Reviews on Audi Dallas

Adam F. of Audi Dallas.  The car wash is the symptom of a disease called POOR CUSTOMER CARE, as your 2.5 star rating reflects.  So today I arrive at 9;15 for a carwash.  I like my day to begin with disappointment early,  then just get better.  As usual Audi Dallas true to form, informed me "car wash service does not begin till 10:00 am NOW and it comes with an automatic 60 minute wait".  Really!  That's how Audi Dallas "FIXS THE PROBLEM!?  That tells me Audi Dallas does not want to honor their offer,  that they are cheap & careless with their words & have no one in their organization who really cares, NO ONE TO EDIT POORLY THOUGHT OUT IDEAS!   It tells me, Audi is popular NOW & will barely honor their policy, but they will enjoy watching their customers "JUMP THROUGH HOOPS" to get that service.   A room full of FAKE SMILES!     AUDI DALLAS, where we don't raise our standards, we lower your expectations!

Worst place to buy a vehicle. I bought a CPO 2011 Audi A4 in April 2012 from this place. I had so many issues with this dealership ranging from Title to mechanical problems. I even lodge a complaint with BBB (Case # 91255120), All in vain. Future buyers please beware of the tactics they play to get you in. If you accidentally make that mistake to deal with them. Get your documents checked by a professional.

Awful service. They never have loaners available - you have to book service a week in advance in order to get a loaner car (although they sell you on the fact that they have A7 and S7 loaners).

They also don't have a collision center so if you get in an accident they won't provide you with a loaner because "your vehicle has to be on the premises to provide a loaner." They do not go out of their way to be customer-friendly.

Just not very impressed.

I wanted to update my review. I took my car in for maintenance work done, and I have to say the level of service this time around was excellent. I really think it had to do with my adviser, Jordan.. who was awesome.

If you do bring your car in for maintenance or repairs, I recommend having Jordan as your adviser. Thanks for taking care of the whole process from beginning to end. Excellent service department.

Where do I start?...Preface- just moved to Dallas and as a 3rd time Audi owner, very sad I had to leave my perfect Penske dealership in San Diego...but every Audi dealership should be awesome right?.....

I came into Audi last week due to a recall on my 2014 A4 airbags. Something I already wish I didn't have to do. I broke away from work to get over to Audi Dallas to drop off my car. The way the dealership is set up on the service side is annoying-no where to set my bag down or get organized, as the guy is about to drive off with my car while I am still getting things out. But that's no ones fault.
The service gentlemen was actually very nice (Eric Munoz-I think). I quickly got my loaner Audi and was out of there. I work downtown - so 3.38 miles away! I received a call a couple hours later that my car was done and headed right back to the dealership.
This is where the absurdity begins...I show up to the dealership-my service guy isn't there- there is no one but this poor guy who has been working there for about a minute and a few other young service mechanics looking like they all don't know what to do. They pull up my car FINALLY-oooppsss it's not mine. They search and search for my keys and someone comes out and says they can't find my keys. I point to where my car is on the parking lot because they said they can't find the car either. 10 more minutes....the pull up my car....OOPPPsss...NOT my car again...after I SHOW them which car is mine.
Okay...I finally get my car. It's filthy. Dirt everywhere inside. I am so used to Audi in San Diego, protecting my carpets and giving my car a quick wash before handing it back over to me. Oh! And when I say they brought my car....the mechanic drove it up...and left without a word. Keep in mind-there is NO MANAGER-NO SERVICE REP to help, to say good-bye. Other customers are driving up and looking around aimlessly as well. Ha!
So I am about to drive away when a lady waves her hands at me and tells me I can't go. They pulled the A3 back around to the front and proceeded to tell me that I hit something with the loaner car, causing a plastic part to fall off that I am now responsible for and need to pay. My mouth just about dropped to the floor. I am a very honest person, and if I were to hit something I would have said something and happily paid. But this was the furthest from the truth!!!! The person before me probably drove this LOANER car and hit something and it fell off on my dime. I proceeded to tell this lady that I didn't do a thing and I drove 3 miles to work and back AND I park in a private garage. I seriously had NOO idea what was happening. But to make it worse...she was completely rude and not understanding. I asked to speak to the manager after the fact tears are rolling down my face because I am late to a meeting and I can't believe this lady is accusing me of hitting something when I didn't!
After about 15 minutes of waiting she comes back to tell me that the manager is in a conference call all day and can't speak to me. WHAT?! great customer service! I insisted to her that this was all a mistake and I am not paying for the loaner car. She kept telling me to put myself in HER shoes and AUDI'S shoes and that I would want my car fixed. What an ABSURD thing to say. You gave me a loaner car that a hundred people have driven!
I wasn't budging-so she went back to her manager and came back out....pulled me into a small private office- which was RIDICULOUS! and told me..."I suggest you pay for the car". And I said I am not paying...I didn't do anything to the car! She just shook her head at me and said, if I don't pay...then they just can't be of service to me in the future. I said okay, again so upset that I just wiped my tears and walked out.
1. I am a 3 time Audi owner!!! Your plastic piece probably cost nothing for you to fix and you have probably made that money on me a thousand times over. Out of good business, you think you would say..."it happens" ..don't worry and we look forward to SERVICING YOU AGAIN! I am not some Joe Smith off the street...you should treat your LOYAL customers with respect.
2. I had asked to set up an appointment (before all this) with a sales rep to look into getting another Audi- SUV. This is NOT HAPPENING here. Simple bad service like this should never happen and will truly prevent people from giving you their business.
3. I called corporate Audi immediately and they said they would have the manager call me. THAT hasn't happened....he must still be on that "conference call".

