I had an appointment with Jim Keras on 4/17/2015 to complete all recall, check engine and tire light. During the scheduling of the appointment one of the perks of scheduling an appointment is to identify if, you would be in need of courtesy service. Which I thought was wonderful, I can drop vehicle off, return to work and they would contact via phone with an update and estimated on vehicle repairs, timeframe to complete repairs and cost. Upon my arrival I  was informed that courtesy vehicle was not there, so I had contact my place of employment because now I will not return as quickly as I thought. After and 30 minutes to an hour wait, the courtesy vehicle returns me to my place of employment. After 4 - 5 hours of waiting for a status, update on vehicle. I contact Jim Keras and I received very poor and unprofessional customer services, dishonesty, there was lack if integrity and the callous mannerism of the technicians when I called inquired about my vehicle. These are among the many reason why I would not recommend or visit place in the new future. Jim Keras DID NOT do what they promise to do, I was provide with a quote for things that was not wrong with my car, they stated an ignition was replace due to the recall and provide me a new ignition and set of keys, explain why my spare keys, that was at home during this time and from the previous ignition still operates my vehicle, therefore not only DID they NOT replace the recalled ignition switch, but stated they did. How dishonest can you be towards a customer!!!! They stated I had a blown head gasket, which turn out to be a pinched in the line that lead to the radiator, last they said I had a oil leak, I still trying to find the leaks, since I had recently had an oil change and the so call oil leak would have been pretty obvious to the mechanic who had recently completed the oil changed. I never receive a reply why the tire gauge light was on!!!What really put the icing on the cake is when I was talking with the technician, who was apparently upset because I did not want to leave another message voice mail, I want to speak to someone because I did not want to be stranded at work and when he answered, he spoke and quoted to me in a very NASTY tone, "THIS IS NOT A GOOD DAY FOR THIS". I IMMEDIATELY FOUND ME A RIDE TO PICK MY VEHICLE UP AND LEFT THE PREMISES, HOWEVER HE STATED DURING THE PHONE CONVERSTATION THAT THE 3 RECALLS WAS COMPLETED!!!!!!! This was a joke!!!

I have bought two cars from Jim Keras. I go there for all my service.  They have great cars and there sales men will work with you. I was buying my car with insurance help and they worked with me through the whole process. I was more than just my credit score. They treat everyone equal. I am young and so some car places try to take advantage of me but not Jim Keras. Steve in the shop is great. Genome the salesman is awesome.

I have been stressed since my daughter wrecked my car and was getting more depressed thinking about the car buying experience.  A friend recommend Jim Keras Chevrolet.  He said as a former employee, these are good and honest people who will work hard to make the deal you want happen. They called me and got the ball rolling. Then I got a call with approval. I went and signed my paperwork and was pulling out with a freshly detailed and fully gassed car in just  a couple of hours!

Horrible service. They went out of their way to be rude and confrontational. Slimy and crude even by car dealership standards. Prices are also not competitive with other dealers in the region. And this was my experience at the stage of getting a quote. I can only imagine the nightmare they are to deal with if you go further in the buying process.

Went back home...I had a mechanic replace a drive belt that Keras was gonna charge me $258.00 to replace...they charged me only $50.00...told me they would have driven the 135 miles and towed me back to Union City to fix my Burb for less that what they charged me!...Shame on Chevrolet...they make their automobiles hard to repair...so the dealerships can make a killing...I'll take my new mechanic up on the offer if I ever get stuck in Memphis again
