After being in an accident I was desperate to find a truck after going to dealer after dealer nobody could seem to help me and everybody was trying to sell me the most expensive truck on the lot .on my way home the last dealership that was on my way was LeiffJohnson on Ben White here I met Carlos who was kind enough to sit down with me and show me all the inventory around all the stores he drove with me to the buda store and at 6 o'clock he followed me to the airport location and even after a car was already almost sold he stuck around with me and we figured out that the deal fell through if it wasn't for Carlos I would of never gotten this amazing deal I would advise people to come to the Ben White location and ask for Carlos  and you can find out for yourself the great customer service that they offer at the store..

I came to look at a Mercedes with my boyfriend. We had been looking for a particular model for some time, a 2-seater to help you all out with this story. We drove 25 miles one-way to see this car and the salesperson (Jerry I think) told us that he would have to be in the car for the test drive. That leaves me out to either sit in the car or the showroom. What a bunch of s#it! How are we supposed to test a car together if one person isn't in the car?!? I guarantee I won't buy this car from Leif Johnson, nor will I ever buy a car from them.

I brought my Fusion in for an oil change last October. It took all day due to them being under staffed (that's what I was told). A couple months later I noticed my car leaking engine oil. I brought it to a different shop to have it checked out. I was informed that because of Leif Johnson Quick Service my oil filter was loose (due to it not being properly installed) and my splash guard was missing four bolts to hold it in place. When I brought it back to the Leif Johnson Quick Service, I had to wait several hours for them to replace the four bolts. When I checked out, no apologies and they told me that I my splash guard had a scratch on it. Suggesting I had bottomed out. Which I haven't. Even I had it would not explain the missing bolts and loose oil filter. I will not be going back to this location to have car worked on and thought I would warn others.

Loved working with kaprice. Really nice and honest guy. Helped me find the right car for the right deal and was willing to meet me where I'm at rather than trying to put me in something well out of my reach. Really down to earth guy and a good conversationalist. Will go back to him.

****Warrning Shady Business*****

My partner and I visited this location yesterday, December 29, and found a car we truly enjoyed. We went in with already being approved and having the paper work to prove that we were. we talked with Craig and he was ready to make the sell, however they could not get the price below 20k. He said well let me see what the finance manager can do about maybe getting you another loan. Next think you know a man named Jimmy Cruz is trying to get us to sign a loan that 4% higher then what we were already approved for and all he kept saying was you can always refinance in 6 months and can you not get 500 dollars today. We told him no thank you and we left. Then, today, December 30th, we looked online and the car was dropped over night to 17,200 and we called back in and inquired if the vehicle would be under 20k out the door with tt&l and we were told yes by some man. Not even 5 minutes later we get a call from Craig asking how the car buying was going and we told him we just got off the phone with a man and he said that the car price had been dropped and that it would fall under 20k. We told him we were looking to come back into day. He flat out asked us if we were going to use their finance and we said no we would be using our own. That Jimmy said we could use yesterday, however he could not get the car price low enough to match out financing.  Craig told us to hold and I could hear them whispering in the back ground about the car and how we saw it lower online and then next thing you know Craig is back on the line saying they will no longer accept our financing and we will have to use there's.

****This seems very slimy and shady that just yesterday they were able to accept our financing and then today they can't because it would fit with in the price. I will be contacting bbb****

I just bought a Passat S from this store. Every step of the process was very pleasant, from my initial phone call inquiry about my car, to the sales experience with Dan Lamar. He made me feel really comfortable and confident as I made a big purchase. He was very respectful and I'm so appreciative that I had such a lovely car buying experience. Thanks to a quality team at Leif Johnson!!!

There "Quick Service" center is a joke. Lady at the front desk told me 9.99 in broken English then charged me 99.99....I will never buy cars or have anything to do with Leif Johnson Ford again. Talked to the manager, lost hope.

