The salesperson that called me in regards to my potential lease of a 2015 Acura MDX was helpful...up until the point where they would not even give me a preliminary quote until I gave them my social security number so they could pull my credit.

No way. I'm sorry, but every dealership in the DFW area has been able to at least give me a preliminary quote without a credit pull. I get that the numbers won't be definite, but my car budget and the deal I am getting is important to me.

I'll give D&N one star for being friendly over email, and one more star for supporting the Ticket with their advertising all these years.  Because of the ads on 1310 AM / 96.7 FM, I decided to check with them first to consider leasing a used car.  I wanted to try a Range Rover out for a couple of years to see how they hold up before investing in a new one.  

D&M loses stars due to not being able to answer questions on email.  I don't give my number out because I don't want to get calls.  I asked specific and direct questions over email that resulted in getting the runaround and multiple requests for my phone number, but no answers.  All I really wanted to know was their residual value on a 2011 Range Rover with 30k miles under a 3-year, 18,000 mi/yr lease.  Beyond that, I have a calculator and can guess that they would add a few assessorial charges to a monthly payment.  

The only answers they were willing to provide by email were sales prices for two cars they had on their site, but the prices they sent were higher than the prices they had the same cars listed for on cars.com (specifically, stock number 8BA716615 was $44,800 per email vs. $44,000 on cars.com , and stock number 7BA290464 was $41,000 per email vs. $38,500 on cars.com ).  I'm guessing part of the issue is that they can't quote a firm residual if they don't have a firm selling price.  

I understand what they are trying to do, but I feel like D&M hasn't advanced to the point of understanding that not all car buyers are the same, acknowledging that buyers now have access to more information than in the past, and accepting that buyers understand leasing and car buying better now than ever before.  

All I ask is that you are easy to do business with, and I'll give you five stars even if you are overpriced and I don't buy from you.  But D&M made it hard for me.  Other than Sewell, I'm guessing no car dealer in town is easy to work with.

Wow, I can't believe that I have to give these guys one star just to post my review because they don't even deserve that. The person who manages their FB page is shady and likes to delete my posts to prevent people from really knowing how crappy they are. My mother in-law is trying to stop a lease from D&M because my father in-law passed away and the lease is under his name. At this point, we just want to end the contract and return the car. So we have actually been proactive and have been trying to reach out to someone. Called 5 times and was promised someone would call back. Someone called back finally and said that he tried to call back but we gave him the wrong call back number.  He then proceeded to tell us that he will find someone to call us back again since he's been on vacation. Excuses excuses. It's been 3-4 weeks now and we've yet to get someone to reach out. D&M, is this how you treat your customers whose spouse just passed away? My mother in-law is just wanting to return the car. They don't make it easy. And it's very disappointing. Shame on you, D&M, shame on you.

I recently called D&M to inquire about leasing a vehicle, they are great to work with...unless you decide to go somewhere else.  I talked with one of the salespeople several times throughout the day, answering a multitude of questions.  When the salesperson finally came back with options for me, they were far too expensive, much more than I had told them I wanted to pay especially for a used vehicle.  Also, the salesperson was trying to push the refinance of my other vehicle, that I had said from the beginning that I didn't want to mess with at all.  I simply wanted a reliable, small, inexpensive car to drive to work for the next 2-3 years, something that I could get out of easily when I was ready to buy what I really wanted.  When I told the salesperson that I had also been talking with another dealership, and that we were going to go with the other dealerships offer (cheaper, new car), the direct quote from them is "Well, why did you even call us?".  I replied by telling them, I think it is pretty standard to shop around for the best deal, not simply go with the first offer that comes up.  This person has called several times after I told them no, wanting to know details of the deal with the other dealership.  Each time this person calls, they are more condescending and rude than the last.

I will not be calling them back when I am ready to lease or buy another vehicle, I am very glad that I did not end up going through them, I am sure their customer service would have nose-dived after the papers were signed.

My husband was looking into leasing a truck. There was a salesperson named Amanda helping him. We discussed the lease and decided it would be too much per month. My husband called and told her and said that we were not going to lease at this time. She could not take no for an answer. She had to talk to me, and Amanda told me that we needed to move on this deal. She said she studies trends and knew my husband was going to get another vehicle. I told her we were not going to lease, and she wanted to know why about 5 different times in the conversation. No is No! Do not try to pry into my personal life just to make a sale. Ridiculous!

I purchased  a Toyota highlander sometime ago from these guys. It was not a very good experience. I eventually traded the car in after it began to fall apart. I had purchased the car on ebay, dumb. I had the car checked out by an accredited mechanic. Later I found out he was friends with the guys at the dealership. When I picked up my car it was raining and it was impossible  to really notice any body issues. It drove fine and seemed to be alright. I returned home, went to bed and realized when I went to look at the car the hood had around 50 rock chips. The chips looked like they had been touched up by a palsy monkey. I called Chris and told him i was very disappointed and what could be done. He said he would get back to me. After weeks of calling nothing. I finally spoke to a manager almost two months later and he told me I could drive it back up to Dallas and have there paint shop do the repairs but I would have to pay for the work. Lets see, drive to Dallas-60.00 gas, rent a car while repairs are being done-80.00, hotel stay 150.00, missing work 300.00, and eating 100.00. Than pay for the repairs 300-400. I wound up paying 800.00 to have the hood repainted in Austin. On top of that I found out that the clear coat on the Toyota was in bad shape on the entirety of the car. The  headlights would fill up with water when it rained,and the suspension had many issues. If you buy a car from these guys have your personal mechanic check out the vehicle. My experience was one you would expect from a shady used car lot. I am sure it is not always the case but for me it was. Take your chances.

