My Husband and I were looking at Avalanches through Spirit Credit Auto on 21st St in Tulsa on recommendation from my son in law. We wanted an Avalanche and they are discontinued production and the only way to buy one is used. No our credit is by no means perfect, however we have fair scores. When we got to Spirit on Saturday, Justin sent us to IRIDE to look at the Avalanche. The Avalanche we were looking for was sold. We found another one that had low profile tires, 124,000 miles, LTZ, quoted at a price of approximately 16,900. We wanted stock tires. Spoke w James the owner on the phone he said no problem switching them out. I had up to this point been working with Justin via phone. The rep from IRIDE had been clearly told that I wanted to work directly with Justin. However, when we went to do the credit app etc, The rep from IRIDE did all the paperwork. I did not appreciate this at all. Bad Form, I do not tolerate skating another reps leads and recommendations. Then He did the old fashioned style of offer. Hand written on a blank sheet of paper with a higher price of 18,500. When my husband asked him about this the IRIDE rep lied blatantly and said he never quoted a price when in fact he had. These are unacceptable practices. I will NOT do business with either company, will be posting this on YELP, Facebook and will be giving bad references. And just FYI, we left there, went straight down the road to Jim Glover Dodge, bought a 2014 Crew Cab Chevrolet Silverado, the same monthly payment as we were offered for the Avalanche, yes a longer term, However, an honest deal AND much better truck. Also another quick FYI, I used to sell cars and now work for a MAJOR Auto lender. I did not appreciate being treated like I am stupid.