I had a pretty good experience here, although I didn't buy a car. My old car died and I was using a rental while searching for a new car. Leif Johnson Super Store was my first stop during my search for a car. I saw a Fiat 500 Pop at Leif Johnson listed on CarGurus.com for a good price and I wanted to test drive it. Kevin was my car salesman, and seemed happy to assist me even though I didn't make an appointment. Even though the price on the car was higher than I expected, he said they would honor the price I saw online. We took it out for a test drive and he encouraged us to get on the interstate to get a feel for how it would drive, he said we could even take it on I 35 but I preferred to avoid that torture! When we got back to the dealership he offered us water and asked if we were interested in any other cars. I mentioned another car I was interested at another Leif Johnson location and he offered to transfer it over to make it easier for me to test drive it. There was no pressure and he treated me with respect, something other car dealerships failed at. Ultimately I bought a car from another dealer, but my experience at Leif Johnson was one of the most pleasant ones during my search.

First let me say, I got a great Tacoma truck at a decent price from Leif Johnson, but they are very weak on support after the sale.  My truck came with one key, Alex said he would follow-up on the other key and the key to the tool box on the back.  After a week, I called him, he was out of town, someone else said they would get the key, then didn't.  I called Alex a week later he said he would follow up - and I should call him back to check to see if he found it.  Very unprofessional for a salesman to tell me to call HIM back, he should have offered to look into it and give ME a call back.  I did call him back and he was out of the office.   Bottom line, I never got the second key if there ever was one.  On another note, when I went to test drive the truck before I bought it, Alex said he would ensure that the truck was transferred from the Koenig store.  I told him what I time I would be there, when I arrived,  had to wait 30 minutes for the truck to arrive from the other store.

I did not experience any of the negative things posted below, though maybe those employees are gone.  I worked with Kevin to test drive and buy a 2006 Mustang, and he was beyond helpful, having the car transported from another location.  We took it for a spin and I loved it.  My other obstacle was I was trying to get out from under a car with a lot of wiring issues and I still owed on it.  I explained this to them and they worked the deal so thy bought the old one, I didn't owe on my old car and the payments were in my range.  Jimmy was the manager and was nice to work with.  I was out of there in a couple of hours.

Also, I had to bring the Mustang in for a water leak issue the week after buying it - a Mustang problem in general, and Annette at the Quick Service was super helpful in taking care of it and making sure the dealership took care of the issue since I had just purchased the car.  So far so good with these folks!

Zero stars!- I didn't get the impression that they are professionals. We drove up, last night at 8:00. We got out looked around at some cars and there is NO hours listed on the door. We have no idea when they close, lights were on, employes were in there standing around, chatting, looking at their phones. We approached  the door at like 8:15 and someone scampers over and SHUTS OFF ALL THE LIGHTS, right in front of us. With out a word. We drive around for a minute, and they are just chillin in there, hiding. RUDE RUDE RUDE! How about letting us know you are closed and welcome us to come back in the morning, maybe hand us a business card or something? Hey dudes, you are not getting any commission off me. And you have no people skills, get a new job.

The quick service is the slowest service I've ever received for an oil change.  2 hours with only 2 people in front of me is ridiculous.   The staff is disgruntl and it's clear there are management problems.  It takes a lot for me to give a negative review but this place deserves it.  Wow.

Mark J. | 2013-07-31

I recently purchased a Smart ForTwo at this location. Let me begin by saying that my saleswoman, Ashlee, was GREAT! She was kind, honest, and beneficial. It was the management that I had an appalling experience with. Mark, the sales manager, was the most unpleasant salesman EVER! DO NOT GO HERE! The cruel man could not control his anger in front of customers and his attitude ruined potential deals with me. I honestly knew more than most of the managers and I am 21, also never dealt with cars! Yes, I am going out of my way to express my anger upon this place because I was treated with such disrespect and I hope they eliminate their mainframe. I found it comical that I kept hearing different information from different people; Completely unorganized! No one knew answers! Not only was I disrespected, my mother was as well! She resides in Ohio and Mark's temper was dreadful upon her. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. I will voice my opinion to everyone around me to NEVER buy from this dealership.

RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My recent car buying experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. Slimey salesman, extremely unprofessional, terrible customer service are just a few ways to describe my experience here. I have had nothing but issues with my car since I drove it off the lot. I should have went with my gut feeling and stayed away from this place... huge regret!

