Someone called in reminding me to make an appointment. Made the appointment. I need to change the appointment, that was easy. Walked at my appointment time and was checked in right away. The oil was changed quickly. Everyone was very nice. The only negative was the TV was up too loud. I was the only one in the room, but all the guys were listening to the football game from other parts of the building.

Review for service department: I had an overall good experience with Carl Black for servicing my car.

Once I was finally able to speak with someone over the phone (seemed I got forwarded an awful lot), they were very helpful.

I took my car in on a Saturday morning for a rattling noise under my driver's side, and they called me a couple hours later with the problem and that the parts would need to be ordered. They successfully fixed my car the next week. One of the only reasons for a dock in star is because they didn't call me to tell me when the parts were in when they said they would; I had to call. Sean in the service department was friendly, fun, and helpful.

Two negative things I found NOT associated with the service department: there is A LOT of construction going on right now, but it'll look nice eventually. And that the dealer called me wanting "to buy my car." Sorry, guys. I'm not an idiot. Stop trying to put me in a new car and a new payment.

If you have a Chevy, I'd recommend coming here for service!

I always refer to Carl Black as "My" car dealer and repair shop.  After buying from and having my vehicle serviced by Carl Black for the past 7 years, I do not know why I ever bought a vehicle elsewhere. Had a service appointment scheduled for 0900 yesterday.  We were greeted promptly as always, the service was complete and we were out the door by 1000.  Love the fact they respect my time and allowed me to enjoy my weekend.

My husband had met Jeremy and wanted me to test drive an Equinox. After test driving the Equinox & the Traverse... I liked the layout of the Traverse much better, and Jeremy assisted us with the purchase of our new (and beautiful) Traverse.

The traverse provided us with an elegant styling, a larger back seat (for growing boys), an ultra quiet ride, and all the "bells & whistles". It was a perfect fit for our family.

Jeremy was very knowledgeable and helpful in setting it up for our use, he was the best salesperson for my husband and I. He was our kind of people, person. Steven assisted us as well with the test driving end of the purchase that day.

After being a Nissan customer for over 20 years, this is my first Chevrolet. I am very pleased with my vehicle thus far, and look forward to many years of dependability with it.

AUTO SERVICE:

Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonably priced, No Run Around.

I just brought my van in for a service. I had what I thought may have been a blown head gasket or transmission issue. I bring it in and get a phone call a couple hours later telling me that my radiator needed to be replaced. Later in the day they called to tell me to pick it up the next day and that they were able to save me over $250 on parts because they tracked down parts that were in town rather than getting them shipped.

Bonus: they have a shuttle service to pick you up from your house.

It was the last place I shopped and ended up buying a car here. I bought the gap protection and was pleased with the whole ordeal of buying a car. Sales person didn't try and sell me something I didn't want and there was little haggling on the price. I always recommend homework before you buy a vehicle (I sold cars a long time ago), and know its price on a vehicle before you ever consider it. Also, be aware...they will offer warranties and these are tacked on at the end of the deal (offered were three: $1,895, $699, $399). Unless you plan to pay the vehicle off by doubling your payments, think about the total cost to you. They did a good job and adjusted the price when I did not want all the warranties. I would recommend them after you have done your homework. I will certainly report back about service when/if this becomes an issue.
