Reviews on Addison Auto Group

My purchase with this dealership was the worse I have ever experienced.  This includes the owner on down to the receptionist. I would not recommend this company to anyone.  First of all they had my car that I was trading in for about 3 weeks before I ever signed the papers for the new one. I had to keep hounding them to get me the paper work so we could close the deal. I later find out that while my car that I was trading in should have been parked was actually being driven by someone at the dealership and was running up my toll tag. To this date I have not been reimbursed for these charges even though I sent them a copy of the charges with dates and times. About a week after I signed the papers for the new car, I decided to refinance because of the high interest rate they gave me. My credit union told me that I should cancel the extended warranty because they over charged me for it and I could get it for less than what they charged me with more coverage also cut my interest rate in half. I contacted the dealership and was told that the warranty was a condition of the loan. This was not TRUE. I contacted the bank as well as the service contract provider and was told an after market product cannot be a condition for a loan. The financial guy Mike even got mad and hung up on me when I called him to try and get this warranty cancelled. He told me "We had to hide the money somewhere". After many many phone calls and involving the service warranty company almost a whole month later they finally cancelled the warranty.  I was also threatened by the owner Steve that he may take me to small claims court.

I was asked to join this company and was going to be given my own dealership to manage all the auto loan applications. This is all true. However, due to State licensing restrictions I am not allowed to handle, process, pull credit , quote rates or flat out do my job until this approval comes through. Since we started this endeavor in October I have made $0.00 in the last 6 weeks. I have been strung along like a child chasing a toy.

Therefore I am posting this for all my fellow Yelpers to see and learn about. This is not a place to enter with any hopes of being treated well and in good faith.

I want to be very clear, the dealerships I dealt with were on the up and up for sure. It's the Addison Auto Group who has played me like a fiddle. My boss Richard Cortez was the individual telling me what kind of income I could expect. Also that the reason he was bringing me on board was that he wanted to spend more time with his family and not work so much. Either he has issues letting go of the reigns or he just wanted me in his back pocket when the licensing comes through. If ever.

I highly recommend reading the reviews that were listed as not recommended. If they treat me, a do called co-worker the way they have then buying a vehicle must be a totally horrific experience.
