My boyfriend is looking for another Toyota SUV and he found one he was interested in online at Autonation. Before heading down to take a look, we scanned Yelp reviews to find the right sales person for us. Laura Deen's name came up a couple times and we were struck by what reviewers said about her, specifically mentioning her authenticity and desire to the put the interest of the buyer first which is not the first thing I associate with car sales.

Upon meeting her, she immediately she put us at ease with her friendly and easy going personality. After looking at the vehicle we initially came to see, we decided to look for something else. And Laura painstakingly took us through the expanded online inventory she has access to search for another vehicle meeting our criteria.

Laura patiently accommodated us as we spent the afternoon thoroughly inspecting another SUV and never made us feel rushed. Nor did she try to push us in a particular direction, allowing us to really lead the process. She even volunteered to let us speak with the service manager since that particular vehicle's entire service history was completed there. That speaks volumes of her transparency and integrity.

Laura certainly lived up to and exceeded our expectations and we are grateful to her. Though we are still searching for the right vehicle for us we were compelled to let the Yelp world know about Laura. We will continue to work with her as she is an honest and trustworthy person and that makes car buying a much easier process.

I have 30 years of experience buying cars.  AJ Mizer at AutoNation was "unfortunately" my 4th stop.  I WISH IT WAS MY FIRST!  AJ provided no hassle, transparent and honest service, with my best interest a top priority.  All the other used dealerships were a battle and never felt like they were there to serve me and my interest.  AJ at AutoNation showed me great choice of vehicles and laid everything out on paper for me to make an informed decision.  NO PRESSURE!  Just quality service in helping me make a considerable financial decision.  *I have not even bought a car yet and still in process but was so revealed by his service, I couldn't wait...Stay tuned!

This review is two fold. First one is for sales and the other for service.

For sales make sure you deal with Darren McKay, he's the senior sales manager. He'll shoot with ya straight and really give you exceptional care and service. All the rest of the managers are actually top notch guys, Cliff, Kevin Dan, Craig and David Valdez in finance.

Jared Jones at the service bay is really the only guy who you have to talk to if you want to get taken care of. All the rest of the guys are great too, but JJ goes the extra mile. Ask for him on your next visit! :)

I stopped in a couple of days ago to look at a Camry. My first impression Was terrible, no one would come out to talk to me while I was peeking through the windows. I then walked inside the store to look for a salesman and they were all grouped in one spot talking. I felt a bit intimidated and left. I feel like a lot of toyota dealerships are like this.

We just purchased a new 2014 Toyota RAV4 from AutoNation Toyota South.
Our salesperson, Rafael Martinez, was very patient and answered all of
our questions and was outstanding in working with us to close the deal.

Mr. Martinez has also contacted us several times since our purchase to follow up
and make sure we were happy.  We are.

Overall, the experience at AutoNation Toyota South was positive and I do not

We went to Autonation to pick my first car. We bought a Toyota Corolla LE. Aron who was our sales person was great. He was very patient and answered all our questions. Unlike a typical sales person, he was not pushy at all. It was a pleasure to work with his to get our car.
The financing process was also handled professionally. Katy was the finance manager who helped us. She was wonder and very pleasant to work with.

As part of a recent downsizing frenzy, it occurred to me that a Scion IQ might be just the ticket to replace my 12-year-old Pt Cruiser--an already non-huge car, but still 5 FEET longer than the IQ. I stopped by Auto Nation Toyota/Scion and told salesman Ray Barlowe I'd like to take a test drive. He asked for my driver's license, had me sign something, gave me the key and sent me on my way for however long a test drive I wanted to take. I loved the car. When I returned, he presented me with the no-haggle, Scion Pure Price amount I would pay, but with no high pressure to close the deal right then and there--not even a "pretty please?" I thought about it overnight, went back the next day with my Cruiser trade-in, and signed the deal. Ray made the process about as easy as I can imagine. The next day he even retrieved a magnetic change holder I had inadvertently left under the driver's seat in my Cruiser and held onto it until I could pick it up. I highly recommend Auto Nation Toyota/Scion. And I highly recommend Ray.

This is the second time I bought a vehicle from AutoNation Scion South Austin. When I bought my first car, I don't think yelp existed. The only thing that kept me enjoying that car for longer was its untimely demise. I searched around for a replacement at other car dealers in the area, but soon found my way back to the comfortable confines of said car dealer in South Austin. Nassir Ahmed looked all over the tri-state area for the vehicle I wanted, a manual Toyota Tacoma (a rarity in these parts) and delivered it to me at a price that was well within my budget. I don't think you'll get a better buying experience in Central Texas. Do yourself a favor and go, you won't be disappointed.

Recently purchased a 4Runner from South Austin Toyota (not their real name, but it will probably change again by the time I'm done writing this; you know the one--on I35 south, close to Stassney). Anyway, sales agent was Jesse Jiminez and he was AWESOME.  Had exactly the vehicle we were looking for and at a discount b/c it was last year's model.  Enjoyed working with both he and Mike (mr Finance).  Definitely recommend this dealership!

I recently purchased a 2014 Camry fully loaded at AutoNation.  My sales agent Jesse Jiminez had sold me a corolla 2 1/2 year's ago.  I called him and let him know that I was interested in a Camry.  Jesse quickly called me to let me know of the $5,000.00 savings when purchasing a new Camry.  I was very happy to find a beautiful grey Camry.  Jesse is a extremely capable agent in which he gets to know your preferences and wants and needs.  I found it very easy to communicate with him maximizing my purchase.  He was extremely patient with me as I discussed the options with my husband and he listened carefully to select my car.  I trusted him  to actually make my car selection to again maximize the purchase.

My wife & I just purchased a new 2014 Toyota Highlander from AutoNation South.
Our salesperson was Roger Salmeron who did a fantastic job answering all of our questions/emails while we were waiting for the new model to be released to the Dealers. When the Highlander arrived everything went very smooth for financing & instructions on how to use the various features. I would highly recommend Roger Salmeron as your salesperson @ AutoNation South. Roger is experienced & very knowledgeable & a really pleasant and personable guy to work with.
