My friend in the car business told me about this service. Ray Ramirez helped me. I knew what car I wanted, but he offered to bring any other cars over to our house for us to test drive. He helped me get exactly the car I wanted. I bought the new Honda Fit. I wanted heated seats, but none of the other features in the package. He took my car to have heated seats installed, and they look and function as if factory installed, but it was $1000 less than the package would have cost.
It took 15 minutes to complete the paperwork, at our dining room table. Ray couldn't have been more helpful. It was so easy. We were going to be out of town and didn't want the new car until we got back. Ray held our new car and postponed picking up my trade-in until it was convenient for us, day and time. He was always on-time, on our schedule. I don't think I could ever go back to buying from a dealer again.

I wish I had known about Central Sales when I purchased my past two cars. It would have saved me from a lot of grief and frustration. And I wouldn't have thought of buying car as such a daunting experience.

Luckily, this time around, I heard about this service and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did!  Our company needed a vehicle in a short period of time.  I was dreading getting it simply to avoid the usual process: researching, finding ads, calling around, going from one dealership to another and, worst of all,  negotiating with them. The thought of the experience alone was enough to postpone the purchase until the last minute.

In the end, I was able to find the best option, at the best price, quickly, conveniently and with no extra fees. This purchase saved me from driving all over town and having to negotiate with the dealers. That alone is priceless.

I worked with Matt during the entire process, and he went above and beyond to help us. He was timely, responsive, organized and very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate about working with him and the crew at Central Sales again!

I purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from Central Sales about two weeks ago. I had such an incredible experiance with their innovative approach. This is unlike anything you ever experianced before. The personnel are genuine and seek to provide an exceptional experiance, and that is exactly what I got. The Car was just detailed and in great condition. This is a long overdue review for Central Sales ...sorry for the novel, but there's so much good stuff to say. I purchased a 2013 Scion tC last summer.  I absolutely, positively downright hate dealerships, and in particular, I don't care much for Ron Tonkin dealerships. Central Sales made me avoid dealing with them completely, and made my life SO much easier. FYI - They will actually drive a vehicle to a location of your choice - even your house, to test drive. You could potentially sign paperwork for your new vehicle on your dining room table, or like another review says...in your car!

The communication with Stacey and Ray was excellent, and they were quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Before I even arrived with my trade-in vehicle, (and to test drive the Scion) they already had a trade-in price for me, in fact, it was beyond what I was even expecting. They do all of the haggling and negotiating for you, and that's what I loved. Financing options were available via email and well before I even came to test drive my car. Ray was hilarious and really works hard at what he does...I told him I wanted to be sure the back of the car was big enough to sleep in (seriously, we camp a lot and I was curious) so he put the seats down and laid down LOL. He also helped me clean out my trade-in car and put all of the stuff in the new car.

They let me leave that night with the car and they felt absolutely terrible that I was leaving with a car that wasn't detailed inside and out. I didn't really care, I just wanted my new car! I drove it downtown the next day with the agreement that they would come pick it up from a parking lot that I left it in...and they would return it when done so I could come out and sign paperwork. Sure enough...at the end of my work day, I found my car..sparkling clean inside and out. They had picked it up and put it in the exact same spot!

The best part of this entire process is...despite these people being in sales, I felt no pressure whatsoever about anything. It was just amazing. Can't wait to purchase my next vehicle!

Central Sales provided an extraordinary buying experience for us. We worked with Ray and found him to be highly professional, punctual, and with no-pressure tactics (I see other reviews referencing a Roy and I don't know if that's a different employee, but Ray was superb). We kept changing out minds and were a little uncertain, but even when we asked to see the same car again (that we had previously rejected) he was very patient and understanding. Then, we even tested his patience further when we asked to take it to our own mechanic for an inspection before buying (we are paranoid). But Ray was perfectly accepting of that and even helped us get it there.  That's what we all want when buying a car. We officially bought the car yesterday-I had a super busy day at work, so Ray delivered the car to us and the paperwork took 10 minutes. Seriously. And that includes applying for the loan! I would send anyone to them for a completely different car-buying experience!

