WORST car buying experience EVER!!  John, the sales manager is annoyingly pushy and rude.  He didn't care that our kids were tired and hungry at 8:45 pm on a school night.  He just wanted the sale RIGHT THEN and refused to let us return in the morning.  
I tried to tell him that I was so happy with our salesman, Brayan Mendoza , that we planned to purchased our new car from them the next day.  John was so adamant that the sale had to happen at that moment, that they have lost us as customers forever!

Honestly from start to finish my entire experience at this dealership was awful. I was in the market to buy a new Mustang and found out that the one I wanted was there from a source online. When I arrived I wouldn't say I was "greeted" at the door by a sales associate because the only words out of his mouth were "Can I help you with something?" I let the kid know what I was looking for and he replied with "Ummm ya I think we have a few of those out here somewhere...?" As we made our way to the vehicles he was unable to answer any of my questions that were not clearly printed on the vehicles window sticker. Once I had decided on a vehicle with no help from him we played the game of wellll the list price is X buuuut let me go ask my manager...this went on for an hour.
Finally I asked to speak with the sales manager because apparently he was the only one in the building who knew how to work numbers. The manager then informed my how low their offer for a trade in would be, they couldnt budge at all on sticker price and that even though I said a lease is not an option proceeded to go through their lease terms. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. Went down the street to Auto Nation off of 20 and bought the car I wanted. Oh and during the whole experience not one person introduced themselves, welcomed me to Don Davis Ford or even shook my hand. Piss poor customer experience.

Worst service experience ever! Service advisor never called always had to call him, didn't even touch my car till 4pm when my appointment was at 7:30! Never going back to them. Service manager Jim doesn't even care either waste of time don't go here! Didn't even offer me a courtesy ride when they had my car..had to take a taxi there.

Great customer service!  Courteous friendly, knowledgeable staff!

They honor their promise very well - I had a nail in the tire and called the dealership - it was almost 2 years after the purchase of the vehicle. They reminded me that i had the coverage (they offered it without extra charge) that would give me a replacement tire for free!  And they have been in touch to check how my experience with the vehicle has been and if their service has been outstanding - and the answer is YES!

Purchased a new (used) car a month ago. The customer service was great until we went to finalize the loan. I was preapproved for a loan, but the associate said he can definitely get a lower rate (gimmick). I caved and as we waited, he made the typical fake small talk (save my time and yours, I don't care to know what your favorite restaurant is, etc). He printed paperwork and asked me to sign. When I looked at the rate, I was approved for a 9.46% interest rate HOWEVER, I was already approved by my bank for a 5.42 rate. He didn't even tell me the rate was nearly double and acted like it wasn't a big deal. If I were stupid, I would've been locked with a loan at a higher rate because he wanted some sort of bonus from it. I was shocked and I was preparing to leave. His fake apology was unnecessary. My need for a car was great so I stayed and double-triple checked the paperwork before signing. He wasted 2.5 hours of my time getting me a "lower" rate and now I'm receiving all sorts of loan decline letters in the mail. 6 so far. The price of the car was also off by $700 and I had to wait for him to correct that as well.

Typical manipulative, only in it for themselves personality. Won't be buying another car from this place.

I had called this place to see what time they closed to receive an oil change on my vehicle. They said they closed at 7pm, I arrived at 6pm on the dot. And they turned me away stating that it was to late to get one. When I had received oil changes from them before around 6:20pm. I had to drive back home 30min all the way through traffic. Thanks Don Davis for wasting my gas and time!!!

This review is totally directed at he heavy duty truck shop where my truck has been serviced since 2006. I've never had a bad experience and they've always taken excellent care of me and my 2006 F250 Super Duty. Sara, the service advisor in the truck shop takes wonderful care of all the customers. Thank you Don Davis for a superior facility that provides great customer service. Don Davis has me for a customer for life.

Got an oil change for a very reasonable price. Travis assisted me, and he was such a sweetheart, I wish I could put him in my pocket! Everyone was great and the service was very quick and efficient. The way I like it!

This is a different kind of car shopping experience.  You won't believe it until you try it.  We have gotten two vehicles from this dealership in a year.  Ask for Irvin Bunton.  I think he has been there for years and will probably be there for a while more.  Great gentleman and very attentive.  
Unfortunately, I had issues with my car, but they bent over backwards from a customer service stand point. Lori in service didnt stop trying to find solutions and was so accommodating.
Thanks DDF for making your dealership the exception to the usually crappy rule,

A year ago my car decided to die unexpectedly, I needed a car ASAP but buying a car when you weren't planning on it, it's complicated.
After a few days searching, I felt like I went to every car dealer in DFW and started to get frustrated because every time I step in a dealer I felt they just wanted my money, regardless of the situation. Actually, in Vandergriff one of the salespersons lied to me about one of the cars I was interested (Gave me a higher price than the posted online, and told me it belong to one owner when it wasn't like that).  I felt despair; it was tough!
All changed when I find Don Davis. I got my brand new car for an awesome price, they helped me with the trade in of my dead car that was in a different Texas city, it was really fast. I particularly recommend Michael Budhag as your sales person.
I found this car dealer to be incredibly honest, and super diligent. I will go back again when I need to buy a new car in the future. Two thumbs up!
Oh, and I forgot... Now I do all the car services there even when I do not live in Arlington. Their service is top notch, I really like how this dealer take care of its business. 100% Recommended
