History

Established in 2014.

Vic Alfonso Cadillac was purchased by Lithia Motors in 2014 and renamed Cadillac of Portland.
Walt DeBoer founded Lithia Motors in 1946 as a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge dealership in Ashland, Oregon. Following Walt's death in 1968, Walt's son Sid along with Dick Heimann, grew the business to include 5 stores and 19 franchises in Southern Oregon.
In December 1996, this collection of dealerships was transformed into Lithia Motors, Inc., a publicly traded company (NYSE stock symbol-LAD). We envisioned a company that would continuously grow, provide great customer service, and opportunities for employees.

Brought in my Escalade to have a running board motor replaced. They charged half of what a local Cadillac service shop quoted ($500 vs. $1000). Great customer service experience all-around.

I went to this location today to attempt to get a cable so I could play my music from my iphone 5 to my cars speakers. I previously purchased a cable for my iphone 4 since their system cannot stream they a regular phone cable. A year after the iphone came out they still have no cable to connect my iphone and the manager (Marty) I spoke to - after asking 3 people previous, was very rude and condescending to me while not seeming to understand this is a basic issue that is an easy fix. I will definitely never be back to this location and would advise future customers that cadillac does not have any technology available for today's world.
