Reviews on Newberg Ford Mercury

This is the dealership YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH EVER!  I would not trust any of these people starting with the "Managing Partner" John Kerekanich who is as rude as they come.  I bought a NEW 2014  $70k Quadvan from Dale Sykes via the telephone that suddenly needed to be financed as a used vehicle, AFTER they deposited my $12k deposit check. It took my attorney over a month of dealing with the DMV in Oregon to figuring out the titling issues with this vehicle and finally receive my title.  Once they received my check everything changed. Come to find out, there were rebates with my new van- that necessitated the title going to them first in order to claim- which created the problems and delays! But not only did they tell me I was buying a new vehicle, they told me there were no rebates!  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!  Once they get your cash, the act will change!

Bought a low mile used Ford F350 from Newberg Ford.  I wanted to buy a Ford warranty for the truck.  If anything goes wrong with the diesel it's expensive to fix.
They told me "we don't sell Ford warranties".  Sold me a worthless warranty from Fidelity Warranty Service.   Fidelity has to be the worst company on the planet.  The complaint list is endless.  Now I have a sticking turbo and will be paying the entire bill to fix it. Don't let them sell you a garbage warranty.  Only get a genuine Ford warranty.  If they won't sell you one, walk that run away.
At least I'll get some of my money back from canceling the Fidelity contract.  My next step is contact Ford and file a complaint in addition to getting a real Ford service contract.

Truly the most awesome experience I have ever had in over 30 years of buying cars and trucks. The owner is highly active in the business and has excellent sales and service people that treat you like royalty. They also provided the best value when I called various dealers in the area. The 2013 Ford F-150 4x4 Lariat V8 I purchased is nicer than my $90,000 Cadillac Escalade ESV as far as handling, comfort and technology. It pulls my new 24 ft boat so nicely you forgot it is being towed! The back seat room is better than most four door autos. Thank you Newberg Ford and it is nice to buy American and help employ American workers. Also Ford did not take any government bailouts like GM and Chrysler did that cost taxpayers tens of billions plus screwed the poor shareholders and bondholders out of tens of billions and contrary to misleading ads by GM they have not paid back all of the billions taxpayers are owed plus they were allowed to keep tax loss carry forwards after bankruptcy effective giving them tax free status for our lifetimes.

I went to Newberg Ford looking to purchase a new van.  I met Dale the fleet manager and he showed me a great selection to choose from.  He gave me all the facts and did not waste my time with sales pitch.  I really appreciated the way I was treated and I will definately go back to them in the future when looking for car.  Thanks for being easy to deal with.

For some reason or another, we have driven only Fords for the last 15 years or so, and have had Newberg Ford do the servicing, but have never bought a car from them. We were looking to purchase a new Ford C-Max. We went on line to build what we wanted, and put it out for bid to the Portland dealers. Took the build sheet into Newberg Ford, they were as fair as anyone on the price and the trade. Small town dealership, no bs, no pressure. It was a pleasure to deal with them and it feels good to shop local.

I had occasion to purchase an inexpensive used SUV from these folks.  It was a one-owner trade in, a unique find that you might not see in town. The whole transaction took about 90 minutes for a cash deal.  I knew what I wanted but these folks were not pushy and easy to do business with.

You don't need to go to an aquarium to see sharks. The salesmen began to circle around you as soon park your car in the lot. My husband and I came here in search of a used car and the salesman pushed every car we didn't like. After we test drove a car that interested us, we told the man we'd let him know about our decision the next day. We did some research and learned that the insurance premium (for 6 months) was half the cost of the car. Fail. When confronted with this information, the salesman became upset and got his manager to try to sell us the car. We left the shark tank and never looked back.
