I had to have my car towed there on Monday because the engine was smoking. By Wednesday it was ready for pickup. They had done the repairs under my extended warranty and an oil change for me as a courtesy. I cannot say how grateful I am to the service team. I spoke with Cheri and Shawn numerous times and they were so kind to me. They gave the best customer service in Philly.

I brought my Volt in for scheduled maintenance. It needed some diagnostic tests, and I was given a rental car while it was being repaired. That was really nice, and Paul in Service made sure everything was taken care of. He was a pleasure to work with!

You know..... I used to get really good service here, bought my car here, always get my oil changes and service done here..but since the beginning of the year I have been getting the worst phone service possible.

Every time I call to make a service appointment I get put on hold FOREVER. Then when I finally get someone on the line they either tell me they need to call me back(which guess what? they never do!) or I get transferred to the sales department because I have been sitting on hold forever. I feel bad for the lady Renee who always picks up the phone in Sales because she is the only one I can ever get on the phone! She takes my name and number, gives it to Service and GUESS WHAT? I never hear back!

Then when I finally actually get the scheduler on the phone she is rude and unhelpful. I go here because I get free oil changes with the Chapman sticker on my car but I am considering just paying someone else to do it because I am so frustrated!

My salesman was Edwin. He knew a lot about the vehicle and kept his word with everything he said he would do. He worked hard to help me. Great Service! Made me feel like family. Definitely recommend him and the dealership

As most dealers, I assumed you had an express oil change service so I walked in Saturday morning. I was told an appointment was required but Felicia and the gentleman at the service counter took me anyway. I had to run errands with the wife so waiting was not an issue. I really appreciate them fitting me in.

Bummer. That's the word I would use to describe my experience at Chapman Chevrolet. I moved to Philadelphia not long ago and decided to take it to a dealer for what I thought was a simple repair. Not knowing where to go, I consulted Yelp and chose Chapman because of the positive reviews.

To start off, despite making an appointment days in advance for repair, I waited approximately 2 hours before my car was even seen by a technician. At least the waiting room was nice and I had a chance to catch up on my daytime cable. 45 minutes after checking out my car, the service rep came to me with multiple repairs which amounted to hundreds of dollars. Some of the suggested repairs dealt with parts which I replaced relatively recently. Feeling uneasy about making the fixes, I decided to make a call to my hometown, friendly mechanic. After chatting with him and going over the details of what I was experiencing with my car, it became pretty clear that most of the repairs (which were stressed as necessary for safety reasons) weren't needed!

While I don't know if the car repairs recommended by Chapman's service department were incorrect because of error or an attempt to take advantage of me, I do know I will not be returning. Again, bummer.

The Chapman Chevrolet service experience is one of a kind!  You call and make an appointment.  Drive into the Service welcome bay.  A service rep greets you while you're still in your car and writes up your issues.  You go into the service office with the rep until he/she enter your service order into the computer (5 mins).  You the can either wait in the nice lounge or catch a ride to work or back home with "Ish" who is very nice.  Later your service rep calls you to review exactly what your car needs and nothing more!  They accept service coupons too!  "Ish" can either pick you up again or you can catch a ride back to pickup your car when done.  Prices are reasonable for a dealership.  Take your car here especially if still under warranty!
