If you need a cheap vehicle fast then this is the place. I give it one star for this reason. It will accomplish that purpose and that purpose only. If you want honesty and reliability this is NOT the place. Let me begin my saying that obviously any cheaper, older model vehicle is expected to carry over some repair and wear that you should be expected to take on hence the cheap price, but it is also expected that the dealer would be upfront and honest about what you are taking on. With that being said I absolutely would not recommend buying from this dealer because they are the stereotypical lying, cheating car dealers who will tell you whatever you want in order to make a sale. I bought a vehicle from them and identified a mechanical repair at the time of purchase which I was told they would repair for me if I only purchased the parts. I made sure to clarify with the owner before I went back to make sure this was the case and he told me it was and to come in on a specific day. In between that time I tried to get an oil change at a different auto shop and was told by the mechanic that he could see that they obviously made a rigged repair to my oil pan and I would need to replace it. A somewhat minor job but he was just shocked at how they rigged it and still sold it and recommended I talk to the dealer before making the repair myself. So when I went in for the first discussed repair I brought the mechanic's notes and the dealer completely played dumb about it and made it seem as if it must had been done by the person they bought the vehicle from. Then he also went back on his offer to repair the initial part we discussed saying that now he would need to charge labor. Something never mentioned before from his employee or himself when I called to verify. So........all in all....there are so many dealerships in Austin.....choose a better one and skip the grief at this "place of business".