You lost a customer, Audi Dallas. Your Loss. And I just hope that "manager" realizes how he and his staff are treating their customers. I even gave this review a few days to write, HOPING and really thinking a manager would call and apologize. But NOPE!

I really hope the next person gets treated better than I did! I guess they don't care about loyalty.

Fort Worth Audi has weirdos! Don't go there! Go to Dallas and save yourself!

Renae V. | 2014-10-22

Had a wonderful experience at Audi Dallas for my car's first routine maintenance check-up. My service person Julie was very courteous and communicated with me clearly throughout the day as I waited for my car. They also provided a loaner that was exactly like my car, which was nice. Every time I've walked in, someone has immediately come to assist me, no matter their position or job. I personally met the general manager Randy Rogers and can tell from his friendly and professional nature that he runs a happy and equally professional crew. Would highly recommend for service or if your in the market for a new car.

R F. | 2014-10-02

Terrible service department.  If you want a loaner car you are at least a week out to schedule an appointment.  Had a check engine light go off.  Did not want to wait over a week to get a loaner so I just put the car in and got alternate transportation.  On day three, they informed me they still had not even gotten it in to the shop to look at it.  I should have taken it to Lord of the Rings for this service issue.  They just told me they could diagnose the check engine light, while I wait.

Nita P. | 2014-09-29

I've never had better service at a car dealership in my life - ever.  Just had to take my Q5 in for some funny noise...turns out nothing big - just a computer issue so got my loaner and in/out with ease.  Jordan, my service writer, is the BEST as far as customer service goes.  He returns calls in less than an hour, always has a smile and sits down to visit for a few minutes when I come in (even though I'm positive he's slammed busy).  Audi is a luxury car...they make the service aspect a luxury experience.  Although I've asked questions about new cars and trading my car in, I've never felt lke turning cars is part of the service process at this dealership.  It's a nice treat to get my car taken care of and feel so appreciated as a customer.

