Did not get a good feeling from Texas Import Sales! Seems to be  an auction clearing house for upper end cars.  Called in and inquired about a car they had listed to find out it was sold.  When the salesman found out that I was not interested in anything else in their inventory he practically hung up the phone on me...He had a very slippery, sleazy demeanor...you would have to be nuts to buy something from these people....Trust your instincts and run away....

an auction clearing house for upper end cars...I believe mostly coming out of leases.  You have to REALLY go over the car you are looking at.  I'm an ex mechanic and still missed some things.  Things I did NOT miss were the number of items not as described...tires listed as 90%- not even, when measured 50% and closer to 40%.  Terrible buff marks through the paint that would have been so much better left alone.  A number of bad paint touch-ups that on the phone I was assured did not exist.  No floor mats-missed that one.  5 weeks to get my title and license plate and I believe would have been longer had I not constantly called.  Bottom line- do not get something here with out plenty of time allowed to take to a shop and have thoroughly checked out and even then,  be careful.  They have a formula of offering the mega eye candy...priced pretty much retail and not haggling much...letting the incredible sea of exotics at their location dazzle the eye...it works..just be careful

Bought a car here a few months back...

1) the 3rd party vendors they work with are a joke, the company that delivered my car was over a week late and a huge panel underneath my car was half torn off

2) the company that inspected my car missed a few big things, like a check engine light that came on moments after the car was delivered..  i think they reset the light and it came on the same day the car was deliver.. a battery that was nearly dead.. replaced it less then a month after I got the car because the car became harder and harder to start.

3) then the actual dealership.. they lost my title, I kept calling to ask where is was and they were telling me it was in "processing" final I got it out of them that they lost it.. and apparently a few other customers as well.

4) did I mention that they forgot to tell me that my car was a repo as well. All in all I will never deal with this dealer again and I advise you to do your homework before you buy from them.. Make sure the car isn't a repo, get independent transport for your car as well as an inspection independently... don't trust them to recommend good 3rd party vendors to you.

5) The car was a little more beat up then expected there are two chip in the windshield, a couple of nicks that where in the picture the center console glove box doesn't work properly to name a few.

Buying on the internet is a risky game.. I won't be doing it again.

Do NOT trust this dealer. I was looking at a 2012 Porsche (still on their site as of 8/21/12).  I got a huge red flag from their finance guy when I told him I would not go through with the sale until a Porsche dealer inspected the car and he was like, "It is a new car...nothing is wrong with it." What a bunch of lies. Now I know why they did not want me to get it inspected...On the Carfax report, it clearly said this car was in a wreck, had to be towed, & the airbag deployed! They should have told me this from the beginning. This was the REAL reason the price was was so good. The salesman and the finance guy told me the price was so low b/c their margins were so low...what a bunch is B.S.  I am sending this review to all my family and friends and posting it on every social media group I belong to. Companies like this need to be put out of business!!
