Reviews on Park Place Porsche Dallas

I'm confused as to why the dealership would even _try_ to respond to this review.

Firstly, yes, I'd actually come down with the flu and was unable to test drive the car two days prior to us driving all the way up to Dallas, but so what?  Customers should be able to test drive cars when and as they can.  I'm not sure I see your point.

Besides, my issue wasn't that Park Place was _having_ an event the night we test drove, my issue was that Wade made no mention of it.  While we don't mind party-mode, this was not an environment conducive to business.  There's a time and place for everything, and with a little professionalism, Park Place would understand this wasn't it.  Period.

Finally, I'm blown away that Park Place seems to think they can pat themselves on the back for a job well done on this one.

Job EXTREMELY NOT well done.  Job terribly done.  The service on this vehicle was done by another dealership ENTIRELY.  Park Place's inspection was lax, as a matter of fact, it was so _sloppy_ that they missed huge issues that had to be taken care of elsewhere.  Yes, we're all lucky that Park Place's oversight didn't end up costing me more, and that Hyundai's warranty covered the work, but again... that's no win for Park Place Porsche.

It seems that the ego also matches the price tag, it's just too bad that the service and the quality assurance is no where in the same ballpark.

We took our Porsche (about 18 months old) in to the dealership for body work in October. It is now March and they still have no idea when the car will be completed. They told me that Porsche has quit making the parts required to reassemble the car.I find that hard to believe. I think it is mismanagement at Park Place. Either way avoid this dealership.

I have never had such a smooth car buying experience. My husband test drove the car. He left to go back to work and we were able to work out the deal through email and phone conversations. Went back and signed the papers that night and left within 30 minutes. Just WOW! So nice to not have to sit there for hours waiting. We bought a used vehicle and we feel we got a great deal and the staff is super friendly and professional. Now....if only I could afford a Porsche. :)

Service dept  has become a discourteous arrogant time waster. I purchased my boxer at park place in 2008 and for a couple of years the service dept  was reasonably efficient. Today I have a headlight out. I called and made an appointment for  2:30 and arrived right on time. I was made to "have a seat and wait " for a service adviser to check the car in. After 15 minutes of being ignored while the advisor had a prolonged phone conversation I finally got the car checked in. So they say it will be about 20 minutes. Since they took so long to check the car in I now do not have the time to wait to get it washed also(a usual part of their service).  The last time I had the car in it was a 20 min wait  to get the service advisor to check the car in.  I didn't buy a relatively expensive car to be treated poorly when  it requires a minor repair. I'll try another dealer next time I need service. May trade in for a tesla

Keith Beitter is the internet sales manager at Park Place Porsche. I have never met Keith Beitter in person. But I did get a 991 Carrera from him. And I'd do it again.

I live in Los Angeles, CA. There are 4-5 dealerships within a stone's throw away from where I live. Yet the service was terrible: the reps were snobby and nobody seemed motivated to sell.

Keith was no-nonsense, polite, and willing to make a deal. It was a breath of fresh air. I kept waiting to get screwed. I kept waiting for the bait-and-switch. It never came.

Now I purchased the car sight unseen. Was I worried? Yes. But when the car arrived at my doorstep I was relieved. Not only was I relieved but everything was in perfect order. Every request I made was fulfilled. Keith exceeded and surpassed my expectations.

Even after the sale, when I had some concerns about paperwork Keith was more than willing to advise and assist.

If I stick with Porsche and decide on the C2S in 2 years, I'll be tracking down Keith Beitter hands down.

Thank you again for a painless and wonderful transaction.

Love my car!

I should have known from the bad reviews that this place needed to be avoided at all costs... I came here to get my porsche cayenne inspected which they assured me would take about 40 minutes...a day and a half later I called and they still hadn't touched my car! Didn't know who I was even though I had been calling several times and when I asked when they possibly could get my car done they said "maybe tomorrow sometime" Seriously? Three days for a simple inspection?? I had to drive over pick it up and then drive over to another shop and drop it off for them to do which they did incredibly quickly and well- I highly recommend European Service Center on Cedar Springs- anyway Park Place Porsche service is aweful.

They do an ok job, but can not hold a candle to the Porsche of North Houston dealership.  :-/

They will get the job done, at a minimum competent level.

I will go back when I need to.

The scripted customer service is really sickening.

The children working there really do not know the business of fine automobiles.

I think they just have watched to much TV and played to many video games :-/

Took my 2012 SUV in for routine maintenance, and asked for the car to be ready for a trip, they did not complete the fluids, or check the windshield wipers, when the snow hit, the windshield wipers had not been replaced, and I needed to keep pulling over to scrap the front windshield.  It is not improving!  You pay a lot for the service and it is not rocket science, visibility is a safety issue.

I can only image the scripted costumer service statements that I would look forward to.  I will simply stop using the service.

