Recently went to this dealer and gave them a list of options i wanted in a jeep wrangler unlimted (used). Could not make a Deal at ALL....played dealer games with them for three hours and still had to walk away from a bad deal. I even went back to them with a list of options for a standard jeep wrangler. Same game. I eventually went to Truck City ford and for better terms and a new four door truck got all the things i wanted from a different dealer. Love jeeps ..not so fond of this dealer ...funny part is i had originally purcahsed the jeep from them. Guys like your product but listen to your customers you are not the only dealer in this town. The lenders you told me you got the best deal for me thru .....dropped the Interest rates for the OTHER guys maybe they asked nicer? At any rate...this was by far the worst experience NOT buying a new car i have ever had. Good thing your competion was there. They got my business and a 5 star reveiw because they listened and made the deal work for me.

I recently went to South Point because of the commercials on TV about the huge discounts on the Chrysler 200.   I had a 02 Mercedes Benz C320 wagon with issues.  I called and then went to meet them and drive the car.

The Salesman was real nice.  We drove several cars and finally what was told to me was all I could afford was a Dodge Dart.  Chrysler Capital approved me for $20,000.  So I asked if there was any way they would work with me on the 200 so it would fit in my budget.   He said there was no way I could get a 200.  Just no way.

OK so I said, Mercedes is problematic ----new car with warranty,  ok I'll take it (the Dodge Dart).

Show up two days later to sign my papers and drive away in a new car.  Well they don't have a car for me only one they could sell me is one with a manual transmission.   Um no.  The sales manager then comes to me and says, "what's the matter?  You don't know how to drive a stick shift?"

Well, needless to say I'm now pissed.  I see the finance manager walking past me back and forth never making eye contact.  Why couldn't he come say, "Hi, I'm so-n-so, I'm going to be handling your deal.  I'll be right with you" or something like that?  Even the old lady at Walmart says HELLO!!!

The finance manager isn't even 1/2 a man.  Grab your balls and look people in the eye and give them the truth.  Stop all this bull whispering behind customers backs.  Buying a car is traumatic and a big deal.  Why couldn't they make it more enjoyable or even less stressful?

Well, I said F THE and ended up going to Bluebonnet Chrysler in New Braunfels.   They gave me all the rebates and even a Dealer discount which made my 2015 Chrysler 200 Sticker $24,000 come down to a posted price of $16,000.  After 3 hours, I drove home with my beautiful new car, at the payment I wanted, warranties to the eyeballs, and under budget!   Greg was the absolute best dude I've met in and long time.

No proof of income, no tax returns, no liars.  Just nice people, great prices and super easy financing.

Look who's driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 now.  And they (South Point) said it'd never happen.

My review is only based on my personal car buying experience. I recently went into the dealership and met Eddie to look for an SUV option for myself. While I thought I would end up liking the Renegade, Eddie was patient with me as I tried out other vehicles. I never thought he was pressuring me to get a more expensive vehicle or even to get something I didn't need. He was very kind, and let me test drive anything I asked.

I also had a complicated trade in, and they made it seamless, up the point where they agreed to send the papers out of state for a signature. Another dealership had no clue on how to do this. Overall, my experience was great.. And I had several choices in the vehicle type I wanted. And I do love my jeep jeep.

Ever since I've bought my jeep here I've regretted it. The customer service is awful. As weird as it sounds, I can't wait to be done with my free oil changes because then I don't have to come back here. No one knows what's going on. It's unorganized and no one wants to help you. Don't get me wrong, I love my jeep but I would never come back to this dealership.

My brother just got a car from them gave him payments he could afford. I just bought a truck from them. Ben Curtis was real helpful with the process. Wasn't expecting to get what I wanted but he got me the perfect truck for me.

These guys kept insisting on selling me a car based on the monthly payment amount. I kept telling them the amount I wanted to spend and the lease term (60 months) I wanted on a new car. Instead they kept bringing in different people trying to tell me to stretch out the payments for longer and I could do more and how "everyone gets car loans for 6-7 years nowadays". No thank you. Sorry I don't want to be drowning in debt or pay a ridiculous APR. In total 3-4 people came in to try to push us into a new car that night. Then when I kept refusing their offers, the finance manager said I was being "fucking ridiculous" right in front of my 5 and 7 year old kids. Needless to say, I won't be coming back or recommend them to anyone.

I walked in here trying to make a deal with them to buy the new re-designed Chrysler 200 S (S for Sport trim) I-4, but they seriously over priced the Sport trim. MSRP is about 24k-25k for the S, and they were shopping it for 30k for the I-4 engine.

When I asked the salesman why it was priced so high, he couldn't give me a good explanation.

Also they were valuing my trade-in value of my old car at 1k. I know it has issues, but they didn't want to wiggle either at the trade-in value or the true value of the 200S.

This is a dealership. Work with me. Don't set high price tags and low trade-in values to milk a sale. The salesman literally told me 'If it makes it feel any better, I pay $600.00 a month for my car.' Oh, good for you! Glad you don't mind living with a high car note. I do!!! So either drop the car price or raise the trade-in value, and he said that he couldn't raise the trade-in value because they won't make a profit on it. OK, I can see that, but they rather have me walk away from a 30k car than loose out a couple of thousand to fix my trade-in car? Really? Really?

So the morale of the story, avoid this place like a plague. I went to truecar.com and found a respectable place--Covert Chrysler Jeep Dodge. They value the 200S I-4 at about MSRP and they worked with me for the trade-in. Gave me 3k for it, which I thought was a great deal.

I wanted to do business with this firm and purchase a new 2015 Jeep although..... My 2012 Dodge Charger is going to be recalled in a couple weeks due to an alternator issue. (It broke down in the middle of Rush Hour traffic because of the alternator). I had it towed to a shop in the evening. South Point wanted me to cover towing AND the cost of diagnostics! 27,000 miles on it and 2 months past warranty. I won't say I blame them, companies are in business to make money, although the ones that stand out are the firms that do what is right.
