Reviews on Newberg Dodge Jeep Chrysler

The dealership overall was pretty car sales typical. Turns out they had the pickup of my dreams, in perfect condition, in stock, and it was very rare. So I was willing to put up with a little sales tactic garbage due to that. I did however have a very good experience with the salesman I worked with directly. His name is Jerome. He is definitely worth working with if you do end up doing business there. He was nice, professional, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle despite it being rare. All in all, I ended up paying a little over kbb book price, but am happy I got the vehicle none the less. Also, the service department seemed pretty good. I will most likely give them a try regarding my maintenance.

These guys are crooks. They will tell you what you want to hear then change their tune. They live up to the "used car salesman" name. Avoid this place at all costs!

I had a wonderful experience, I was referred to Jerome Spencer because I didn't want the BS you'd normally get from a sales person. Jerome was great! Told him what I wanted and he got it for me! Super nice guy, easy to talk and relate to. Showed me the ins and outs of my new car and I was very impressed and happy.

Everything was perfect, finance guy was great too, he didn't try to sell me anything additional but was required to go through the extended warranty stuff, which I declined and he didn't say another word of it.

If anyone goes here, ask for Jerome! He's Awesome!

I'm usually not a fan of taking my truck to a dealership. They charge a lot and nothing seems like a good deal but that's the opposite here. The service has been great and the cost of an oil change is about half of anywhere else. Terry and Ben recently went the extra mile to get my truck fixed and back to me fast. Thx guys!!

Being a recent transplant and searching for a new trust worthy auto shop, I gave Newberg Dodge a shot ( I am NOT a fan of Dealer Service Departments).    Expecting Dealer Service Department pricing to be slightly higher than a smaller Service Shop I previously used, I would like to say that Newberg Dodge has taken great care of my car during it's regular service visits, and have found that the pricing was far more reasonable than expected.

The service department has been had my car done within the time frame quoted with courteous and friendly service.

I am also surprised at the horrible comments regarding their Service department, had I checked Yelp prior to the recommendation I received, I would have put Newberg Dodge in the same round file as everyone else I checked out, luckily I have been pleased with Newberg Dodge Service Department.

Wow I was very surprised to read all the bad comments this place has. I guess everyone has their own unique experience ours was great we first worked with "coach" he was very nice but not very knowledgeable about the car we were buying I think this place could be better if they had more upbeat people.

The only thing I didn't like was how loud they were in the office playing their music super loud and cursing a few times also please when people say we need a few minutes give them time to talk things over I know you guys wanna get your sales done and probably not give people a chance to change their mind. I come from sales my self but try not to be so up in peoples  face.

Other then that the next day we went back in because MATT was a awesome and was able to find us a better rate kudos to him.

Avoid this place. Please do the research before going here. I bought a car from them and turns out it had been in a accident. I dealt with mike the sales rep and mike the manager and BOTH of them are crooks and lie right to your face.

They had advertised 5 day back money guaranteed on there vehicle that were put signs and website. When i went to return the car they wouldnt. After I made a complaint about them ALL signs came down. They don't care and I have spoken other people in town and they all say AVOID this place.

The most pushy, annoying, scum bags on the planet. I had gone there with the hope of finding a new jeep grand cherokee for my wife. Well going there was a horrible experience. We had literally become surrounded by salesmen. What a joke. Ended up in Beaverton at northwest jeep dodge Chrysler. Much better selection and way better experience. Ask for Vic, he was very nice and patient with us, which ended up good him, seeing we got the jeep and I traded in my truck for a new mega cab.

Expect to pay high prices for repairs and hounded via mail, email, and phone if you dare take a vehicle for a test drive.

If you take your car there for a repair ...while they have it they look for other things to fix and then present this to you when you pick up your car...even if they were not directed to do so..this is time I could have had my vehicle back.

LIARS, WONT BACK UP WARRANTY SOLD. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. Sold me the sealant and assured me if there were any issues with the paint that it would be covered and fixed. When I called a year later to tell them about the problem with my paint peeling off they tried to tell me that the sealant is supposed to be applied once a year in order for the warranty to be valid, then he also stated that its Ford's fault not the sealants fault the paint is pealing. Jeremy is a A**HOLE as are all the other staff here. Once they sell you a car they could care less about taking care of you after that.

Avoid Dealerships in general. You are better off buying a car off of Craigslist than from a dealership.  You get the same amount of problems with your car.  The only difference is that when you buy from a dealership you get hosed on the financing and you get your car vacuumed before you get it.  Whoop dee doo!

Ok, so let me start by saying that 1 star seems like too much for them!

We had been taking our truck to the Newberg Dodge repair shop for years. All the while taking their word for it that this or that repair needed to be done. Our most recent and LAST experience came about because our truck wasn't quite running well, but we weren't sure what was wrong. Dodge replaced the spark plugs, and then wanted to do another 4 hours of diagnostics (quoted at another $400) because the spark plugs didn't seem to solve the problem. Something wasn't right, so we pulled the truck and took it to another repair shop. Turns out they had put the wrong spark plugs which had caused a whole lot of damage. After fighting them tooth and nail on it, they ended up fixing it for free, which I would expect at the least after they made such and expensive mistake. At that point we decided never to go back to them.

Now fast forward a few months. We took the truck in to JC Motors in Tualatin (the new place we go to) and told them that we wanted to take care of a leak. Newberg Dodge had checked into it a while back and said that it was a hole in the radiator and would be $600 to repair. JC Motors let me know that it was just a loose hose.

If you would like to be over charged and taken advantage of go to Newberg Dodge. We have never bought a car from them, but after the experience with their repair shop, we NEVER will!
