Reviews on Lance Cunningham Ford

Brittany in service treated me so professional I had to write a review for the dealership and her service. I am a businessman that values his time. She got my vehicle checked in, and arranged a half day rental for me so efficiently I was stunned.
Thank you to the whole team as I was even happier upon picking up my car and the return of my rental. !!! Keep up the good work! I will be back.

After 18 months of driving my Expedition I put 38k miles on it and wanted to trade. While I was a bit upside down on financing, salesman Cole worked with me and I got a new Explorer fully loaded, lowered my payments and had another great LC experience.

Bad Communication and no training. Took an SUV in for a flat repair.  I told the service writer exactly where the nail was because it was about 1.5 inches in from the edge. (some places won't repair these) She said ok ok. They automatically do an alignment check.  The rear was out.  I was offered a 2 or 4 wheel fix.  I picked the 2 since only 2 were out of spec.  They called later and said they can't repair the tire.
Went in to pay and was charged for a 4 wheel alignment which I had to pay.  They said that type of car only 4 wheel is available. (Then why offer a 2 wheel??)  We were across town when they called to pick it up.  Still had to wait about 15min to get the car out of the shop once we were there because no one told the tech to drive it out.  Nice people, just not trained.  I feel like I was stolen from with the alignment scam, I do not plan on returning to this dealership.
I found a place that fixed my tire elsewhere.

My first trip to L.C. and I was not impressed with this Ford dealership. First off I went in with "The Works" nationally offered Ford coupon service deal which Called for the following.
* Synthetic Blend Oil Change
* Tire Rotation and Pressure Check
* Brake Inspection
* Multi-Point Inspection
* Fluid Top-Off
* Battery Test
* Filter Check
* Belts and Hoses Check

Well apparently this doesn't cover checking the transmission. Ok now they want $80 just to place my 95 Ford Taurus on a diagnostic machine. After this activity( which takes 4 hours to do)they say my transmission is shot and they want $3200!  Really!  Well I call around and find both parts and labor to be 60% cheaper on average. Dealerships still cling to an outdated business model in this Information Age and believe they can overcharge customers. Good luck L.C.  I for one I'm happy for healthy competition in the automotive servicing business.

This was our second vehicle purchase in as many years. Our first being with Ben. Unfortunately, Ben wasn't in the day we purchased, but Mr. McCarty was just as fantastic!  You've made customers for life!  When we find a company that treats us as well as you do, we are very loyal. It's why we've been with our cell phone provider since 1999 haha!  I look forward to doing business with you again and will definitely refer customers to John and Ben.   My husband came at them with an offer, and John countered with a BETTER offer!!

I had been shopping for a CMAX SEL with some specific options.  This is a popular vehicle and Matt was able to find me as close to what I wanted that was available in my aggressive timeline to purchase a car.

On the day I can to pickup the car, Matt also found me additional rebates that saved me a nice chunk of change

Mixed feelings on this dealership.  Nice that they have a hot lunch counter!  Made an appointment, got a babysitter and went to look at explorers only to be told when I got there that they didn't have a single one on the lot.  Tried to convince me to order one even without a test drive. Didn't even check the dealer network to see I the one I wanted existed elsewhere.  Who runs out of explorers the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend AND can't even tell you when they'll get more.  pay a little more for gas and visit Mike Cox at Ray Varner Ford in Clinton or Michael Borkman and Ted Russell on Parkside.  They were both great to work with and really knew their stuff (and not high pressure).