Just moved here from Atlanta and just bought a used Audi S4 from a private seller.  Had trouble with car already so looked for dealership near me.  Drove in near end of day on a Tuesday.  Short wait for assistance, no big deal.  It was near the end of the day and everyone was picking up their cars.  Finally left details with service advisor, noting the main concern and them some extra "while I'm here" issues to price out.   They said it would be Thursday before they could even get it in to be seen -- which seems ridiculous.   I didn't expect it to be fixed that quickly but to have to wait two days just to find out what was wrong seems too long.  Didn't hear from anyone, so I finally tried to call early Thursday afternoon.  Couldn't find advisors card (my fault) so went online to find phone number.  Called number on web, only to get generic recording over and over.  Finally got thru and was told it would be a little longer before he knew the details.  So again, I wait.  Get a call an hour or so later with the news.   I am shocked by the price so I tell him I will call back after discussing priorities with my husband.  I have a meeting and can't call back immediately, so I tell my husband to call.  He tries (also using number on web because I'm not home to dig for the card), but only gets recording, not a human.  Near 4pm, the service advisor calls and says he's about to leave so he wanted to find out what we were going to do.  I tell him we had been trying to reach him but the phone number we got off the web wasn't getting us to him.  I asked if he would call my husband instead, only to be told "Well if he doesn't answer, it will have to wait until tomorrow because I'm walking out the door."   Well excuse me for expecting you to perhaps help me out a little and go a little above and beyond to stay a few extra minutes --- or even pass me off on someone else who will still be there, which would have been fine.   I thought you were open until at least 6pm and it wasn't even 4pm yet.....    So he calls my husband and they talk, approving certain things and delaying others.  My husband specifically asks about the main reason we had it there (the convertible top would not work) and was assured they had found what was wrong.   We had specifically asked about the switch which we felt was also malfunctioning, but was told they found what was wrong.   Low and behold, next day we get a call --- "The switch is broken.  $300 more...."     I finally pick up the car on Saturday around lunchtime.  The exterior of the car is filthy with greasy fingerprints all over the front, side and back.    For over $1500 in repairs, I would have expected a courtesy wash -- or at the very least, someone with a rag walking around and wiping off the grease.    Won't go back.  Will find another place to do the rest of the work.  And just so you know, I do know the difference in service offerings at Dallas dealerships.  The second day we lived here, someone side-swiped my Ford F150 and took off the drivers side mirror.  I called a Ford Dealer near my house on a Monday morning.  They said they would look for the part and call me back.   10 minutes later I got a call -- and an appointment for 3pm the same day.  Took it in and was back on the road by 5pm.  With a CLEAN truck, washed and vacuumed for me.  And the service advisor adjusted the cost to help me out since I was new to town.  Still was $500, but I happily paid it in return for their prompt and courteous service.  I WILL go back to that dealership....  (Oh and we've also owned an Audi before and had wonderful service at our Atlanta dealership so yeah, I can't tell a vast difference in Audi service too.)

Audi Dallas sales department spends a LOT of time trying to get you to trade in your one or two year old Audi to them and suddenly, they cannot offer anything to you for the trade in. I wonder if the management there is really out to lunch. TOTAL disconnect between sales associates and management and even bigger disconnect between sales and service. Lucky for you if you can even get someone to answer the phone in either department. Dont even try to make an appointment either place....just show up and act like you have nothing to do and wait around. That is exactly what they are doing.

M V. | 2014-08-29

I've been dealing with a full handful of Audi dealers over the past month- Houston, Austin, Dallas and Plano.

Will say that the experience I had at the Lemmon location was absolutely dreadful. The typical car salesman experience no one wants to endure. They gave me an offer which I wasn't happy with or willing to agree to. Talked me into signing to say I would be ok with the price without commitment and then once I signed they asked me where my deposit was? Seriously?!

I say go a few more miles up North and you will get the service any car buyer should get.

Leslie N. | 2014-08-17

GO see Brandon Davis.  He will help you get the car you want.

Linda D. | 2014-08-12

I bought my first Audi (Q5) and I am so very pleased with their efforts in helping make this happen.  Yaw was my salesman, and he was very charismatic and great pleasure to work with.  Jose also helped make my deal go very smooth as they were both so very patient with me.  I highly recommend working with this dealer if you're looking to buy a new car.  Thanks Audi Dallas!

Julio R. | 2014-08-11

I purchased a Certified Preowned 2013 A4 with only 5500 miles on it. I contacted my sales rep Jonathan Green 1 month after buying the car and alerted him that the 2 rear window's tint was peeling off. Jonathan stated that this might be considered a wear and tear item. I question that stated by stating "How is this a wear and tear" item after only having the car for 1 month. Jonathan said he would ask the Used car director but he was on vacation. I waited and waited 2 weeks later I called Jonathan back and he stated that he did not have an answer to this issue. I waited another 2 weeks and called back. Jonathan said that there was nothing that could be done.

I have been using Audi Dallas since 2011 and it's like Groundhog day each time.  I keep hoping the communication will change and it only seems to get worse.  First it's like bring your child to the doctor starting with the appointment, then your told they will call you that afternoon with the diagnosis and recommendations only to hear from them four days later.  It's a nightmare to attempt to reach the adviser and they make no attempt to return your calls.  Serenity now!

Gena N. | 2014-06-26

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Completely incompetent staff. Started with selling me a car with inappropriate tires on it, recommended by their tire specialist! I actually could have been killed. Seriously considering trading my Audi in for a BMW because i can not bare the thought of ever dealing with Audi Dallas again!

