Callahan Motor Company in February of 2009 started out renting a single office and 15 parking spots in Watauga, TX. We out grew that facility and moved here to our present facility in Nov of 2009. Now we are approaching six years old as a company and over 250 cars and trucks for sale.

I will spare you all with the details unless you want to hear them (email me) but anyway DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT purchase a vehicle from here! The nightmare you could end up enduring and the danger you possibly will be in from doing so is extreme! Going to dealership Saturday April 25th at 10am if anyone else would like to protest their illegal, immoral and unethical practices!

Recently drove in to do some looking and as we were checking out the 4 door trucks (many to choose from) my wife and I were helped by Ed. He answered every question I had about each truck and was not the typical used car salesman. I asked about a trade in on my 94 Chevy suburban and Ed gave us a very fair price.
We ended up getting a good truck for a good price and had nothing but great service. Thanks again Ed and be careful crossing the street.

The company is being investigated.
They reply with mockery and still continue to use Deceptive
Trade Practices. Buyer Beware they have Google reviews that are deceiving.

My Husband and I were looking at Black Honda Accord with Ed Ribinskas, I was concerned because it was a used car. The inside was very clean and looked as if it had been taken care of well. So, we decided on doing the trade! That was 3 years and have been back to purchase a second car since.
What I love about Ed and Callahan Motors is you get friendly service without all the hassle! I read some of these other reviews and we simply have not had any troubles with our cars.
I would recommend Callahan to anyone!

The owner and staff were great to us as we bought our daughter her very first car.  This is a great dealership for a starter car or pick up as they have plenty of selection and great value for the money.  We will be back for sure.  thank you to everyone at Callahan's for making my daughter's first car buying experience memorable.

We were looking at a used small vehicle for my niece's first car.

We found one we liked and the car came with a 3 month/4500 mile 3rd party warranty.

We came to an agreement about an "out the door" price and shook hands on it. I left a deposit and came to pick up the car the next day.

That was when I found out that the warranty was no longer part of the deal. There was ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION of this the day before. So, rather than disappoint my niece who had already seen the car I continued on with the paperwork.

I had to buy the warranty for $250. I thought the owner was trying to make it right, but he came back offering a year warranty for $750. Just unbelievable...how is paying even more money supposed to be better? I think even his employees were baffled at what he was trying to accomplish.

Just excuses about their margin with no other attempt to make it right. Used to be when you shook a man's hand in Texas it meant something, but apparently not at this car dealer. Funny thing is their website shows our agreed to price WITH the warranty INCLUDED!! I have a printout and pdf of this for my complaint to the BBB.

We were wrapping up when they reminded us about their referral program which got a big chuckle from my wife and I. Then tried to bribe me with a $25 gift card to put a good review online. Told them I would have to pass.

To top it off something on the dash broke on the drive home when supposedly they inspect these things before selling. Thought I had finally found the one different car dealer, but they must not exist.

This place is garbage. Bought a used truck from here. They failed to clean it. Inspect it, and fix damaged parts that they claimed they eould do upon purchase. Truck would not pass inspection after many attempts to reset the computer. Then when i threatened to take the truck to the dmv they attempted to repo the truck. Keep in mind they had no legal right to this. As i had litteraly just purchased the vehicle two weeks prior. Do not do buisness here. you will be screwed. They will smile at you. Then screw you on paper.

WARNING!!! STAY AWAY!  First off I tried to negotiate on the price because KBB said quoted a lower price for the vehicle in "excellent" condition and they told me yeah but it doesn't account for the low mileage (which it does).  They would not negotiate but since my car's motor just locked up and totaled the vehicle I needed a new one soon.  After I purchased the car as soon as I got it in the driveway the check oil and check engine light came on.  The next day I had a mechanic I trust check it out and he showed me where it had been wrecked (The Carfax didn't show it but the dealer knew and when I asked he said "Oh no it's clean")  and that it need motor repair.  When I called the dealer back they just bashed my mechanic and that it "probably only needed an oil change."  I cancelled the financing and took the car back, and when I told him why he accused me of lying to the lender and wouldn't give me my $1000 down payment back.

Passive aggressive salesmanship, they will laugh with you then in the numbers the will screw you. If you find a price online make sure you call them on it because they will easily price you at 15% past that amount and think its a fair deal.