Terrible.....the Porsche dealership experience is the WORST I have ever been subjected to enduring.  Can I give a ZERO?.....the most awful experience ever.  Did not buy.....lousy everything.  Run away from here.

I took my son in to buy him a car for CASH - I had a $70,000 budget cap and as this was his first new car I went with him.

The salesman supposedly couldn't find the keys and then disappered for 15 minutes while we sat.  Then the salesmanager came over and asked what I was buying the car for?  Duh...we wanted to buy a new car!  Then the General Manager came over (still no test drive) and I felt I was at sujected to an inquisition.  They kept insinuating that we were buying the car for someone else. HUH?

Then the General Manager just said "we don't want to sell you a car-  nothing personal"  I replied "you just made it personal" and we got up to leave he snidely said, while sitting like a king in his throne chair  "you gentleman have a nice day, thanks for coming in".  To lower himself to be crass, snide and rude was inexplicable and I am on a mission to to ensure NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND will ever darken this dealerships door.  45 Minutes of my life was wasted at a high line dealership that treated us like they were a sleazy used car operation.

It is evident from other reviews of this dealership that this must be a normal course of business to have a air of superiority, be insulting and rudely accost, mislead and mistreat their cliensts.

I have to say in dealing with the other dealerships in this group previously that they are professional and honest - hopefully with reviews they will see they have bad management in place and counsult and train this General Manager as his attitude is permeating this entire dealership experience and tainting their name.  From my  experience a new General Manager would be in the best interest of this group.

We immediately left and paid cash at another Dealership and two days later bought another vehicle - as I was going to buy a vehicle that day also.  I would have bought another High Line from one of their other dealerships for myself but they drove us away forever.

Bought our third car there, I had only given them 3 stars the last time but what a difference two years makes.  We were in and out in less then an hour.  Very happy with the service.

Love our new Panamera!

During the negotiations for a car, via the internet, I specifically asked for the availability of a car. After being assured it was available, obtaining financing, obtaining insurance, making an appt to purchase the car. As I was preparing to drive from Austin to Dallas when I learned they sold the car out from under me. There was no apology. It seems this is a standard practice. After speaking with Mr. Houston, the General Manager, he paraphrased, while customer service is important, selling cars is the "bottom line" .. it's "what we do".

So, while that model might serve to make a quick sale, I don't know that it's the best model to take care of customers, and more important to foster repeat business. Thus I cannot recommend Park Place Porsche. I believe Mr. Kenneth Schnitzer, and the team he has put together have a short sighted approach to customer service. I can't say that the trust he has placed in Mr Patrick Houston, Mr. Jeff Clairmont or Mr. Jordan Misrak is warranted.

Thus, unless you're dealing locally, steer clear of internet sales.

I rate this dealership very poor in this regard.

I see there are some rough reviews regarding parts and service departments here. I can't speak to that, but I can very easily give the sales and finance departments five stars.

My purchase experience here was the smoothest I have ever had, and I have bought a lot of cars. The professionalism and integrity of the people I dealt with, Jason Putnam in sales (there are two Jasons) and Adam for finance/paperwork, were on par with the exceptional service I received at my Atlanta Benz dealer (see review). I got a better deal on financing with the dealership than I was able to find on my own, and Jason and Adam did all the necessary work to be able to get me in and out in no time. Remember spending four or five hours at a car dealer just to check out? Once I knew the car I wanted, it was less than an hour's work to get the entire deal done and signed up.

If you told me three years ago that I would be giving five star reviews to not one but two car dealers, I would have thought you were nuts. I have had extensive experience with Jaguar, BMW, Infiniti and other dealers, and can recount more nightmarish experiences than I care to. None of them deserved a positive review. It is refreshing to get the level of professionalism you expect when making such a significant purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend Park Place if you're in the market to purchase a Porsche. As I said previously, I can't say anything about parts or service.

I stopped by the parts department at Park Place Porsche yesterday to get a new set of floor mats. The lady at the parts desk was very helpful and nice. However, the gentleman who looked for the parts in inventory was a total jerk, and he was so adept at being a jerk that he must have a lot of experience in jerk sciences.

The lady at the pars dept desk called back to him and told him what I needed. He asked her about the carpet color and she in turn asked me. I told her the carpet was grey. The guy then informed her that there were two different colors of grey and asked which it was. I did not know which shade of grey carpet I had. The man stormed out from the back and stomped and pouted his way to my car to look at the color. Then stormed back into the parts department full of attitude. I actually found it quite amusing. However, from now on I'll drive a few miles more to Boardwalk Porsche for all of my service, purchases, etc.

I'd had some service issues with Park Place Porsche- throwing out used parts that I wanted saved, a car that spent three and a half months in their body shop for work that should've taken two weeks, car returned dirty.  I had some great sales experiences there, but most of the personnel that made the place great ten years ago have since moved on.

I know my rating is a bit harsh, but a polished image doesn't make up for the bad experiences I had with this dealership.