Reggie J. | 2014-06-09

I walked into the Audi Dallas, in the market to buy a car last Thursday morning.  Audi was my first stop and I intended to visit other dealers in the area if Audi couldn't provide what I was looking for.  I sat in three different models in their showroom, multiple sales people walked by glancing at me - but no one even said as much as hello.  Granted, I do look younger than I really am and perhaps Audi salesmen thought I was too young to buy their car, maybe I was just day dreaming.  That truly showed me what the dealership was all about.  After mulling around their showroom for good 15 minutes, everyone just looking at me from afar and no one saying hi - I walked out.  Matter of fact, I drove to Sewell Infiniti less than 2 miles down the road and gave them my $50,000+ worth of business.

I didn't believe other negative reviews about Audi Dallas on here, I wanted to see it for myself.  But all of those others aren't wrong - this dealership is awful.  With as much competition as they have around within a 5 minute drive (Acura, Infiniti, Mercedes, Lexus, Cadillac etc), you would think they would be eager to earn someone's business.  Audi makes great cars, but Audi of Dallas dealership is probably worse than an old Kia dealership.  Take your business elsewhere - that's the best way to prove to this dealership that they have to change their ways.

So the man friend takes off work early in Irving, drives to Fort Worth to get me and then we drive here to test drive a car. When we arrive for our appointment with Adam, he is helping another customer. After milling about for 10-15 minutes someone (I think it was a manager?) comes to tell us actually, they don't even have the car. It was never delivered. It would have been awesome if Adam, who knew we were coming at 6:30 pm, would have given us a courtesy call and said they didn't have the vehicle. What a huge waste of my time. HUGE WASTE. Top that off with his crap customer service. I will not come back. There's 2 other Audi dealerships in DFW. I'm sure one of them will treat us with a bit more respect.

Lisa B. | 2014-05-17

So, it happened again.  I took my car in only a month after having it fully serviced and was told that it needed all sorts of additional services-- although those had just been performed.  Thieves. I asked the service advisor how they can recommend services that had just been performed.  He seemed uncomfortable and explained that they cannot tell what services have already been performed on a car, so based upon mileage alone, they recommend additional services.  Mmmmm hmmmm.  They should be in the business of being able to tell what your car needs, don't you think?  These guys are either incompetent or dishonest.  Please take your Audi to another place for service.  I won't be doing any more business here.  Look at all the bad Yelp reviews!  My husband was on his way to buy an Audi but has been dissuaded by my experiences with this dealership.  Great service is an important component to your overall experience.  I can't wait until the warranty has run out on my Audi and I can leave the brand.

Tyler J. | 2014-05-06

Exceptional service and friendliness.  It is a pleasure to work with the folks in the service department at Audi Dallas.

Jon O. | 2014-04-12

Do not even think about leasing with them. Wanted to lease a 2014 Q7. Was given an estomate of $1,500/month for 36 months 12K miles/yr with $3000 down. That's right. Do the math. Wanted me to pay $57,000 over the course of a 36 month lease for an SUV that was worth slightly more than $60,000 retail. When I pointed it out, the saleperson tried to tell me how I didn't understand how Audi calculates the residual. I pointed out that I'm not an idiot and I can see an attempt at robbery. Whatever money factor they use to calculate the lease payment is absurd.

Lindsey N. | 2014-03-11

I have now been going to University Park Audi for 4 years and it's still great. I love my car, but my Audi experience has definitely been made better due to the service that I receive when I bring my car in. I still use Jordan Windham, he's fantastic, as my service advisor and can always rest easy that my car is in great shape and that I can fully trust the advice I am given in regards to my car. I have had nothing but great experiences here and always look forward to seeing Jordan when I drop my car off.

Audi Dallas baffles me. The first time I went in the sales guy was attentive and helpful. When I was ready to seriously start the trade in process, he was quick to follow up and what not. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst. He sent absolutely illegible emails- misspelled words, poor grammar, sentences that neither I nor my boyfriend could decipher. It was completely unprofessional and a quick turn off. At one point I emailed him to let him know I was tired of all the back and forth, was getting frustrated with him and his emails, and that I wanted to make a deal...TODAY. His response, and I quote, was "Sounds good." He didn't attempt to make things better, apologize, address the issue, or give me next steps to seal the deal.

