Where to begin...hmmm...OK, I'll start with the nice things...
All of the mechanics and all of the guys in the office were super nice all week long. They have very comfortable couches and two swiveling rocking recliners that are super duper comfortable in the drivers lounge. The TV is old, but it works and there are plenty of channels to choose from. The ladies room is sparkling clean, and they have a nice big CLEAN washer & dryer that DOES NOT REQUIRE QUARTERS!!!
One big down side is there is no available food delivery and the vending machines are not well stocked.
Ok...so I had to wait three days for a part to arrive, but that's because it was coming from northern Ohio...there was a lot of snow and the roads were crappy so the delivery truck couldn't make it...I commend that driver for thinking of his or her safety as well as all other travelers on the road, so no real gripe there.
Now for the part that knocked there star count down...the part was installed and they took the truck for a test drive...standard procedure...BUT a friggin 4 HOUR TEST DRIVE??? SERIOUSLY???!!! That's a pile of malarkey! So the "test drive" is finally over and they tell me it'll be just a little longer because they want to check some things...ok...no problem, right? WRONG!! They never pulled it back in the shop, nor did they check anything else...they buried the truck deep in the back lot and never bothered letting me know it was ready...2 additional wasted hours.
I finally find somebody (after their hour long break is over) I get the keys, search and search and finally find the truck...scoot on down to Atlanta...and guess what?? 2 hours too late to deliver and they say I have to wait until Monday. Thanks Worldwide Equipment for helping me extend my downtime...making ZERO money for two more days. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I absolutely detest Volvo trucks and let's add to that my deep disdain for Volvo shops!
