I would have rated this dealership with five stars if I wasn't still so livid with the finance department staff I dealt with. I entered the dealership with a pre-approved loan, and should have taken advantage of this to avoid dealing with the finance department. I entertained allowing the finance department to find a lender to offer me a lower interest rate; this is where my pleasant experience went horribly wrong.

The finance department staff member took my credit application and returned in record time, stating due to the weather she did not want to take a lot of time, so she called her friend at a local bank to MATCH my interest rate, not BEAT it. She then proceeded to give me several reasons why I shouldn't secure my pre-approved loan with the highly rated lender I planned to use. Her "best" reason was it would be so much easier for her to process my paperwork if I chose to use the local bank. I hesitantly agreed, only because the lender was my local bank (I regret this now).

Not only was her suggestion misleading, but because I changed lenders, this decision caused me to pay more for GAP insurance. The finance staff member then offered me so much inaccurate information regarding the advantages of purchasing an additional maintenance plan, I am now awaiting a refund from Toyota as the plan I was offered served me no benefit whatsoever.

I cannot stand being lied to and I can't stand being treated like I am uneducated and do not know how to read a contract or a brochure. The solution to avoiding such an incident is to arrive at the dealership with a pre-approved loan and stick with utilizing this lender till the end.

My experience with the Salesperson - 5 stars.
My experience with the Sales Manager - 5 stars.
My experience with the Service Manager - 5 stars.
My experience with the Finance staff - 1 star.

I had an excellent experience here recently on a used 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4X4. The employees were friendly, not too pushy, and informative. The salesman, Danny Good, provided ample info on the general car features, the TRD package it was equipped with, and the many options available from the AutoNation dealer for buying the car. The car was in excellent shape, and there was free access to CARFAX and the services done to the car as a part of the dealer's certified pre-owned program. I have no complaints, problems, or concerns.

having been given the runaround by this group for 2 days on 3 diff cars, we finally gave up and went to another dealership that was upfront & helpful.  if you don't want to take an offer on a car, then just say so.  if we tell you we only have 5000.00 to give for a used car, STOP SHOWING CARS FOR 8 - 9 THOUSAND.... & let us move on.  thankfully, customer service isn't dead, we found EXACTLY what we wanted & exactly what we could afford with .16 to spare.  this purchase was one that had to be done due to insurance timelines & they THOUGHT we'd be pressured into buying from them.  They wanted to take our misfortune of a car wreck & turn it into a upsale.  If our needs were taken for what they were (NEEDS), they would have kept a family of customers for when our 'wants' come around.

I recently purchased a 2010 Subaru Forester from this location and I love it!!! This was my very first used car off the lot with payments. I was referred by a friend and I received excellent service and a pretty low price from Albert Mcgill.

In addition, I did not feel like I was rushed into buying this car. He allowed me to take my time and even picked up the car from the Dallas Autonation and brought it to the Arlington location before our appointment. How is that for Customer Service.

Overall, I really enjoyed every aspect of my experience and would refer others to this location.

I wanted to take a moment to write a review...when I first bought my car about a year ago I wrote a bad review on the service department...I would like to say that today the service department has gone above and beyond for me!!!!  I had a flat tire this morning and called them and was sent roadside assistance ( I have the coverage)...but whoever I talked to helped me out!!!  This afternoon I talked to Michael and he helped me with replacing my tire...I live in Dallas and  told him what an inconvenience driving to Arlington would be and I had a "doughnut" on my car...he suggested I take it to a closer dealership!!!  He even helped me out when the dealership I went to didn't seem to know what to do with my car (coverage issues)...he also suggested that I could bring it to him in the morning and he would shuttle me to and from work...GREAT CUSTOMER service today from the service department!!!!

I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Accord from this location. I was very pleased with my experience here as a first-time buyer. I would like to express my thanks to the entire AutoNation Toyota Scion North Arlington team, and especially, to commend those listed below:

Charles O'Gorman, Salesman
Katie Ritchie, Customer Financial Services Manager
Joe, E/COM Sales Manager

I drove away highly satisfied with all the information they have provided me with, their assistance, and their thorough investigation with the companies they work closely with. I appreciate all their hard work they have done for me, and I would definitely recommend friends and family to purchase a car from here.

The service department can be hit or miss.  I've taken my car here several times for various things.  First visit for an oil change was completed quickly with no problems.  Second visit for an oil change and tire replacement was not quite as easy.  They didn't have the tires in stock that I wanted for my Yaris and I felt that the service advisor was a little pushy in trying to upsell me on the more expensive tires that they did have in stock.  I realize that it takes an employee time to go pick up tires from another location, but they shouldn't have been offered to me in the first place if it was going to be an issue.  I'm driving a Yaris, I don't need expensive high performance tires that have a shorter on-road life just to make it more convenient for the dealership.  My last visit for a state inspection was handled quickly and efficiently, and my advisor Ada made sure I knew there was a fuel line flush recommended for my next visit.  Overall, I'm satisfied with the service department here, and I will return, but I will probably start making appointments with specific service advisors.