I decided to check out another dealership and even got a better deal from them. When I emailed my guy at the Dallas location to give him a chance to counter, he sent me a rude email back saying I made a mistake and I would realize that soon, that no one does business like him, that I won't get good service from the other dealership and that was it. No counter, no thanks for your time, nada. To top it all off, it was obvious he didn't take me seriously as I'm a 20 something young woman. It was as if he didn't think I could afford a brand like Audi. It was disrespectful.

My dad also went into this dealership when deciding between a Q7 and the Mercedes equivalent. He said had the Audi sales guy been more informative or a better sales guy in general he would have hands down gone with the Audi...but he didn't.

I am so disappointed by my experience and the customer service here. I am now happily awaiting my Q5 from another dealership.

JD D. | 2014-02-28

Were great to deal with at first. I brought my newly purchased (used) Q5 in for the 25K service. I had already done my oil and filter change a few weeks before but had no way to reset the Service Due indicator without a VAGCOM. The service lady punched in her numbers, car details, etc ... and let me know know i was completely covered underneath AUDI Care. I picked up my car later that day, was told I had a ZERO balance and was sent on my way.

AUDI Dallas called three days later to tell me they had mistakenly informed me I had AUDI Care and the previous owner had cancelled it. I now had a $210 balance that they wanted paid immediately. I politely informed them I would NOT be paying that balance as they had previously told me I was covered under AUDI Care.

Fast forward to 35k miles. I call AUDI Dallas to see what the cost is on my 35K maintenance. I give the service lady my name and info and am informed that the service will be around $500. No problem... when can I get setup? She then informs me I have a previous balance and for them to work on my vehicle I will owe $800.

I attempted to work with Jeff Holt, the supervisor for the Service Department to no avail. The conversation ended with him saying "We'll have to agree to disagree". One of the most unprofessional and unproductive conversations I've ever had.

I asked for the problem to be escalated to the GM (Randy Rogers) but have not yet heard back.

Do your homework before going to this place. There are other certified shops that will perform the maintenance for half the cost, in half the time and they too, are certified by AUDI.

Sandor K. | 2014-01-11

I patiently waited and had my turn at the service desk with Jordan. My loaner was ready for me however a little scant on gas but that's ok....  I got my car back the next day and everything was as expected!!  love it when that happens!

Jacqueline C. | 2013-12-30

If you want to look at cars without someone constantly peering over your shoulder, this place is perfect. We practically had to beg for assistance. Then we took a test drive with a guy who couldn't have been more rude or less interested in selling us a car. Ten seconds into the drive, the car had sold itself, but out of principle, we're gonna buy it elsewhere and give our business to someone who deserves it.

AJ A. | 2013-12-19

Really good experience here. Michael has been really helpful with me finding a used car. Seems to be lots of inventory to choose from. The lounge there is nice with plenty of snacks, wifi, and television. And if you're in uptown the location is great!

Chip H. | 2013-11-09

Go see John Paul (JP)!  Awesome sales experience.  He gave us time to decide between the Q5 and Q7.  We test drove both.  We left and looked at other SUVs.  He followed up but was not pushy.  We went back a few weeks later and purchased from  him.  No hassle easy process took about an hour and a half from start to finish.  Thanks JP!

Daniel S. | 2013-10-18

Rude. Stuck up. Too employed to be bothered sales staff. Never have I witnessed sales, car sales, people be so completely oblivious to sales and customer interaction. Literally wanted to just show me how to use the website. I said, "So you do web sales only?" I'm serious - it's HORRID

Platinum F. | 2013-09-05

A very sleazy Sales department.  The interest rate quoted was 4x the Audi Financial Services rate and promises about inbound cars were untrue.  I am a fan of the Audi vehicles, but wouldn't buy from this dealership.  There is a valid reason this dealership is rated so poorly on Yelp!

Tim W. | 2013-08-27

We bought a used car on Friday.  On Saturday morning we didn't know if the convertible top was down all the way. We went to the service department very early.  I walked inside and Derek was working.  He came outside and looked at the car and said nothing was wrong.  He was very pleasant and helpful.  All service people should be this nice.

Diane Y. | 2013-08-22

I recently purchased an A6 from this dealership and had a great experience.  I worked with Brandon Davis and would recommend him.

MG T. | 2013-07-26

Went for the 2nd time for and I have to say, I was impressed with their work each time. Another dealer would fix something and break something else, I went back 6 times for several issues. Basically, I would leave with another issue in hand. I took it to Audi Dallas and they got it right the first. My car is hard to work on and they got it right, awesomeness!
Doug is great!
They also have a wide variety of loaners.