I posted this review here as well because this company now goes by two names but are the same owners.

I haven't leased a car from them just yet (who knows? maybe in my near future?) but my husband purchased a truck from D&M.  We work with Condae, who is awesome.  He's friendly and knowledgable and will give you all the straight facts!  He even helped me get out from under a car I was severely upside down on!  If you're in the market to buy or lease, DEFINITELY get with Condae - he'll get you a great deal and will always steer you in the right direction!

I had high hopes for D&M when I was in the market for a new or used vehicle.  I was excited to see their broad selection of high quality used vehicles which could be purchased or leased.  I'm a very informed leaser, who has leased or helped others help lease several vehicles, including Infiniti's and Mercedes, and have created a spreadsheet which can calculate lease payments down to the penny once I know the sales price, residual, money factor, and taxes/fees.  So I called D&M to get a sense for these numbers on some of their used cars so I could proceed to lease a vehicle from them.  I was ready to go.

When I was connected to their sales rep, I was appalled at how I was spoken to.  She clearly did not know how a lease worked, and was very condescending in how she spoke to me.  She proceeded to make statements like "I've been doing this for 19 years," but refused to answer any of my direct questions on money factors or residuals on specific used cars.  She said the only way to do that is to pull my credit, which at that point I was not comfortable to do.  I let her know we have top tier credit and are fully qualified financially, and stated she could pull my credit once I have a sense of what their residuals and money factors are on some of the used vehicles.   At this point she suggested I might be better suited for one of their "junior associates" or "interns" and asked if I could hold so she could connect me.  She said, they can try to pull the numbers you need.  At this point, we asked for a manager because we wanted to believe this was an isolated incident.  She then informed me that she is a manger and asked again if she could connect us with one of their interns.  At this point, we had heard enough and told her we were insulted with how she was speaking to us and ended the conversation.  

I've had the same conversations with dealerships ranging from Mazda, to BMW, to Mercedes, and Infiniti, and never had issues getting answers to the same questions.

I would not recommend anyone call D&M Auto Leasing if this is how they treat their clients, especially during the "sales" period of a discussion.  This was very disappointing after hearing all of their ads claiming how easy they make the sales process.

I highly recommend not using D&M Leasing. Our lease through a dealership was coming to an end and D&M said they would buy the car and then put us in a new car. They said they were handling everything with the previous dealership and we were good to go. Not so much. We have received numerous calls from the dealership asking if we're going to purchase the car .... the one that D&M took and supposedly purchased from the dealership. Now we one day away from the end of our original lease with the dealership and our credit is about to go down the toilet. D&M sold the car to someone else even though they did not own the car yet and now want us to take the already sold car back to that dealership, buy it with money that D&M has given us and then hand them over the car. We've been in the new car for a month and should be having to deal with this. Basically D&M made some big mistake when they supposedly 'purchased' the car from the dealership and instead of just coughing up  $ to fix the problem, they are asking us to do something sneaky to get them out of the problem they are in. VERY poor customer service and we will definitely NOT be using D&M when our second car lease is up this summer like we had thought. Don't believe the ads they put on the ticket - STAY AWAY!

Just got finished wrapping up, working with Kevin Young @ D&M.

I ended up really upside down on a car I purchased 18 months ago. It was BAD! Bad decision on my part, horrible interest rate and not the car that I really desired in the first place.

After listening to 1310 The Ticket for a number of years, I always hear the Musers in the morning talking about how great D&M is. Sure- I know it's a "bit" and that they are paid to do advertising. However, after calling them, I have nothing but respect for this company.

Kevin Young responded to my online request immedietely, asked all the right questions, listened to my situation and started working for me ASAP. Within 24 hours, he had found the exact type of car I needed to get me OUT of my bad situation.

I now have a GREAT outlook on my car situation. A few years from now, I will have a vehicle that will hold the depreciation value steady so I won't lose my ass on a next vehicle. Also, my payments were held about the same WITH a BETTER interest rate. That was the awesome part for me.

In conclusion- better car, better interest rate and better customer service. I have my sales person's email, cell phone and he has been super responsive on all my unusual requests. If you are in the market for a new car or just want to trade up, call Kevin @ D&M, let him know you saw my Yelp review and watch the guy go to work!

Crooks. They led my husband to believe at lease end, he would only be left with a balloon payment of $9,000. What they didn't disclose to him is this did not apply if the black wholesale value exceeded $9,000.
Also, after the salesperson has made the deal, reaching them becomes really difficult.  All on all, they are horrible to work with.
