We pride ourselves on having and continuing to serve generations of families in the North Texas area.  Our Great Grandfather sold some families their first car from Frank Kent  and we continue to sell the grand children and great grandchildren today. We have also been proudly serving the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas for over 75 years.

Please note that on the hours listed that Service is open Monday-Friday from 7-7 and on Saturday from 8-5.  Also that Sales is open Monday-Friday from 8-8 and on Saturday from 8-7

History

Established in 1935.

The Frank Kent family of dealerships began on the North Side of Fort Worth in 1935 when Mr. Kent opened a Ford store, where Billy Bobs is currently located.Then in 1953, Mr. Kent was offered the Cadillac franchise & thus relinquished his Ford store & eventually moved the Cadillac store to the corner of Main & Lancaster where it remained until 1985.In 1985, Frank Kent Cadillac relocated to the Benbrook traffic circle.In 1993, the Frank Kent family of dealerships purchased Bill McDavid Honda, Pontiac, GMC, Acura, Subaru, Lincoln, & Mercury.In 2009 Frank Kent sold Buick GMC to the Hiley Group. 2009 also presented the Frank Kent family of dealerships with a unique opportunity to represent the Fisker brand.The 1st premium electric extended range luxury vehicle.December of 2010 presented Frank Kent Honda with its new home across the freeway from its previous location where it had been for over 20 years. In the Spring of '13 Frank Kent added Hyundai to its family.

Rox returned my inquiry from the USAA auto buying guide within minutes and we communicated by text which for me is what I prefer by far. We settled on the car and price before I even left my house which was great because I live an hour away! When I got there it was as he stated in his texts. The right car and the same price which was the lowest in the metroplex. It was a pleasure to deal with an honest salesman for once!

I just purchased a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the premium package with leather seats.  Everyone we came into contact with from our salesman to his manager to the finance manager to the person responsible for new car inventory, were extremly helpful. They answered all my questions and once the car came in and I picked it up my salesman Pete H. showed me how to do everything.  Believe me I would not have bought my car from Frank Kent Hyundai had I not liked my salesman and the experience. I would definitely recommend your dealership to a friend or colleague.

On a Wednesday I saw they had the exact car I was looking for, 2012 Nissan Juke SV- Electric Blue-less (much less) than 50K miles. I immediately submitted the online inquiry and was called by Pete H. to set up an appointment for Saturday. In the days prior, I was contacted to confirm the appointment and even the morning of sent a friendly reminder e-mail. The transaction went super smooth as Pete H. was really helpful explaining our options for financing and everything about the car. The trade-in value was also excellent! We felt very much at ease and not bamboozled into purchasing a car. When we went to the financial office Scott was also very helpful with explaining the warranty options and aiding to pick the best warranty for me. I would definitely refer anyone I know to go to FK Hyundai and see Pete! I'm very pleased about my purchase and experience. I'm still working on a good nickname for the new "baby" :)

I Own a Honda and a Hyundai
I really like the service at the Frank Kent Honda place
When they bought the Hyundai dealership from Manuel auto group I had great hopes. However the service has been consistently worse then "before" and there is no sign of improvement
Last week i did an oil change. There was something wrong with my car.. Some parts were needed; they were not in stock. The parts were ordered and I made an appointment. I also left my cell number-in case the parts were not there They were supposed to call
Today I brought the car to the dealership. I left it there. An hour after getting home I got a call that one of the parts was not there. Probably got sent by mistake to another location and they are doing "everything possible"
This is not the first time they do things not right. The car is good and their is the only close by dealership so I will continue to go there; however I will not buy another Hyunday-not if I still live here and this dealership is still the only one arround

This is an update to my previous review which was one star
a few hours later I got a call from the dealership
they aknowledged their mistake
gave me a loaner car for one day and fixed mine
This is a good step forward service wise

I have been to many dealerships and have NEVER had the what anyone would say "good" experience. Well at Frank Kent Hyundai they were the best and I don't say that lightly. Rox Horton my salesman and John Lorio went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure that I got exactly what I needed in payment and a great rate as well. I didn't think I had a chance but they showed me I was wrong. I would strongly recommend these guys over any stealershhip in the Metroplex

Thanks to David bush and Nicholas Johnson for getting my family into a 2014 Santa Fe gls. Car buying is always a long process but they made it as enjoyable as possible. I tried to get this car from allen samuels (see my review I posted about that) and they were full of lies. Nicholas my sales guy was quite personable and David the GM kelp me informed the entire time even as he was locating a dealer trade since my new car was not in their inventory. Kudos guys.