Matt W. | 2013-06-26

dreadful. dreadful. dreadful.  I live 1 mile away from this location and opt to drive 18+ miles to another Audi dealership to not have to deal with the poor, poor service offered here.

Bryan W. | 2013-05-19

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Don and Bruce helped us pick out the right Audi for us, and there was no negotiating. They gave us the deal that I had calculated myself prior to going to the dealership. They took the time to teach us all of the features about our new Audi A4 S-Line, and I felt we were treated like family. We live in Plano, and were not treated the same there. I will make the drive into Dallas any time to visit this dealer and service department. I am so happy I made the choice to go into Dallas.

L C. | 2013-05-16

I have gone to Jordan Windham in the service department on my pre-owned Audi for about 3 years for oil changes, breaks, maintenance, state inspections ... really anything and everything. I think I've only made an appointment one time (really need to work on getting better at that) and have literally never waited outside of maybe 5 minutes. Jordan is friendly, fast, and efficient. I highly recommend this service department.

Kathy J. | 2013-03-16

I purchased a Q5 from this dealer.  I live 360 miles from the dealer.  I was told not to worry they had exceptional service and they would come get the car if there were any issues.  After my 4th trip there and nobody willing to do what they promised we went down the street and bought a car from a reputable dealer.  The sales staff, service dept and finance were all rude and lied about almost everything they promised when they wanted to make the sale.  Never Again.

Metal G. | 2013-03-01

Brought my car in for an oil change at 8:00am and the engine light was on.  I paid an extra $140 for them to review the car and trouble shoot the light.  Yes I was given a loaner car and they had free coffee, soda and "Audi" water.  Called several times to see when my car would be done and never received a call back.  Finally got a hold of them the next day and picked my car up.  After paying over $300 , Oil change, $70, Check engine light $140 and new wipers, $85 (I was stupid) I was presented with 2 pages of items that my car needed totaling almost $12000.  This included $450 for a software upgrade - my car is a 2002, don't think I need that.  Regardless, with the oil change the car is supposed to be washed and vacuumed.  It was washed...not very well. and NOT vacuumed.

I found an independent mechanic that was recommended by another audi owner. He then went through every item on the list.  Only 3 were actually needed, vacuum hose ($400 dealer, $90 mechanic), heater repair ($2450 at this dealer, $200 at mechanic).

Anyway, don't go here if you dont have to.  Ask your friends for mechanic referrals.  The service and communication is pretty lousy and they really try to rip you off.

Actually wanted to write a nice review about the ONE capable, efficient and not schmarmy service assistant (Tristan - He came out and took care of a minor problem himself quickly and proficiently, He was personable and knowlegable and Exactly what you would want in a service front man) but I was back to Audi service recently for a recurring problem with my car - three times in one and a half years. The reception by the service assistants is routinely dismissive Like They are Doing you a Favor to help you in a timely fashion.  We have always been disappointed from the standpoint of customer service and car service at this place and will go elsewhere once they finally fix the original problem. Maybe they just like to have us around.

Okay, this place has a free fountain machine.  Free cokes!

This most recent time I came in for parts, the parts guy, I think his name was Chris, was very helpful.  He didn't have the transmission fluid I needed but he let me know that I could get them at Boardwalk Audi in Plano.  I asked him if he could call over there to confirm they had them and he said, no problem.

Even though he couldn't sell me what I needed, he was extremely helpful and polite and I have a new found new hope in the service I can get at the parts counter.

Thanks Chris!

While I have definitely experienced slimier used car salesman, the experience here as a whole was not good. I called ahead of time to see if the car I wanted to look at was still available and John, who told me to call him "Big John" said he would be ready to show it to me when I got there within the hour.

I got there, he got in the car and clearly knew nothing about it. I had to back it out of their teeny tiny lot, meaning a whole lot of reverse, drive a little, reverse, drive a little, until about the 7th time when Big John acknowledged that they probably should have pulled it out for me.... yes. Yes, Big John, that would have been good.

The car had some wear and tear and I asked if they could fix those things up. He took his manager out to look at it while I sat inside. While they were looking, I noticed a cracked light. I mentioned it when they came back in and asked if they could fix it and he told me "depends on you deep your pockets are." Oh, good. So you are going with the whole honest approach to trying to take me for as much as I'm worth.