I hardly ever write reviews so this is rare for me but I had such an awesome experience buying a car from Ray & Ben at Central Sales that i've become a total raving fan and wanted to share my experience.

I have had several people ask me about the process so here's how it worked for us: We had done a bit of research and were deciding between a Pilot and a Highlander. Ray (who was great to work with) from Central Sales brought both cars to our house on multiple occasions (including evenings after work and weekends) so that we could test drive them at home and in our neighborhood, try them with our carseat and see which one fit better in our garage.  We were also deciding between a couple of different model years so we were extra difficult :) It was a very easy process and the real bonus for us is that we didn't have to drag our 8 month old baby to a car dealership for 4 hours on a weekend. Once we decided, we filled out a quick finance form via email and they handled all of that for us, a making sure they found us the lowest rate.  They tracked down the exact car we wanted (colors/features/etc) and again, brought it to our house.  It took about 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork and then we did a quick "training" on the new car, how to use the features etc, and we were all set!

The pricing model is 100% transparent so you know exactly what you are getting and for me, the best part is that you don't have to deal with talking to multiple layers of management, and juggling with the sales guy, the finance guy, the warranty guy.

Compared to the typical car buying process, (which always takes too long and ends up feeling way more stressful and deflating than it should)  this process left my husband and I thinking "Why would anyone NOT buy a car this way?".  With both of us working full time and a new baby at home, this was a no brainer.  I think Central Sales could change the entire car buying landscape (and I sincerely hope they do).  Oh and they are locally owned--which is always important to us when choosing who we do business with.

I had a great experience buying our Acura MDX with Matt Kim at Central Sales!  He listened keenly to our needs and then presented us with options that met them perfectly. The best part was the fact that I never had to set foot on a dealership, Matt came to me with the car!  Matt was incredibly knowledgable and walked us through the whole process in a casual manner.  If you want a car buying experience that is tailor fit to your needs, this is the way to go!  Thaks guys.

I contacted them in January and spoke to a friendly chap who confirmed, as I had suspected, that the car I was interested in might be difficult to find (a new Jetta Sportwagen TDI with a manual transmission).  However, after checking his sources, he informed me that he could get one around the end of February.  As much as I deplore automatic transmissions, I replied, said the time frame was fine, and requested a delivery date and price for a manual transmission, but to also check to see how much sooner he could find one with an automatic in the color and trim specs I was interested in.  Over a week passed without a reply from CS.  I emailed the guy back wondering what was up.  He apologized and said he would check again.  No reply since.  Nothing.  They couldn't even give me a date and a price for the automatic or the manual.  Sorry guys, that's a poor effort and you did not earn my business!!

First, let me say that I hate buying cars.  The whole dealer process is full of hassles and you are left wondering if you got a good deal.  The process with Central Sales is EXACTLY the opposite.  I have never had such a hassle free buying process.  The people there are great and the process couldn't have been better.  Finally, a dealer that understands what the car buying process should be like.  I highly recommend.

Central Sales provides the car buying experience that everyone should have. If you've ever wanted to buy a car just like you've bought everything else - phone, computer, washing machine - except Central Sales *will come to your house,*  then look no further.

All the details are discussed up front, which is completely opposite of the traditional dealership experience, and then they try to find a car you'll like, is a good value, and that you can afford. There are no "gotchas" or cheap sales schemes. We're actually looking forward to our next car purchase, though that may be years away, thanks to the great deal we got on a car we loved.

This approach has netted them at least one customer for life.

