History

Established in 1973.

Mr. Bob Hoy purchased the existing Volkswagen dealership in 1973 on the corner of I-10 and Airway in El Paso. The dealership family has since grown to 8 automobile franchises in 3 different locations. Franchises now represented include Acura, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Volkswagen, Toyota, Scion, and Lexus - and that doesn't include two Certified Pre-Owned showrooms and a quality pre-owned showroom that offers in-house financing.

Before his retirement in 1999, Bob Hoy served on the Volkswagen National Dealership Advisory Council 3 times and was selected to the prestigious Volkswagen Vanguard Society 3 times. Since then, Steve Fox and Steve Hoy have been actively involved in numerous automobile councils and organizations.

Steve Fox joined Hoy in 1975 as parts manager and is now CEO and principal shareholder of Hoy Fox Automotive Corp. Steve Hoy joined Hoy Fox in 1986 and is vice president/general manager.

I just signed for my 2014 Passat TDI and let me tell you it wasn't an easy deal especially since I was so upside down from my lease thru Hoy Fox VWas a result of A LOT of miles. Seeing as how my miles were racking upon my 2014 VW Golf TDI, it was important for me to get rid of it. Unfortunately, even with my great credit and joint income with my husband it was going to be a hard financing due to how much we were upside down and how little my car was going to be worth in comparison to how much we owes. My husband and I's silver lining was the incredible help from Oscar, Larry, Evelyn, and Isael. They were able to make a miracle happen, crunch numbers and help me pick out the best car I've owed so far. Without their help I would be drowning in the continuously depreciating leased vehicle instead of an amazing new PURCHASED vehicle. My husband and I are very blessed and forever grateful for creating this opportunity for us. Thank you thank you THANK you!!

Me and my hubby were looking for a car for about two weeks, we stumbled upon a used car for my hubby at this location. We were immediately helped by Rigo who is awesome by the way. We test drove the car and fell he loved it (the hubs, who is very picky) he decided to get the car, so we went to sign the contract and what have you, there was problems with the loan (on our part) but the whole team at Hoy Fox never stopped helping us, Rigo kept our spirits up and made sure we walked away happy and satisfied. Awesome service!

I thought I had made my appointment online days before. When I got to the dealership, Ernie apologized about the inconvenience and explained a new internet program was in place that still had glitches, so no appointment was ever made. Regardless, Ernie managed to take my car in and help me out in full. He quickly assessed what could be the problem (he assessed correctly) and had me on my way. He told me to expect a call by lunch time, which I did not receive until 4pm. But when I did, it was so that I could pick up my car. Over all a pleasing experience.

Went in because of the great Sign then Drive event for a new Jetta S sedan and within 15 minutes had already done our test drive and had several no nonsense lease options for the car that were perfectly in line with the advertised deal. There was never any pressure and Moises as well as the sales manager (who's name I forget) never made us feel uncomfortable or unimportant. Far and away the best new car experience I have ever had. I love my new car!
