I called chapman over a month ago to get me cobalt ignition recall fixed. I just called back and they have no record of my call. Justin the recall specialist insisted that I must have spoken with their old specialist and that SHE was fired for not making appointments correctly. The only problem being I talked to a guy the first time! You guys messed up. Don't be Dishonest and throw ex employees under the bus. Take responsibility and think about apologizing! Not to mention every day I drive without getting this fixed is a day I could possibly die because of the faulty part that is being recalled! I would never take my car here. Be warned!!

Pros:
- Shelly Sharpe was an excellent salesman. He is very nice and very accommodating
- I received the used car I was looking for and they made it fit within my budget.

Cons:
- Market value for my trade-in was 11,000.  I was offered 8,500.  I understand everyone wants to make money, but that was a low ball offer. It gave me the feeling that the dealership did not have my best interest at hand.
- Once it was time for the manager to discuss numbers, he (Ed) shoo'd Shelly and his trainee away.  I thought that was very unprofessional.
- I was told I would be given a certain percentage rate for financing my vehicle. I understand percentage rates and what it takes to get certain amounts. If a bank can not meet the rate your dealership told a customer, then tell them. I went all the way through to the paperwork stage, to see on the documents (having never been told,) the percentage rate was not what was agreed upon. Don't hide it in the paperwork!  Once again, I felt the dealership was being deceptive.

I would not recommend Chapman Chevy to any friends, family, or colleagues.  I have had excellent experiences with Chapman Nissan and the Honda dealership next door.  Management is the issue.

I brought my 2005 Saturn ION Redline in for an oil change on 4/13. The oil change took quite a long time (upwards of 2 hours), but the explanation that the service manager offered made sense, and I've had similar experiences with the car elsewhere, so this wasn't unexpected (the oil filter is located directly below the supercharger, which prohibits easy access and makes it very likely that they'll spill oil onto the exhaust when removing the filter). That said, I don't have any reason to go anywhere else in the future. I feel like these guys have the experience working on cars like mine. I'll be coming back.