I had a good experience purchasing my 2014 4Runner.  It is loaded with new technology.  The dealer searched for a 4 wheel drive in a color I wanted with some other features.  They have a lot of inventory given the number of stores.  They found it right away in the Austin store.  It was brought to the Arlington Dealer and I picked it up, very good service in the sale.  My only complaint is the interest rate advertised was not the same as the one I received.  To be fair it was close but they should remove the 1.9% signs if its really a higher interest rate.  Danny my Salesman was great.  No nonsense.  The closer was a little slower than I would have liked.  I don't enjoy buying cars so can be a little impatient.  I would recommend this Dealer, so if your looking for something special in the Toyota brand you can find it with Auto Nation Toyota.  No they did not pay me to say this.  Best to all of you fellow buyers out there.

I apologize in advance for this lengthy review but since this is my first one-star rating (congrats?), I want to make my reasoning abundantly clear. This is for the service industry and I should say that I've actually worked in the service industry so I'm a fairly patient and understanding person. A Saturday (before Thanksgiving) is bound to be busy but not to the extent of my experience..

I took my family's Prius in to get the key battery changed and two lights (a brake and a fog) fixed. I got there around 10 am, checked in with a guy who was friendly enough, told him I'd be waiting, and sat down in the waiting room. Two and a half hours passed and no one had talked to me. So I approached one of the workers (since the guy who checked me was no where to be found) and asked about the status of my car. He called service who told him that they were working on my car so I just sat back down. Luckily I had a book (which I read cover to cover during this visit) and my phone to pass the time because I was there for another two hours and AGAIN, no one came to talk to me.

At this point, I'm pretty frustrated. I approach the cashier to ask on the status of my car and she says she has to get the manager. Ten minutes pass before the manager (Ada) approaches me. Ada tells me that she didn't have either of my lights (or the parts to fix my lights) in stock but they changed the battery in my key. I nearly black out from the moment of rage I have. I tell her that I have been there since 10 am (it is almost 3 pm at this point) and she immediately starts to apologize profusely, telling me that no one told her what car I was waiting for and all that. Like I said, I am a rather understanding person when it comes to the service industry so I keep my temper mostly under wraps and tell her it's fine. She comps my key battery change (which is the least she could've done) and tells me to come back in a couple days. I will note that ADA was very nice and apologetic and was trying to think of options for me since my work hours are not friendly for me to come during the week.

Unfortunately with Thanksgiving and then a very odd and random snow/ice weekend, I was unable to take the car in again. So three weekends after that experience, my mother returns from out of the country and takes the car in herself. When I got home from work Wednesday, my mother told me that they had ordered the wrong part... It was a good thing I did not take the car in myself because it probably would not have ended well.

We finally took it in for a third time and they did change my brake light. However it appears that they did not have my fog light in.. But forget it. I am going to another place to get my fog light fixed. Ridiculous.

SO to summarize...
FIRST VISIT: 4.5 (almost 5) hours of waiting for two lights to be fixed with no one checking in with me, only to have them tell me they have to order my parts
SECOND VISIT: they ordered the wrong part.
THIRD VISIT: one out of two lights FINALLY fixed.
FOURTH VISIT: YEAH RIGHT. I am never coming back here again.

All they've done is WASTE MY TIME. It's unlikely that your experience will be as bad as mine but I needed to share it. Props to you if you read this whole thing but maybe this will get them to change the way they run things in there!

Outstanding service! Purchased a BMW 550i from the used lot. Paper was processed quickly and without any issues!
Service worked hard to ensure that I was happy with my car and that I didn't have any mechanical or electrical issue that derived even a week after I purchased the car!!! No-one EVER  does that like they should. I'll definitely be back!

I am amazed by the service we received at this dealership! They treated us like we were regular customers and made sure all of our questions were answered. They showed us the vehicles we were interested in and didn't try to upsell us or show us anything outside of our price range or interest level. We told them what budget we were working with and they pulled all the stops to make sure that's what we ended up paying. They were courteous and polite, and very accommodating. This is what the car buying experience should be like all the time. No hassle or hustle to worry about. They have continued to follow up with us to make sure we are satisfied with the vehicle we chose and that we don't have any questions, and also to make sure we don't miss our service appointment. I would recommend that anyone go here and that they get a Toyota over any other car on the road! They deserve an A+ for the all around greatest car buying experience ever!

Lance and the team were awesome. They helped us get into the vehicle we wanted and worked really hard to get pricing into our range for it. The management is also amazing. they do not shun you away like other dealerships. they have no problems coming right up to you and just talking. They want you to know they are real people too and really do have your interests not just their own. This is a very important step for a car buyer since most dealers want to ensure their bottom line exceeds anything you get. This dealer while yes they do need to make money do understand what a  good deal is and also do understand what customer service is. No games, no gimmicks just straight shooting.
