If I could put zero stars for this dump, I absolutely would. I've had two terrible experiences with them, once myself and once from my fiancé who didn't listen to me before buying from them!

My story: I bought from long motors with the allure of dependable used cars with low down payment. I bout a '98 Camry for $7k and nearly 30% interest rate. This was my first car purchase as a young 21 year old not knowing any better. Things kept going out in the car over the next 8 months, hundreds of dollars worth of repair, and the monthly payments due date at the beginning of the month were conflicting with all the other bills I had due at that time. I called and spoke to Maggy about paying my payment late that month she was over the top nice to me and said oh we can switch your due date to the end of the month for you will that work better? Yes it did. I asked if I needed anything in writing for that she said no they were more than happy to help. Flash forward 4 months. My due date was approaching and my paycheck was short, I asked how much the late fee would be to pay the car payment 5 days late. She said since they switched my due date I was never allowed to make a late payment again for the life of the loan and if my payment wasn't in full by the end of business day my car would be repossessed. I went to the office to make my payment, forget groceries right? And cried and pleaded that I was never told this not had anything in writing. Maggy was rude and told me "look, deal with it. Your payment has to be made or you won't have the privilege of driving it". I said these were unfair business practices and the BBB needs to know about it. She snatched my money order from my hand, ripped it up in front of me, and demanded I leave since I was now "threatening their business". In tears I left with my now $280 money order ripped up on the floor that was already written out to them that I couldn't get refunded. The next day I woke up and my car was gone and had been repossessed!! I am dead serious here! I called the news, the BBB, no one was interested in helping. So there I was careless again. I ended up borrowing a car from a family friend for a few months until my fiancé(now husband) moved in and we shared his car.

Now to his experience:
His car was totaled and was also allures by the low down payment price. He bought a '99 jeep Cherokee. I told him he would regret the buy, and Lord did he. About 2 months after buying the car, we were driving on the interstate, I in my second trimester pregnant, the front right tire blew out and we landed in a ditch. We almost died. We put a donut on it and got to the nearest tire shop, the tires were completely bald. That doesn't happen in two months. Another month goes by and the breaks start squeeling. He said next week I'm taking the brakes to get looked at. A couple days later when he hit the brakes they made a horrible grinding sound so he went ahead and took the car to get looked at that day. The mechanic told us not just the brakes but the entire brake system was nearly destroyed and had to be completely replaced. He said the brakes hasn't been worked on in years and begged us to bring the car home and park it because the car was literally a death trap. Long motors didn't want anything to do with it even with the additional warranty we bought. So my husband brought it to them parked it in the lot and said YOU deal with it and I'm not paying you a penny more. A couple days later we drove by the lot and the car was right back on the lot for sale!! Do not buy from this place, it could cost you alot more than money

They were very eager to sell us a car and went out of their way to drive us to another lot of theirs to see it.

But then we took the car to a mechanic, who noticed that the tires were totally bald. It had been in an accident and not properly repaired (pulled to one side so bad that the steering wheel was at a 45 degree angle when rolling in a "straight" line).
Also, underneath the motor/transmission was coated in a gross black gunk that could have either been leaking transmission fluid or oil. Either way, there was so much of it that the mechanic said there had to have been damage to the engine or transmission. We hadn't noticed this at first because (almost) everything under the hood had been sprayed super clean.

When we returned the car to long motors and told them what we'd discovered, they acted very confused, and then told me I could buy a $2000 warranty on the car.

Right, like I'm going to pay MORE for the car because it's a piece of crap.

Long automotive is friendly and professional.  I did not buy my 2001 Ford F150 there but they re-built my transmission and did some body repair.  Given that they were friendly and professional and the work performed was top notch, if I ever have to get another car I will definitely come back.
