History

Established in 2014.

Braley & Graham Buick GMC was purchased in 2014 by Lithia Motors and renamed Buick GMC of Beaverton.
Walt DeBoer founded Lithia Motors in 1946 as a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge dealership in Ashland, Oregon. Following Walt's death in 1968, Walt's son Sid along with Dick Heimann, grew the business to include 5 stores and 19 franchises in Southern Oregon.
In December 1996, this collection of dealerships was transformed into Lithia Motors, Inc., a publicly traded company (NYSE stock symbol-LAD). We envisioned a company that would continuously grow, provide great customer service, and opportunities for employees.

From sales to service everyone is truly kind here. I've been around the block with dealers from high end to low and these guys do it right.  GMC is also a great product!

This dealership was initially Braley & Graham Pontiac-Buick-GMC, then became Braley & Graham Buick-GMC with GM's discontinuation of Pontiac Motor Division, and is now Beaverton Buick-GMC.  I also won't hold it against them that they are under the umbrella of Lithia.  I tend not to like the mega-dealerships.  Also, while not a big deal, they are technically not in Beaverton, but a stone's throw from it.  However, putting Beaverton in their name makes much more sense than large and sometimes amorphous SW Portland.  They are conveniently found on SW Canyon Road, a much more pleasant car shopping alternative than either "Ron Tonkin Boulveard" in SE Portland or McLoughlin Boulevard as it goes through Milwaukie and "Happy Rock."

I have gone in here to browse, to shop for an actual purchase, and to use their service department.  I have also called their service department to indicate what service item I may want to schedule and check its cost.  At each exchange, the people I have dealt with were true gentlemen in that they were very professional and not at all pushy.  In fact, I wanted to buy my last car here because the salesman was very personable, low key, and some of his geographic trajectory partially mimicked that of my family, but each area dealership seemed to have about 5 to 7 of each model, possibly for controlling the interest carry, and I found a vehicle much the way I would have ordered it at another dealership.

Keep up the good work and the good attitude.  Keep it just like it was when it was Braley & Graham Pontiac-Buick-GMC and, more recently, Braley & Graham Buick-GMC.

Not even a full tank of gas???

My wife and I bought a slightly used 2014 Chevy Tahoe here that was by far the cleanest and lowest mileage Tahoe that we found after a lot of looking. The complaint we have is this was the only car purchase we ever had where we couldn't negotiate a better price (although clean, still higher than the local comparables) or get them to fix a few of the exterior issues. We were able to get them to attempt to buff out a large scratch on the back that looked the same after they finished and I joke about at least getting a full tank of gas and couldn't even get that...??? Truck had just enough fuel to get to the gas station. On top of all that, after giving the check for the down payment and getting the keys, we basically walked ourselves out. No one even came over to explain the features as promised or see us off. The salesman Jeff just sat in his cubical waiting for us to leave. I guess once the money is exchanged, the customer service wears off here too. The sales manager Denny was one of the few individuals that actually seamed to appreciate our business and dealing with him and getting a good suv,  is the only reason I'm giving 1 star instead of 0.

Brought my car in for a check engine light and another message to check my suspension.  I liked their process. I was assigned to Simon.

Received call from Simon with diagnosis of two problems. One was under warranty which was great, but needed to wait for shipment of part.  They finished job one day ahead of promise date which was great.

Price for other repair and service was fair.  Free would have been better.

Waiting room was fine with comfy seats, TV and such. One complaint was the cookies were all gone.  That was quickly resolved by the extremely nice girl behind the service desk.  Simon was professional and had a great sense of humor.

I will bring my car back. Long drive from West Linn but the reviews for the Gladstone Buick were so bad I did not want to take a chance.