DAN, DAN, HE'S THE MAN..HE CAN'T FIND YOUR NEW CAR NO ONE CAN!!

had a great experience with Dan Lamar from Leif Johnson Ford. I test drove a car with him the other day and I ran over a metal shard and flattened the tire. This might freak some folks out but I have him hot on the trail trying to find me the perfect car in my price range. I haven't bought from him YET but I will. He is great and will do everything he can for you to find a car even if it's not on his lot!

Had a good experience this past weekend when buying a vehicle for my sister.

The salesman "Foster" was very friendly and experienced.   The dealership had a very good price on the vehicle we wanted and took care of us when it was time to make the deal.

Umeko V. | 2013-03-05

If you are looking to buy a used car, the only name you need to know if "Dan Lamar".  I had such a great experience with him, I can honestly say this is the first car that I feel good about purchasing (and I have owned 6 cars in my life - so far).  :)

Dan was eager to help, but I felt that he listened to what I was looking for, and gave me top rate service.  He loves what he does and he's good at it.  He said "I would rather have someone have a good experience with me and not buy a car, then to have them have a bad experience buying a car from me".

If you are looking to buy a vehicle, take the time to talk to Dan Lamar.   I'm glad I did, and I will again when the time comes.

I normally do not take the time to write a review but this location has the worst customer service ever. I was interested in a 2012 Hyundai Accent which was their super saver special sort of speak. Vin KMHCT4AEXCU078400. We went by on a Sunday The vehicle seemed to be a great deal so we decided to take it for a test drive, the salesman handed me the keys and it wouldn't start. hm. its a 2012 with about 6k miles. hmm. So he jumped it and we went. The car drove fine but the radio wouldn't work, the AC did but the rotation of air through the vehicle wouldn't turn off. The backseat was covered in small white dog hair, COVERED. We have two dogs so that wasn't a BIG deal, and he said the car would be detailed. After the test drive we (husband & I) decided we would wait till they got the car all fixed up and cleaned. Left my contact info and asked them to call me when done. - on the way out the manager stopped us, and was just "checking in" and mentioned the alternator had been replaced and it was just a battery issue. i told him that it seemed more like an electrical issue. ITS A FREAKIN 2012! Geezzz, what could possibly be wrong with it. Whatever. We left. I was called by the sales guy on Tuesday and he said "...I am on the way to Hyundai right now to have the radio fixed. Basically when the battery dies or is replaced the radio security system locks as a safety feature. When do you want to come by and sign the paperwork?" I laughed and said get it all fixed up and clean and let me know, then I will swing by and take another look. I received a call and the car was ready - I went by on Thursday and the car was still dirty! I mentioned this to the salesman and he apologized, said that he was told it was detailed but clearly it wasn't. Everything turned on and worked. He tells me that it ended up being a fuse this whole time, he didn't even have to take it to Hyundai. (???) Here i am with a confused looked- what did you pull over and try a fuse when you had been driving to the dealership when you called??? ugh. We go in to negotiate the price, how way are we going to spend 15k on a car that has had all of these issues!! No way. I don't want to be in the dealership every month to fix something- i cant even trust what these guys say. HOWEVER if i could get them down to 13.2k I would sacrifice, after all it does have full warranty through Hyundai. WELL, to our surprise this price is not negotiable. The manager stepped in and said that he had already marked it down - and he couldn't be flexible on the price. Wow. We left, next day - Friday - i get a text from Austen the salesman and he said $13,5. out the door. I didn't even respond.... today i look on-line at Ford's website and see the Hyundai for $13,2. WOW GUYS!

i cant even blame this horrible experience on Austen, its your horrible manager. *While i was waiting on Thursday for Austen to grab the keys I looked at a Nissan- opened it up and FILTHY! Inside and out. Do you even do an inspection of the vehicles before you put then on your floor? How you even look under the hoods? Manager- I noticed you shooting the shit with one of your guys outside while Austen helped us on Thursday. Why don't you grab some detail items and clean the cars, at least...

