Excellent car buying experience! Bought a new Mustang from Clarence who was very knowledgeable and helpful. They offered me a fair price for my trade in, had the vehicle I wanted for a great price and even beat the financing APR that I had already had lined up with my bank.
Even after the purchase I noticed that one of the windows leaked due to a factory production fault. The service department was helpful and even set me up with a loaner at no cost to me while they fixed the leak, tinted the windows and finished it all off with a wash. I would highly suggest buying a new Ford from them to anyone looking to buy.

Just bought a 2015 Mustang and could not be happier with the service I recurved from José at Autonation Ford. Very helpful and knowledgeable with every question I had... Plus had no long waiting times trying to talk price... Everything was straight forward and professional... Thanks again

We bought a used car on 10-30-14. We bought the extended warranty and were told that EVERYTHING was covered for 60 days. 11 days later the car shut down and wouldn't start and every light on the dash was flashing. We read about it while we were stranded and called auto nation. It was 15 minutes before they closed and they didn't call us back. We thought that it might be the anti-theft system shutting it down. They had put a Sobe alert thing under the dash and when I pulled it out the car started. We took it in to check on the problem and they said we needed a new battery. $156. I asked about the 60 day deal and they said, "not covered".  I'm not sure that it was even the battery.

An appointment with Dean in the used car team was made mid-day on Friday through the ANF Customer Relations team.  Time was set to be between 9 and 9:30 Saturday morning (the next day).  I had seen a new on-line posting that day for a high end used car they had taken in trade and I was very interested in it.  The trip to ANF from my home is about 85 miles so it's a good drive.  We arrived about 9:05 and after waiting a few minutes for the Sales Team to complete their team meeting, I met Dean and inquired about the car.  He stated  that he wasn't sure where the car was and went into another office to discuss it with the sales manager.  After about 15 minutes he returned and told me the car was moved on Friday to another AN dealer and was sold.

I didn't receive a phone call, nor an email that the car had been sold.  A general attitude we received from Sales team was not really being surprised that the car was moved and they didn't know about it.  Moving $70K in inventory would seem to make someone's radar in that team.  It sure seem that the classic left and right hands at AN have no clue on what was going on here.

My family and I own six automobiles and I've bought and sold a dozen or so cars here in Texas.  Needless to say, this was a very disappointing first impression and the worst experience I've had with a Used Car team!

Buyers beware ;)

My salesman was Michael M. He was nice and tried his best to solve situation. I bought an 2012 Ford Fusion SE and I'm happy so far with my purchase. Once I entered the Finance Dept with Chad, I felt I was taken fast. It was obvious commission was the only thing that mattered.  While I'm signing papers my salesman Michael M. was removing all of my personal items from my 2006 Dodge Durango that I traded in. At the time I was so ready to leave I was a little relieved he did it but still skeptical. 5 days later I noticed I didn't have my GPS out of my truck. I called him because I knew EXACTLY where it was in the compartment. I drove up there, the truck was still there cleaned out but NO GPS. I was furious. Michael then bought 2 Managers, I assume out there and they basically said suck it up we don't have it and that they would check  with clean up people and let me know on Monday. Seriously, they couldn't take care of now while I'm there.  I was in tears. I just bought a car, gave you commission and they could careless that they have a thief working for them. For this experience, I cannot will not recommend their dealership again. I'm still researching legal steps.

Okay went by on a hope that I could get a new key made for a car that I bought from another dealer.
Tim, Service Manager, told me he wasn't sure if any if the keys they had in stock would work, but he was willing to see if they would program. I told him I had to be out and on the road in about 1 hour. He said no problem.
Not only was I back on the road in an hour, but I had a new programmed key and my car was clean and vacuumed.
Great dealer, great service, great all around.

AutoNation Ford - Arlington
I've purchased 3 cars from AutoNation and this last experience was the worst experience I've ever had when purchasing a car.  Salesperson Angel G. has no knowledge of cars or customer service skills.    So disappointed in AutoNation.  (wasn't going to post but Angel G send me an email so I figured I should warn others)

I recently purchased a used Ford Edge from AutoNation. After a horrible experience at another dealership in the area earlier that day, my husband and I really appreciated the low pressure/high customer support from our salesman, Mike Glass. He even drove with us to the Burleson location to find the vehicle I ultimately purchased. Great financing through Ford Motor Company, fair trade in offer and helpful financing guy. The only thing that was a slight downside was there was a long wait to sign paperwork as there were a lot of people who had purchased a car that day.

Overall, am very happy with my purchase and my experience and would highly recommend!

Wouldn't recommend doing business with AutoNation Arlington.  They lose any interest in you as a customer once you drive off the lot.  Case in point:  it took me 4 phones calls over the course of several weeks to get my tags.  And, my temp tags expired.  Additionally, my 2013 F150 King Ranch truck (great truck) had locking locking lugs installed with no KEY!.   Well, I subsequently moved out of state and took the truck in for a recall when I discovered  the issue.  Cost me $ 75.00 to get the lugs forcibly removed and new ones installed.  Autonation refused to reimburse me.  Buyer be weary of this dealership and Andy Pham, Internet salesmen.

Walked in to AutoNation Arlington at 8:30 in the evening after a deal fell through with another DFW Ford dealer.  I met with Greg and told him the price the other dealership balked at; he found a way to make it work and even beat the financing rate I had pre-arranged with my bank!  No hassle, straightforward attitude from the salesmen to the finance guys.  I only wished I lived close enough to bring my new Mustang back for service!

Bankston Ford of Arlington is a great dealership.  If you need a great sales guy ask for Dean Willman.  They also provide excellent service for repairs, maintenance etc.  If you are ever in an accident, be sure to take your vehicle to the collision center on S. Cooper.  They do "like new" repairs and the quality matches factory quality.  At the collision center, ask for Shauna or Conrad.

I've been back a couple more times now trying to get my pre-owned Kia to stop pulling right.

It took well over an hour for someone to get around to speaking to me about the problem.  He pulled the old records and just said they looked fine to him, so he rotated the tires and claimed that it drive straight as an arrow now.

No surprise, it doesn't.  The next day it was still pulling right.  I don't know whether this is an existing problem for Optimas or whether the shop here just can't get a clue, but I've come out of here with a car that pulls every time I've left so far.  I'm debating whether it's worth going in a fourth time so that they can "fix" it again.

The work was done free of charge and the guys in the shop are usually very friendly and they seem like they really want to take care of you, but at the end of the day, my car still doesn't even drive in a straight line.

I may just have to save my money and pay T&T Brake to actually fix it instead of Bankston just giving me the car back with the same issues I brought it in with,

I was trying to purchase a used vehicle and was working with David Burford.  We agreed on a price and I left to go get the bank financing and sign the papers.  I called back within an hour and Mr. Burford would not take my call.  I called numerous times and had the financing complete with a bank draft in hand.  My wife finally called on another line and Mr. Burford immediately answered the phone.  I was told that while I was in the process of signing papers that they sold the car to someone else.  WHAT A POOR WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!  i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!  Don't turn your back on them and definitely don't trust Mr. Burford!  If they felt that they were doing right they would have at least had the courage to answer my phone calls.  If they had been honest with me, they would have called or taken my calls to let me know.

Again, WHAT A POOR WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!!!

My salesman was Mr. Quinn, he rocks. He nailed everything I was looking for as well as price. Very experienced and professional. The staff in the service department are pleasant also. They need to remodel this place badly though. Be careful, the parking lot is difficult to navigate and is prime pickings for a fender bender.