They started doing the bullshit thing of haggling, writing down arbitrary numbers on scratch paper, and getting you to sign off on meaningless numbers before they take them to their manager.  They offered me $3k less on my trade in than another dealership. They also recommended using a credit card to put a down payment, which I'm just almost positive is illegal and most certainly isn't allowed.

I could go on, but hopefully you get the point. Aside from the slimy sales tactics, they had an hour to prepare and did absolutely nothing to learn about the car or even get it where it could be seen and test driven easily.

I've had better customer service at a 7-11 gas station.  My husband and I had already been to Sewell and Volkswagen down the street, where we were immediately greeted and even offered Pokey-Os cookies & ice cream.  On a Saturday afternoon, there were at least 7 couples waiting to look at models to test drive and purchase.  All 7, aside from us, were equally ignored while other sales staff were visibly sitting in their offices and the desk attendant was glued to her facebook screen, furiously posting away and not to be bothered.  We waited patiently for about 30 minutes, but after 30 minutes and not an offer to be helped, like the other unlucky couples, we gave up and moved on to another dealership to give them our business.  Too bad, as we were looking to make a cash deal up front.  If your time is valuable to you and you're serious about buying an Audi, don't bother setting foot in this place!!!

Worst buying experience I've ever had.  I was sold a car that I was told had features that ultimately wound up not even being available on the model I purchased- thanks Don Lambrecht!  Service department continually fails to call with status updates, forgets which car I own, etc... Not what you would expect for a luxury car dealership.  I'm now stuck with a car and a dealership (since there is only one other one in town much further away) that I wish I had never done business with.  Buyer beware.

I made an appointment with Bruce, an internet sales mgr, for 10:45 am to see an A5.  I arrived 5' early.  He was on a test drive and I was told he'd return in 10-15'.  After 40' I left and will never return.
We had talked the day before, and I expected much better service as I knew him from a previous dealership.  He never bothered to call or email an apology.  Such rudeness from a sales person is unexcusable.

I have taken my A4 to this location for 6 years and had good experiences with them-until this week.  I took the car in for a 65,000 mile check up, an inspection, and because one of the power windows had stopped working.  I was told that ALL breaks and rotors needed to be replaced and the cost would be almost $2,000.  I questioned this because I had the rear breaks changed approximately 20,000 miles before and was shocked that they needed replacing again (and the rotors?!).  The condescending assistant service manager would not consider anything short of replacing all four breaks and insisted that it needed to be done.  When asked why if there was a break light indicator that should have appeared on the dash, the manager he didn't know why it hadn't come on, but that these "high performance vehicles" needed breaks changed every 20,000-30,000 miles.  My husband and I were suspicious that we were being "upsold", and after three unreturned phone calls, we went to the location to talk to someone else there.  We spoke to the production manager, who was very nice, and he told us that he would personally investigate the breaks.  He called the following monday and told us that the front breaks were fine, they had at least another 10,000 miles on them, but that the back breaks and rotors did need replacing.  To make up for being lied to, the production manager threw in the inspection for free and discounted the labor on the breaks by $5 (seriously... $5).  You would think this would be the end of the story, but it's not.  When we picked up the car, after being told it was ready for pick up the day before, I immediately noticed that the back window was covered in grease.  Annoyed, and wanting to leave, we paid the $720 and left (the window was covered by a warranty, so this cost was mostly the breaks). However, when I got home, I noticed that the inspection sticker had not been changed!  Now, I have to go back to the location, for the fourth time in a week, and have them change it.  I will never go to this location again!  They tried to take advantage of me and now I am questioning whether they actually perform the work they charged for!   I have spent thousands of dollars at this location keeping my car maintained and I can't help but wonder how many times they have gotten away with doing unnecessary work.  Shame on them.

The last time I dropped off my car, they accused me of dropping off my car with a huge dent in the back.  After reviewing the security video, they realized it was a tow truck while on their property.  They fixed it, which took 2 weeks, in addition to the two weeks it takes them to do any repair.

The service center will always find something wrong with your car and the cost is always high.

There is a much better shop.   Not too far from here.

Awesome service and variety of loaners!

We had a truly wonderful experience! Would recommend Mike Wood and Audi Dallas again and again!!!!

In short, I negotiated a good price for an A4, I ordered the car, and when it arrived over two months later, the salesperson and the sales manager sold it to someone who walked in an agreed to pay the full retail price. Needless to say, I was very upset.

