We recently purchased a Cross Trek and we love it. The drive and ride are outstanding. We would give the dealership high marks as we arrived on a Saturday thirty minutes before closing. Sydney our sales representative stayed with us through the whole process of buying the vehicle. It was Nine o'clock when we were finished with all the paperwork and she still took the time to set up the Blue Tooth and show us all the features of our new vehicle. My Air Force career has seen us be in a lot of places in America and Europe. This is possibly the best customer service we have had while buying a new vehicle. We currently have over two thousand miles on the vehicle and we truly love everything about it. In the future we will be buying another vehicle from them.

We've now purchased three Subaru's (WRX, Crosstrek XV, & Legacy) with Grayson Subaru and the buying process couldn't be any easier.  Speak with Seth Hart (Grayson Subaru's Internet Manager) and he will find the exact car you're looking for.  John Myers took extremely great care of us and is absolutely world class when it comes to Subaru's.  We are more than satisfied and we will definitely buy again and again from Grayson Subaru from Seth and John!

I wish I could rate them with negative stars. Went there looking for a good used car & they tried to rip us off big time. We found a used Hyundai we were looking into buying. A close family member is a tire specialist so we had him check out the tires because the tread looked old (even though Grayson swore the tires were brand new). He told us the tires were not only old (no longer sold actually & he said they'd probably been pulled from some random used tired stock they keep for cars they sell) but they were completely wrong for that car. He has a book that his company goes by & the book showed that the tires were wrong. We had him talk to the dealers & they basically laughed at us. So we took our cash somewhere else & we're so happy we got away from them. These people mark their cars extremely high, too. I understand a little haggling but not with them. They're out to rip you off, I would steer clear.

I had a similar experience to Rachel F. Avoid this place!

Here's my experience:
I brought my Subaru in for an oil change and got a call back saying it needed a 30k and 40k service at the same time for over +$1k in parts and labor. I called the previous service center (dealership) to ask whether the 30k service had already been done (I'm the second owner) and they explained that everything Grayson was recommending had already been completed the previous year. Better yet, all the service completed was online for the car and any dealer could access records for the car and should have known that it was already done. So, essentially Grayson was either a) trying to recommend services they knew wasn't needed but wanted to charge me for anyways or b) was to lazy or inept to use the dealer network to determine the work was already done. Either way, I would not recommend them for service and will be taking my business elsewhere.

If I had the option to gives 0 stars, I would.

We took our Subaru into the service department to be looked at, as it was leaking oil.  The first time we took it in, they told us it just needed an oil change. However, they claimed it wasn't under our warranty since we had obviously had it changed before (which we had not, we had just purchased the car a few months before).  We went ahead and paid out of pocket and went on our merry way.  The service technician told us that we would continue to smell oil burning as it "burned off of our engine".

A week later when the oil was low and the smell had not gone away we took it back in.  This time they told us that the oil pan had been damaged in an accident and we needed to report it to our insurance.  Considering we had not been in an accident, I was pretty confused. Again, they claimed it would not be covered under our warranty (either of them - we have the standard and extended). We had no choice but to have the car repaired, so we left it with them.

The next day my husband received a phone call stating that it wasn't the oil pan after all , but the timing belt and crankshaft.  Again, they claimed it would not be covered under our warranty since the crankshaft "had been opened before".  At this point you start to wonder what the heck is going on.  It took them 3 times to find the problem and each time something wasn't quite right to use the warranty?

We went ahead and paid for the repairs, got the car back.  I called about our warranty and it turned out that yes, indeed, it was covered our warranty and we were reimbursed by Subaru for all repairs Grayson had charged us for.

Two weeks later, the same problem started happening again.  This time we took the car somewhere else. We have been told that there is an oil leak involving the timing belt and crankshaft.  Amazingly enough, all repairs have been covered under our warranty along with the rental car we are supplied with while our car is in the shop (Grayson told us that it was not covered under our warranty either).

Sounds suspicious, does it not?

Since our dealings with Grayson, I've had several people tell me to not do business with them.  Many of them have had the same issues we have run into, and a few bought cars from them and ended up having to have work done.  I think it is safe to say that they are not a favorite around Knoxville.

I highly recommend steering clear of their service/repair shop.  They have no idea what they are doing (3 times to diagnose a problem) and once they diangos a problem , they'll take you for a "ride".

We have bought a couple cars from this dealer and had great service throughout the buying experience.
I can't quite give all 5 stars due to their service department. I'm usually very happy with the quality of service I get, however, the timing is another thing. I was much happier this morning and actually quite surprised. I was told that I needed to replace a broken shock a few weeks ago and disappointed when the part took over a week to come in. This morning I was the first one in line to get the part put on and was told it would take 2-3 hours. I have to wait for the service to be done due to no other means of transportation. I was very happy when only after an hour and a half they were finished. I am hoping this type of service continues.
Overall, the people are very polite, friend, making sure you get everything you need, etc. They remind you of periodic services coming up, however, they aren't pushy. They don't get upset if you get the service somewhere else.
I have been very pleased and as long as they keep up the timing like this morning, I'll continue to go there to service my car.

Waited 6 months from the hailstorm to even get an appointment to bring my car in. After the headache of dealing with insurance, they assured me all would be worked out between them and my insurance company, and the car would be fixed in about a month. Well, about a month later I call to get an update and I'm told they haven't even started. They haven't even touched it! Are you kidding? After all the struggle of a month with no car! They didn't even call me. After a long call with them and the insurance guy, and finding a check they said they were waiting on that had actually been there for weeks, I'm told it would be after the new year before it will even be worked on. You've got to be kidding. Its now been four months since I took the car in, and I keep being told that it will be ready at the end of next week.  I know that they are busy but the customer service has sucked. I would NEVER take my car here again.
