Horrible experience!! I bought a used car that seemed to be in good condition except it needed a new battery. They included a battery in the purchase price, which I was happy with. However, the battery took 3 days to be ready for me. Meanwhile, I wasn't even driving it because I would have to jump it everywhere I went. I feel like they might have done this on purpose so that I couldn't use buyers remorse on them because after getting the battery and driving the car for a couple of days, I noticed a high pitched squealing coming from the engine, which ended up being the power steering belt needing to be changed. Furthermore, the brakes were terrible and they had to be replaced a week after I bought the car. I just think it's ridiculous to pay "good condition" price for a used car that had to have $500 worth of work for it to be drivable... I'm just glad I have mechanics in the family that helped me work on it, because it could have cost a whole lot more!!
Also, don't expect them to go out of their way/care about their customers or even have any customer service at all. After being told that I could pick up the battery around 2 and that they would install it, I showed up at 2:15 to find that their only mechanic was out for lunch. We told them we would do it ourselves, and the lady at the front desk gave us a used battery that was way too big! Needless to say, I was livid and on a time crunch to head out of town. My husband called Shane and at this point we were very annoyed so he used a couple of choice-words. When the mechanic/owner (Blake) finally got there, he started yelling at us because we cussed at Shane... I don't care how much I cuss at you, you are the customer service representative, and a good one would suck it up and do their job! Furthermore, when I went to get my plates, after originally being told that they would put them on for me, they just handed them to me. I decided it wasn't worth the wait or annoyance of having to deal with them again, so I decided to put them on myself. It shouldn't be hard to put plates on, right? I guess not because when I got home, I realized that the bolts they had on the back plate were too big so I had to buy new bolts too! UGH... I'm just glad to be done dealing with those fools... I will never buy a car from a small auto dealer again, and you shouldn't either! These guys are just in business to rip people off!

I bought a car from Mid Tex a year ago and is still running like a champ.  Blake and Shane are very professional and experienced and put you at ease with their deepened knowledge of used cars.  They can spot a lemon a mile away and will stray you away from it.  Mid Tex keeps the customer first and is not looking to make a quick sale.  They are in the business of building customers for LIFE and gaining your trust.  I will continue to be a loyal customer.  Thank you for being a trust worthy dealer.

Let me tell you...I just purchased a 2007 Honda Accord from Mid Tex . Blake Parker took the time and interest to explain to me which car would meet my needs and gave me a complete background on the car that I was interested in. My experience at Mid Tex was very comfortable , non-pressured , and anxiety free....I can't imagine a better place to buy a used vehicle !

I had a great experience here working with Shane and Blake. I was looking for a used minivan and responded to an ad. The vehicle needed a repair, and Blake agreed to fix that but also offered to try to find a different vehicle if I preferred to go that route. After looking around the whole state for inventory, he even called another dealer for me and suggested I go check it out. In the end, I took the original vehicle that had been repaired to my independent mechanic, and when it checked out, I went with that one. The whole process was great. The next time I am looking for a vehicle I will call them.