I am now the third person I know who was committed to purchasing a car from UP Audi and has been so offended by the sales department that they have gone elsewhere. Personally, I'm still debating what to do, but I'm not sure I even want another Audi at this point.

My wife and I had a terrible experience with Audi Dallas who we are deceptive and untrustworthy. Please avoid at any cost.   The full story is below.

We went into the dealership last Spring and spoke with a sales rep about ordering a car. At the time, we went over all of the features we liked and asked what the final price would be. At that time the rep told us that he didn't have an "exact" price but promise that the final price would be from 1% to 3% higher than the prior year. Of course, I immediately thought it would be 3%, but was fine with that. Also, I work for a company that serves Audi and am eligible for an official discount program offering 6% off (like an employee purcasing program) and I asked the rep at the time we placed the order about the program and he assured me that he would honor the discount. So we placed the order and paid a deposit. This was a big purchase for my wife and I and we were very excited about it. We waited 3 months for the car to come in and were excited when we called to arrange pick up. At that time--3 months later-- the sales person told me the price would be 10% higher than the narrow range he had originally quoted. Further, he said "he was sorry but the dealership could no longer honor the discount program" meaning that the price was now 16% higher than what we were told it would be, which was over $6,000 more!. That was a huge difference especially after we were already stretching what our budget. I feel like this is exactly the type of behavior that is a car buyer's worst nightmare about dealerships---that they will tell you anything to get you to buy the car and pay more money. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Wrathfully, I'm glad I discovered the terrible integrity of the dealership before purchasing the car as at least I won't be going through the pain of dealing with them for service issues etc. In the end we were able to purchase the car from another Audi dealer in DFW for a price similar to the one we first agreed on at Audi Dallas (I won't mention the dealership as I don't want this review to appears an ad for them). With plenty of places to buy Audi around DFW, I'd go somewhere else.

If you do make the dangerous choice of visiting the dealership at least don't work with the sales rep Jeff Logan who was who we were working with. He showed no integrity and was actively deceptive.

This review is solely based on the service center. (although, I will say I had a great buying experience there).

Everyone that works there is great. All of people are extremely friendly and always offer you a cold beverage. They are quick to get to your car. They also possess a large loaner fleet should you need a car. However, here is a friendly tip. Tell them you want an Audi because they have corrollas in their fleet, and I got stuck with one once.

The waiting room is comfortable, and there are video games for the kids. There is free water, sodas, coffee, and a cappacino machine. With all of friendliness and great store environment, you might ask why I didn't give them a 4 or a 5.

Everytime, I have been in for a simple procedure or been given a time that the car would be ready and without fail...it takes twice as long. I went in recently to get my oil change and was told I could wait because it wouldn't take longer than an hour. It too two hours!!!!  This has happened several times.

I don't know where the problem lies. Is it the service managers underestimating, mechanics or people who wash the cars, but I would really appreciate an accurate wait time.

If that bug could be worked out, I would give University Park Audi 4 or 5 stars.

Honk if you love Audi!!!

Jordan got me in and out in no time and even offered me a rental although I didn't need one. I did, however, see a couple who was trying to get help from another person working there and I assume because of some things being lost in translation.. the guy working there felt the need to talk very S L O W L Y and very LOUDLY. Luckily, he wasn't the one helping me because I wanted to kick him... or leave a bad review about him on Yelp. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but when you go in for service, request Jordan. Otherwise, bring a translator.

Dropped off my car for service at UP Audi and it was returned unwashed, with the hood  un-latched and with screws sitting on top of the engine.  I didn't discover that the hood was unlatched until after I got home.

On top of that, I was given an outrageous quote for service.  After rejecting all of the suggested service, my car was returned unwashed and with the problems mentioned above.

I still had to pay $149, even though not one service was performed.  Will never go to UP Audi again for service or to buy a new car.

I feel like I'm in a horror movie.  The bad guy keeps coming back no matter that I've chopped his head off.  When I last had my car in the shop at Boardwalk I told him the oil light was on and to do the 35k service.  Of course they didn't do it.  I don't know how they missed it, but somehow they did.  This time I wasn't going back to Boardwalk, so I called UP Audi.  I was able to get my car in the next day and instead of a crappy subcompact rental, they gave me another Q7.  It was a little dirty, but better than a Kia.  They fixed my car and gave me a discount for switching from Boardwalk to UP.  This changed my perception of Audi's.  I would now consider buying another Audi, as long as it wasn't from Boardwalk.
