how they stayed on during the ride home, but there they were).

This was beyond sloppy, the fuel stuff was actually quite dangerous for a number of reasons.

So, I called the dealership manager twice. Not getting through, I left a detailed message both times, and he/she didn't even bother calling me back.
