Reviews on McCoy Freightliner

This is by far the best Freightliner dealership I have been to in the country. The driver lounge is amazing... Everyone treats you like you are the owner no matter who you are. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I got in and out and back on the road in no time. Do not listen to the other comments. Whenever I come back to the northwest I will go out of my way to stop here!

RVers Beware!  The service department consists of liars and incompetents. They failed to make a simple repair to my motorhome as I had requested (an air release cable re-attachment).  Instead they backed my coach into something causing $4200 in body damage.  Of course they denied responsibility & I had to submit it to my insurance.  My motorhome was new with only 4000 miles and had not a scratch on it when I left it with them. A letter to Freighliner Corporation did no good since McCoy is an independent dealer.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!  0 STARS.

I wish to give this business 0 stars.  The parts departments are inept at both Brooks and Portland.  I tried to buy 8 wheels that seems simple enough.  The guy at the logging show told me to pick them up at Brooks yet in the meantime he had taken all the wheels from the store to the logging show.  At brooks they told me I could get three of the eight I wanted at  Portland.  So since I had a five hour drive to get home I thought I would just get  three, I didn't have time to drive back to Eugene.
At Portland the problem became a part number, which I didn't have and the parts kid found a half hour later,  then we got the wheels loaded and discovered the were not the polished ones I had asked for,  so the parts department commence to finding a new part number and trying to locate where the wheels if any might be.  That took about a hour and finally they found they had eleven, Great I'll take eight!  Oh but they are at the Jansen Beach warehouse and we can't get them here for three hours.  That was enough for me, I went home with no wheels and a vow not to do any more business with them again and to spread the word about my bad experience .

If I could give them 0 stars I would.  We were buying a Sprinter cab & chassis and having a box put on the truck.  We negotiated what we thought was an equitable deal trading in a Navistar rig on the deal.  We had to order the Sprinter, a 2014 and they lead time was a little over 4 months.  I understand that, not a problem.  The Sprinter arrives the box is being built on it and all of the sudden there is a renegotiation of the deal.  The trade-in value on the Navistar has dropped $6000.00.  Mind you the trade-in had been looked at twice and had not been driven for 6 months.  They had us over a barrel and they knew it.

Since a Sprinter is a Sprinter regardless of the badge (Freightliner or Mercedes) I would suggest that you look to a dealer that will stand by their word.  This is not the place!

These guys have really gone down hill over the years. They never have parts in stock and hardly answer their phones.