After looking online and talking to multiple dealerships including Costco's Auto Program, I called Central Sales.  I can't imagine ever walking into a dealership again!  I had the pleasure of working with Ben and Matt.  What an amazing experience.  This is my sixth car purchase and by far the easiest.  I felt confident on the price of my Honda Pilot.   I can't imagine buying a car any other way.  The test drive took place in my neighborhood and papers signed at my kitchen table.  The service didn't stop there.  Matt continued to work with me on after market additions.  I never thought I'd receive Nordstrom service when buying a car.  Thank you Central Sales!

We just purchased a used Toyota Sequoia from Central Sales and it was by far the easiest car buying experience ever! They brought 3 cars to our home to test drive and they never pressured us in the process. The Sequoia was great and the service was equally great. They handled all of the finance arrangements for us and gave us a very fair number for our Nissan on trade. In February, my husband and I bought a brand new Toyota Tacoma truck through the amazing services of Central Sales in Portland, an automotive concierge.  I had never heard of such a service, but was introduced to it by my son-in-law.  Without leaving our home, we were able to get exactly what we wanted delivered to us to test drive and upon purchasing brought to our home.  Stacy Evenson, a client specialist with Central Sales couldn't have been a better person to show us how easy it could be.  Not only did we get a very competitive rate, we got personal attention in how to use the new technology and workings of a our new truck.  All the paperwork, all the details were brought to our home with our new truck.  Stacy spent time explaining everything to us and I felt assured that as consumers we were being taken care of.  It was a totally opposite feeling from past experiences buying a new vehicle.  Thank you Stacy and Central Sales for a brilliant way to make purchasing a new vehicle so pleasant!

Going into my car buying process was daunting, to say the least. That is until I was connected with Central Sales. I HONESTLY can not say enough good things about their services and the way I was treated!

I was very nervous about making  a large purchase and had been warned by pretty much every person I know about the "dealership pressure" to expect, the long hours of negotiating and waiting for better deals. I didnt have to deal with ANY of it!!

My first step was calling, I spoke to a very nice and poised young woman who asked what I did and did not want in a car and what my budget was. Later that day I was emailed a list of SEVERAL options from all the Ron Tonkin lots. I did my car shopping on my couch in my robe that night.

Once I made some selections, I contacted her again and she BROUGHT THE CAR TO MY HOUSE for the test drive! Are you kidding me?? Who does that?? Thats INCREDIBLE SERVICE! She answered all 42,688 questions I had before during and after the test drive and never seemed annoyed or frustrated by my lack of car knowledge.

After a few phone calls with banks about the loans the deal was done. The very next day, she brought the car back to my house and I signed the check in my living room. No hours at the dealership, no haggling, no pressure. Just the best rate first and answers to any questions.

I seriously dont know how this experience could have been easier! I am recommending Central Sales to EVERYONE I know who is interested in buying a car. The leg work is all done for you with a smile and they never hesitate to make sure you know everything you want to about what you're getting into. I will never buy a car anywhere else!

I cannot believe dealerships haven't done this before. They brought MULTIPLE cars to my work for me to try. It was brilliant. The associates were so incredibly nice too. I think between my boyfriend and I we must have asked a thousand question and they were on all of them in no time.

Not only did this process take the stress out of buying a car but made me feel so much more confident with making a big purchase.

A big purchase such as a car should not be taken lightly and should not be one where the customer is the one who's having to put themselves out there.

Tonkin has really changed the way people shop for cars, instead putting the customer first. Very cool in my book.

Wow.  These guys actually make shopping for a car fun and convenient without charging a premium.

Neither my wife or I are car people. My wife was looking for an all-wheel drive car that would be fun to drive and function well with our kids.  At the suggestion of a friend, we called Central Sales.

A day after listening to my wife's criteria, a big guy named Ben showed up with an Acura MDX.  My wife test drove it around the neighborhood.  She liked the car, but felt it was a little small for our family of five and our dog.

At my wife's request, Ben showed up the next day with an Audi Q7.  It was a perfect match.  We couldn't be happier.

The service was fantastic.  But it was Ben's great listening skills that impressed us the most.
