Reviews on Bob Howard Nissan

My purchase here taught me the satisfaction of the buying experience is number one for this company. I've never seen a sales team work as hard as these people did to make a complicated deal including a trade-in successful. Admittedly I was a tough customer--not because I'm mean or want to stick it to someone, but because I only want the deal if it's right for me. This particular Nissan Rogue was right for me, I fought to make it mine, and now it is. Salesman Allan Reeves and general manager Bobby Lubbers truly earned my business. Completing the financing and paperwork was fast and well organized. I honestly couldn't be happier. I'd even do it again, guys. Would you? ;-)

So I just moved to OKC I needed a service for my nissan and this was the closest to where I live. They found something wrong and quoted $185 additional, I call around to other nissan in Fenton and they gave me a  better price $140! I asked for them for a quote on the regular service that was being done already in this dealership and it was $100 cheaper!  Needless to say I rather drive 15 extra minutes to save $140 on my bill!
I asked if they could match you know since thy could lose a customer and they said no, so they lost me! Bye bye ! Never going back there again

I have taken my vehicle to the service department multiple times and each time I have left angry, unhappy, and dissatisfied. I cannot even begin to express how awful the customer service is here. I took my car there last week and it was definitely  the last time I will ever go there. Not only did they not fix my car, when I called the next morning to speak with the manager, he gave me the most condescending attitude. I don't know if it was because I am a female, or what but I am so over this company.

Absolute worst possible experience buying a car here. Suffice it to say I was sold a car that did not do what I was promised. I drove it off the lot and am now told I can take my chances and trade it in when the new model comes in. Multiple calls and messages were never returned. Ever. The moment I purchased the vehicle I became a ghost. I've never heard so many excuses given for a salesperson giving out bad information. Having a lot of different models of cars available is no excuse to just say whatever sounds good to get the sale. Unless a miracle happens, I am put into a newer model and promises are kept I'm keeping a one star rating. Avoid this place at all costs.

We visited here on Black Friday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Tom was delightful to work with. He answered our questions, allowed us to drive the Armada around town, and was very gracious and calm throughout the process.

I do NOT like car shopping but found both Tom and the sales manager to be great to work with! They were willing to work with our odd insurance issue (we had just totaled our car). They were not pushy nor give us the annoying sales pitch.

The odd part about this review is I did NOT buy my car from them. But we would have had the other option not been available to us! They were professional and courteous. I would happily buy from them in the future!

I did not buy a car here but considered it. This is my experience as a woman, which the point will be below.

UPDATE 7/4/13: It's been over a year since I bought my car at a different location and feel that my previous review was too naive about this dealership. I'd like to re-summarize my experience here.

This was not my first time buying a car and I knew that sales can be difficult. I understand that my experience at this dealership is very UNIQUE because I'm sure every sales experience is different. However,I was so irritated I felt obligated to post a review. So I'm re-reviewing because I was just so angry before.

The sales person I met was pushy, as expected, but what I didn't like was the DAILY calls I got. Yes, I could've called him back to stop, but sometimes, when you feel annoyed with somebody, it's hard to talk to them, so I just kept letting him leave me voicemails. The reason why I felt annoyed is because in a call, he told me, "Well, I know you need to discuss this with your husband so I will call back when you have a chance to." This was not exact but it may have been even worse, but I was just SO offended! Yup, I took it personally unnecessarily. What's stranger is that he said this more than once! The reason why I was offended is because when they ran my credit check, I made a point to use MY information only, because I will be paying for it, and that it's not my husband's decision, even when he said, "Are you sure you don't want to use your husband's information" And it was a firm, "I'M SURE." So, I don't even understand why he had to mention my husband in every situation and he made me feel very small and weak. Also, the fact that every phone call, was very dry, rehearsed, and not personable.

So this sales experience was not a good match, which doesn't necessarily mean the car dealership deserves a 1/5 stars, but the fact that I felt belittled as a woman is what scarred me. And when buying a car, CUSTOMER SERVICE is so critical, that is why I am not satisfied with this dealership.

12 years ago, my dad and I bought a car here with a very personable man, which is why I decided to come back.

I just wish car dealerships made an effort for women to feel more comfortable shopping for cars.

I bought a 2010 Sentra 2.0 SL from BHN last month. I drove a 2.0 S that I wanted to buy, but after we got the price worked out was informed that somebody else had just bought it. I don't know if this was a sales trick or not, but at any rate they gave me the higher model 2.0 SL (which had more luxury features) for the same price that they would have done the 2.0 S, so I was happy.
I took away one star because they make you wait SO LONG to do all the paperwork when you buy. We got there at 7:00 PM, decided to buy the car around 8:30 PM, and didn't finish up until 11:00 PM. I had never bought a new car before, but my parents were with me and they had, and they said it was an excessive wait time.
I also took away one star because when I went to pick the car up (they were repairing hail damage to it) they made me wait forever before I finally got to drive away. Excessive wait times=grumpy Lacy.
My salesman was Tony Knight, a very nice guy who is good at his job.