As much as I liked this Hyundai I am afraid to purchase it, even at this price.

I had a really bad experience and problems with Leif Johnson Ford and one of their internet (Craigslist) used cars they were selling.

I called them and setup a time to test-drive the car.  I drove the car, loved it, talked to the salesman (again) an hour later and he sent over a final deal, I accepted to told him I've have the bank loan the next day.

I come back the next day with a Cashier's Check from the bank... and the salesman already sold the car.  After we made a deal and I got the bank loan, after we agreed it was a done deal.  The salesman told me that he had actually made another deal on the car with another guy - before I even came in to do the test drive.  What a slimy move.

I realize that this is an industry with questionable sales tactics, but come on... it's 2012 - can't we improve just a little?

Bad experience and lesson learned, I won't ever consider buying a car from Lief Johnson Ford.

I sold my Nissan 350z to Leif Johnson through Tiana, and it was the easiest thing I've ever done! Tiana gave me a great quote, I accepted, and then she handled all the paperwork. She was quick to communicate and the whole process was a breeze. I will continue to refer people to Tiana at Leif Johnson! Thanks!

These guys were awesome in helping me find a car in a short amount of time after my car accident.  I found this beautiful blue mustang that just needed a wiring issue fixed and they went above and beyond to make sure that my car was taken car of for me to purchase.  Even to the point that when I needed service done at the Ford dealership in College Station and they were giving me hell and trying to rip me off,  my sales person Trent and his manager got on the phone with them and made sure that I wouldn't be paying anything.  They were awesome and really went out of their way to help me and make sure I left happy and that they were doing right by me.  It was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership by far.

Regina S. | 2012-05-03

First off, I want to say how friendly and awesome Randy and his crew are at the service department here. The oil changes are only 15 dollars here for me which is OUTSTANDING and since I drive a ford they always check everything out while its up in the air for me. They have never price jabbed me. Im having my radiator flushed here in a few days and Randy was so nice as to explain the entire process and give me a great price that i am comfortable with. Not so much can be said about the first place I called (I wont point fingers) who wanted DOUBLE!!!! I trust these guys with our households only car and will continue doing so for many years to come.

Sarah A. | 2012-01-17

Not too long after I wrote my first review, Tiana L., an internet sales consultant for Leif Johnson, contacted me. She told me even the other employees didn't like the salesman I dealt with and that he was now "back in Dallas." At that point I'd already bought a car, but I wanted to give them another chance, so......

I've noticed the $8.99 oil change sign on their service department building. That is CHEAP and Tiana said it's true. No appointments, just walk-ins, so I called ahead to check if they were busy (her advice). I thought maybe you'd have to bring your own oil or something (you don't).

When I got there they said I could do synthetic oil for around $36 or regular oil for $16. I got the regular one since it was a lot closer to the advertised price.

Maybe you have to buy your car there to get the oil changed for under $10? Or request that they don't change the filter??

For $16 the service guys will change out the oil and put the reminder sticker on your car. They don't do anything else (because I had a tire pressure light on that they didn't mention, even when I said I was about to drive to New Orleans that weekend) and for that price and I wouldn't really expect it.

I'm updating to 3 stars because it was nice of Tiana to reach out to me, the guy I had the terrible experience with doesn't work there anymore, and it was an okay price on the oil change.

The door that connects the garage to the waiting area of the service center is loud when it slams, and people were constantly coming in and out... not so pleasant. Everyone was nice but I might try going to a Jiffy Lube or something with a coupon to get a more full-service experience for a few more dollars.

Let's just say I created a yelp account because of Ben Azlan. Highly recommend this dealer! I inquired about a car and a week later I'm a happy Leif Johnson customer. Great service and short wait to finalize paperwork. In and out in about 90 mins, including a test drive. Ben was honest and when he didn't know something, he found the answer. Great place, great people and I shall return.

There is a fantastic group of people at Leif Johnson Super Store South.

Tiana was professional, fun, and extremely helpful.   She made our experience car shopping the best ever!

I highly recommend this guys!!
